the question still stands: what can  all of us do about it? all we know is at this moment at this time the spooks are looking at this same thread and/or posing as one of the members here...hell I might be one of them lol...or maybe the guy above me or the one who will post next after me...

of course they will also say those same things I typed...

let the chaos begin...

Well the very first thing to decide is whether you are one of the people actually concerned about this or whether you do not care

If you are actually concerned and you live outside of China/Russia then invest in a VPN

If you do not care as you have come to the conclusion that no one else will care then do nothing

I read a news story regarding whether fake news won the US election for trump, "pizzagate" was one of the fake news stories mentioned and that it had been debunked by two US news papers, so i'm thinking it is very much not the tip of an iceberg

lol "debunked"

I've read several articles claiming to do just that, and all they actually do is summarize key claims without putting an effort in refuting them and the legitimate evidence that gives credulence to those claims.

Regardless, "fake news" is a push by several major news outlets to turn attention away from their corruption and incompetence.

Admittedly this is a US story so i don't really care but from what i've read the "pizzagate" story originated on the 4chan/reddit boards which i'd hardly call a reliable source but if you want to trust random posts on the internet verse the free press most americans champion about there country then that is totally your call dude

Makes me wonder what you recommend the approx. 1.6 billion common people in Russia and China for the protection of their privacy against intrusion by foreign and national powers. Nothing? Wow! Thought we all were humans after all.

And I didn't even know that there is still something like 'free press' left or even possible in the U.S. when all mainstream media there is in the hands of just six oligarchs that all promote one and the same globalist agenda, the one of the sitting government.

I'd recommend they not invest in a VPN since as i understand it they are outlawed in those countries and actually breaking the law is more likely to draw attention to yourself than surfing porn ;) that said considering the chinese already deal with there firewall and restrictions are more political from my understanding of there situation i'd still go under the premise that they aren't gonna care at your surfing porn as long as its not anti-party porn if such a thing exists

Just out of curiosity, have you even bothered to actually take a look at the evidence gathered by those involved in Pizzagate yourself?

I ask because you seem a bit quick to dismiss the whole thing just because major news outlets deemed it a non-issue.

I'd like to remind you that there have already been several suggestions and even attempts by government officials and/or politicians to outlaw "encryption" both in the US and in the EU (including the UK). So one day you may have to say goodbye to VPNs. I also would like to mention that the public support for more conservative, right wing, nationalist governments who want more control on the media and on the Internet, is on the rise in most western countries. Living outside of China or Russia might not make too much difference in the future.

Sorry but that is just a parroted elitist argument to put the blame of the own demise on the rising populism in the West - it's scapegoating. Actually a populist (some say nationalist, in the U.S. it's called patriot) ain't right per definition nor is an elitist inevitably left wired. Right/Left are outdated classifications. Remember, populism is already deeply rooted in the populus, the people, whereas elitism is increasingly disconnected from common man like the absolutist aristocracy earlier, it's the ideology of the 0.01% that rule the 99,99% in finally totalitarian 'sun king' fashion. And only the disconnected elites urgently need workable mechanisms to effectively control the minds of the alienated people, 'the deplorables' as Mrs Clinton eloquently put it. That was already the case in Communist East Germany with the predecessor of the NSA, the Stasi. It works fine for some time. Remember now that in the West there is still no acting populist government whatsoever, they are all elitist/globalist wired birds of a feather. So what the hell are you talking about, next to the ideological image in the mirror, maybe? It's always the isolated for lifted elite of whatever 'color' that wants more control of the people, it's their lifeblood. When they lose control, when the parasites lose their host, they eventually go to the guillotine... that's what the French Revolution tells us, and it's again the writing on the wall, despite all this nonsensical Russo-and Chinophobia disguise propagated by the elitist media that inevitably would lead to the extinction of mankind in the Fallout at the end of the day.

Whateva, it was never my intention to show you lovely guys the dark side of my soul.

So, back to the kitchen

Nope didnt receive my decoder ring to work out the "secret code" in the leaked e-mails, now as i've answered your curiosity maybe you can answer mine, why if there was actually evidence would someone stick it on the internet rather than contact law enforcement

I dismiss it as multiple news sources say its fake, why are you so willing to believe it?

The evidence on which the claims are based on were taken from various legitimate sources such as John Podesta's leaked emails, Instagram posts of James Alefantis, and media taken from within Comet Ping Pong, among many others.  Some of that was not meant to be known by the public.  Other places such as r/pizzagate and the 4chan thread were deleted by the mods of those sites.

And to answer your question, law enforcement cannot touch this for two reasons:

  • Law enforcement agencies believe there isn't sufficient probable cause to warrant an investigation.

Or more likely:

  • The suspected individuals are infleuncial donors and operatives of a major political party within a city that is also dominated by said party.  Plus, the current adiministration has a strong track record of withholding federal investigation in order to cover for their friends.  Thus, don't expect anything from the DCMPD, DoJ, nor the FBI.

