Lip colors not showing

Hello everyone, i have a little problem.

 

I don't know if it has something to do with it, but i also don't know how to solve it then.

I deinstalled Skyrim beautiful followers and installed all the bijin mods, serenaholic + valerica and Skyrim BTRH Waifu (Elisif and Sorine)

 

Now they all work fine, but after that the lip colors of my characters are not showing anymore. 

I went into showracemenu but no matter how i use the sliders in racemenu, the lip color is not changing =/ All pale not the slightes bit of a change

Eyeliner color works just fine, it is only the lips.

No crashes or anything else, but the lip color

SKSE is the newest version 0.1.7.3 and FNIS is 6.2 (if this helps)

I allready tried to instal skin textures wich include new tint maps (Fair skin and Pure skin f.e. but the problem resolves)

I had this exact problem. It turned out to be a racemenu preset I downloaded. Try this: restart skyrim and start a new game. Do not load a custom preset yet, instead try to change the lip color of a default preset. If you can change the lip color of the default presets, then it is an issue with the custom presets. Once you load a bad preset with the lip color bug, it seems to mess up even the default presets until you restart skyrim. If this is the source of the problem, then you have two solutions: 1 redo your presets from scratch. Or 2, edit the jslot files with notepad++ to point to the proper directories.

 

Example: My present file kept referencing this:

actors\\Character\\_SOGS\\lips\\femaleheadbreton_lips.dds

 

I had to edit it to be this:

Actors\\Character\\Character Assets\\TintMasks\\FemaleHeadBreton_Lips.dds

 

I hope this helps or that someone smarter than me can fix this.

Thaaaaank you!!! That did it, no idea how this happened. I edited all my presets (mostly imperials) and now it works again. My only nord i didn't have to edit, it were only the others.

 

I let it open for a bit, in case someone else has the same problem or another solution, but that did work

 

 

Edit: Seems like i had to delete my safe file, everytime i load it the same problem occurs Other don't just as little side node

Hi guys, I had this problem too, and the solution given worked for me, but the problem is not on the save game (you can keep using the same one) it is on the preset. The thing is, when you load a bugged preset whose lips cant be colored, all the other races and vanilla preset are bugged, but this bug dissapear if you load a preset (from chargen, no vanilla) without this issues. I had a preset bugged and thankfully also a former, less modified version of the same preset, which havent had the bug and thus can be use safely. So, your bugged preset is doomed, and everytime you use it, it will bug your races, and everytime you load a clean one, you will fix the races (and lips).
