Dragon's Dogma Dark Arisen

Recommended Posts

I was wondering since I enjoy a lot of these mods, especially the elder scrolls mods and fallout mods. They are very well done btw... I was wondering though will there ever be any adult mods made for "Dragon's Dogma Dark Arisen"? Now yes I am aware that "Nexus" has some mods for the game, but nothing really that useful. They do have a nudity mod specifically for the female character you make as your "Arisen", however their graphics mods are horrible.

As they don't change much in game at all, and well they have no quest or sex related mods. As "Loverslab" have so many for the other games I mentioned above. I was hoping one of these elite modders in here could make some fun mods for "Dragon's Dogma Dark Arisen".

I will check back to see if i get a reply to this, Thank you for your time and patience in this matter.

People have to have interest in a game before they will start modding it. A person can only mod so much if they are already modding one game chances are they won't do much with other games. It also depends on how easy it is to mod a game the harder it is to mod a game the less mods there are going to be as it takes too much time to do anything. People like beth games because they are pretty easy to mod and you don't have to be a rocket scientist to do most of it. Sometimes the fastest way to get stuff for a game is to see what needs to be done and start modding the game yourself.

The real difference is the mod and development tools. For games such as Besthesda ones, they live off mods and Bethesda knows this. They release powerful creation kits while some other games either have none or are much more limited.

In the case of DOA5 the devs made a mistake of pretty much openly challenging or tempting modders. They didn't release any tools and made a few small attempts to stop modding but the girls were sexy enough for some real talented people to make their own tools, extract and import models etc. Essentially the devs and media gave it publicity and the modders followed through as everyone knew they would at least try to.

Dragons Dogma doesn't really have any thing going for it. I love the combat in the game and the pawn system, more adult mods would be excellent but I don't think there is a lot of wiggle room for it. I'd be happy to see even a single animation change to add in some thrusting as you restrain human targets.

Some one change the Godsbane to a massive dildo and the animation to plunge it down your throat. What a way to go. :P

That sucks, but is understandable. Perhaps one day someone could, if they had the time and motivation to do so. I myself would try, unfortunately my laptop is not even close to comparison to the high end computers. So creating in depth mods which requires certain programs is for now outside my range. The best mod creation capability I have at my disposal at the moment though is the G.E.C.K. Making unique armor and weapons is rather fun, though also tedious work, so I also know very well how time consuming creating mods can be. Also "EggsBenedict" that idea does sound funny as hell. Reminded me instantly of GTA police station shower dildo weapon.

After all this time, nothing. The base game is way better than Skyrim ever was. Perhaps DD was such a good game, nobody felt it necessary to mod it.
My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined.

You're not looking very hard then.

Really? There are PLENTY of mods for DDDA. And they are pretty much all gathered at one of the biggest mod sites around. I'd say you aren't even looking for them.

Mostly retextures armor/weapons ,model swaps difficulty settings aka WD and such. but there arnt the tools persay like skyrim has . far as i know atm the models and animations can be ported out but not back in. It would be nice if there was a way to make the online into a lan private server.. as i believe all the online is dead. i know some people are working on that  but atm no luck. also the way the game uses the dx1 for armor and dx5 for the effects/spells will always be an issue to a point. dx1 has no see thru option, to compound that some of the armors have the body model turned off under the armor and that would have to be changed via hex edit per armor effecting the item.lst iirc.. found in the main arc .. making mod distribution a problem.. i would think

I never got a notification for this response until just now.
Anyway...

Oh, I'm aware of the cornucopia of retexture / recolor mods, and the tiny handful of enemy spawn table mods, but at the time I left my comment, I was referring to mods like what you'd find here for Skryim; lewd mechanic mods, quest mods, animation packs... Dragon's Dogma was a direct competitor against Skyrim, but it's such a radically different beast, modders just can't do very much with it.