As for your last point, I answered that in a previous post.  Those articles don't actually refute the claims.  In fact, they don't even address the evidence presented to support those claims.

On a side note, the Washington Post, ABC, and the NYT removed their articles pertaining to a recent bust of a Norwegian pedophile ring wherein several lawyers and politicians are implicated.  But I doubt those dubious actions will change your perspective on our "trustworthy" press.

EDIT: This will be the last post I make in this thread as this is a sensitive topic.

No need for a lowly peasant, who's content living his life as a lowly peasant, to worry about whether or not he's being watched while "porning" on the nets. He should be more worried about whether or not he'll be able to access his porn in the future... But you never know... a government might need its scapegoat...

By the way, in some countries, possessing porn which includes anything other than straight sex is a crime. I'm not sure if it's "missionary only" though. One day you may also have to destroy your "weird porn" archives, if you choose your governments unwisely.

good thing a peasant like me lives in a country where stringent government laws about internet snooping are not yet implemented or exist yet and where the Internet in general is still kinda like a luxury rather than a necessity so I won't worry about getting jailed for downloading and watching "Horse Lovers Vol.2"...

for now...but if some spooks from another country decides otherwise isn't that a breach of a country's sovereignty? or something?

Caught someone with a camera going through my laundry.  Think they were looking for evidence of skid marks in my underwear and wanted to document it for their files.

That is so annoying isn't it...?

That happened to me just last week. :P

propaganda(fake news) is much more dangerous than surveillance

The problem is who is going to censor fake news, we live in a time of a 1 way thinking. If you have a different opinion you are wrong. The majority of fake news i read come from official media. Obviously the manipulation is subtle.

If i say "we won!!! yeah" this doent mean that everyone won, probably for someone else will be "we lost".

So dont spam on tv what to is good for you, ppl have different lifes, different problems, different dreams, different ideas.

News can be manipulated in n ways and by everyone so instead of censoring fake news is better to give ppl the tools to understand what is true and what is false, i would suggest a lot of philosophy and tests to train critical thinking.

Goverment are a real culprit, now they use fake news for there own puposes. if something is correct they will just state that is fake news.. in order to clean there own garbage. i think it will be better to keep an eye on this even if the news online is fake on tv could also be fake. besides allot morwe news was correctly online but on tv they actually masked it.

The best advice is and always has been to critically think about what you are reading. You can do this one way by simply finding alternate sources of info and cross referencing that info. It takes lots of practice but it can be done even by those without a great "education" or "degrees" just using common sense and basic deduction. It is sad that many are too lazy to critically think and drink the press's cool aid.  (Hidden agendas and slants towards their thinking even if the "news" is correct)

On a side note, most people that don't have a chunk of money to work for them or are among the 25% of the US citizens that have all the time in the world for being jobless and living for free at Mama's but actually must work hard for a living, often in two or more mini jobs to feed the family, simply don't have time and nerves left to surf the internet for alternative political news that might or might not challenge the state propaganda of the MSM in detail or as a whole. Instead these 'deplorable' people, often w/o college degree, have developed their own workable strategy to challenge state lies, it's called trial and error or try to fool me over and over again with 'Saddam's WMDs'. Once they are convinced of something they'll stick to it, no matter how vividly a well-paid Pumbaa on the Late Night Show claims that male hair loss is doubtlessly all Putin's fault. Taking common man for an idiot finally comes at a very high price. Always.

College degree's don't open eyes nor do they open one's mind to differing opinions outside of that of a professors. They don't give one wisdom nor do they teach one right from wrong. They don't give one the skill's needed to get out of one's own way. In today's world a college degree is a paper Document as worthy as the Constitution of the United States is to the current and past 3 Administrations who chose to walk all over it. But yes taking the common man for an idiot is at best a bad idea and came with the high price the "losing team" have now seen fit to charge back to the common man for recounts cause they didn't get their way.

degrees are a tag applied on ppl to let other to easly identify you what kind of cog are you in this world. Degree tell others what job you should be able to do, not who are you. In my native country a degree in humanist studies is the only degree i could think of that would be able to help ppl develop their wisdom. Unfortunately these degrees are wortheless to find a job, they just make you a better person and year after year they are discarded more and more by students as choice. Philosophy is the art of reason but you dont need a degree, you can just read some books :) I think philosophy should be an addon to every course study, a complement to have better citizens but maybe states dont like to have smart ppl, thinking to china, usa and eu are running after china on this aspect :)

Obviously ppl can develop wisdom throught past experience and reflections but reading the thoughts of some old philosophers and great thinkers will surely give a boost.

Instead of perma fapping, sometime ppl could spend just a incredibly small portion of their life to read. Go to amazon and look for philosophy best sellers, read 10 of them :)
