Use nif face from Oldrim on SSE.

Recommended Posts

Hey, I have a nif face I want to use in the SSE. Since Racemenu isn't available yet I tried some workarounds like making it a preset in a custom race which for some odd reason didnt work.

Is it currently possible to use a nif face on a fresh save in the SSE? The face I want to use is a custom follower snow elf called Mirielle.

If all you have is a NIF file of the head, it's currently not possible to use it on your player character without the import RaceMenu had in Oldrim.

You can use it on NPCs by replacing their head NIF, but not on the player.

The nif file is not all I have. I pretty much have everything. What files do I need? The nif file is from a follower mod called mirielle so I have a meshes/texture folder and an esp file.

Yes, if the custom race isn't using a custom mesh, you're going to have to change that in CK.

It can be done though, as I use a custom race that does have custom head/body meshes.

Works fine.

I haven't tried changing the head meshes yet though. (I chose this one because I like how the faces look)

Well I dont know if this is the thing I was supposed to do but I tried to give this race a custom headpart. Everytime I try to import the .nif file the CK crashes ... oh well I guess I will wait for Racemenu ...
