Problems fixing clipping in Outfit Studio

Hi people of LL, I'm having some clipping issues with bodyslide and I decided to follow some Outfit studio guides so I can fix it. Problem is that I just don't know what to do, I'm very confused and I don't even know where to start.

I will provide a screenshot so you can help me with this:

How to fix that in some easy to follow and clear steps?

See those little "Pencil" Icons on the left of the sliders.

You click on the icon, it will highlight purple.

Only work on one slider at a time.  Don't try to fix 2 or more sliders at a time the program doesn't work like that.

So select just one of the slider pencil icons.  Don't have other sliders active either ok that will screw with getting results.

So activate one and then select one of the brushes from the top list of icons like say Inflate, or Smooth.  You can also adjust Brush strength and I usually go with less strength is more when working with stuff.

You can also now select the actual base body mesh as well to adjust how it should morph to fit the outfit so in some cases shrinking the basebody helps as well.

Once your done working on one slider you just move onto the next one and remember to deselect the previous.

Thanks! However, I face another problem now: I select the "Save" option but when I start the game the changes haven't been applied,  then I return to OS and the changes are gone...

Ah ok figures.

It doesn't work like that,

You have to save the work to a Project.

File-> Save to Project or Save Project As

This will bring up another window, which will have about 6 fields you have to fill in.

Display Name: The name in Bodyslides primary window that the item will appear as,  Best practice is simply to name it as follows.

The Name of the project, the name of the item, the Body type followed by HDT if applicable.

Example, Book of UUNP Steel Chest 1 UUNP HDT

Output File Name: The actual name of the file however you do not denote an underscore 1 or 0 at its end as the program has a check box for that on the same window.

Example, BootsF

Output Data Path: The actual pathway that the file must be placed in on file generation.

Example, meshes\BookofUUNP\Draugr\F

Below this is a checkbox set by default as Low/High weight output.  This means that when checked it puts an underscore 1 and underscore 0 file in the output path.

Single Weight check box will put the file simply as it was named into the output path without a designation of _0 _1

Now below that is Project

Slider Set File:  This is where you write both the Data Path and the Name of the Slider Set file that will be saved for this project.

Example: C:\Bodyslide\SliderSets\Tims SexyMama Undies.xml

Please note that Tim will make a panty and a bra for the set so he may want to and can use the exact same file to store the information for both of those items.  This cuts down on having a mod that has 2 billion different files one for each piece of an outfit with 9 trillion parts.

Shape Data Folder: This is the data folder that the source mesh used by Bodyslide for the generation of your Project(s) However be kind your not the only person in the world with an amazing Bodyslide Project so....

Best Practice Example:

YOUR NAME\Your Project Name\The Item Of Attire Name\

That will look like this

ShapeDataFolder\Gamefever\BookofUUNP\SteelArmor\ The steel armor parts will be here

Rather than when we open the our folder to find this,

ShapeDataFolder\ 10,000 Shitty Bikini Folders, plus one folder storing a single mod 100 times the size of the entire shitty line.  Not that I don't like the shitty line its great but I don't like clutter when I work in Bodyslide and need to get around my folders for stuff.

Shape Data File: This here is the name of the source mesh Bodyslide will use to generate the end-user's outfits.

Best Practice is to simply name it like one of the following,

Boots

Chest or ChestHDT depending on if you have one or the other or both....Do not name them both the same and sit them in the same folder that would be wasted work....

Gloves

Bra or BraHDT

Also note you may have to name the end of your designation as .nif

That's how you save your project so you can build off it, adjust it, or whatever.

Note you can make one Project file for the entirety of the Vanilla Armor line which I have done not once, not twice, but 3 times.

That means one Project file can hold well over 355 items for outfits.

I would suggest trying to keep the entire project on one file but understand if its too error prone for newer users and they just make a jeebillion different ones.

After that,

You can find the Project in the Primary Bodyslide interface to then Build and Export your outfit.

However its not actually complete,

Now you have to create Groups so that ppl don't have to sort through their entire collection of mod downloads to create your MILF Panty.

In Primary Interface find "Group Manager"

Group Manager Window pops up,

Look for "Add Group"

Type in the field next to it.....

Unified UNP click add group

now type

Name Of ModUUNP

Like BookofUUNP

Now you will see those entries are added to "{Groups" window

You will see Outfits Window on right.

Simply highlight all of your outfits and then click "Add"

They will then appear in Members window.

Do it for both the Groups we made

If you don't add them to the Unified UNP group than ppl wont be able to use "Presets" and they will remind you frequently on your mod page.

Oh ya before leaving the window use Save As

Name it like

ModName

Mine was BookofUUNP

So this did two things, we added our project to the group window and made sure ppl could select a preset for the outfits we will be presenting.
