Certain followers will no longer follow me

I'm having a problem hopefully somebody can help with please. Whenever i try to get certain voice type followers to follow (like young and eager) the option is there, but when i select it, they don't say anything, the screen exits and they dont follow.

This all started after i downloaded the Bijin Wives and Bijin Npcs. I even reinstalled the game without the mod and the follower system still doesnt work.

If it helps, i do have Dynamic Follower Dialogue installed, please help me.

I use all of the same mods that you do. I had this problem before but I can't remember specifically how I solved it. All I remember is that both the Bijin mods and the Dialogue Overhual mod are load order sensitive, meaning it's crucial where they are placed in your load order. Use LOOT to ensure this (although it gets Bijin Wives wrong all the time). Additionally, I believe I had to clean Dialogue Overhaul with TESVEdit because LOOT also said it was dirty. Heck, just check to make sure you don't have any dirty plugins, and if you've already checked, then check again using LOOT.

Finally, clean your save game of any orphaned scripts using the Save Game Script Cleaner from Skyrim Nexus Mods.
