Help Converting Follower from Vanilla to SE

I've received permission from the author of this mod: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/38639/? to port it to Skyrim SE. The only issue is, when I try to edit it in the Skyrim SE CK, it crashes. As far as I am aware, there are no HDT leftovers and it's not using a custom skeleton. However, when I try to load it up in-game it will crash if I load into the cell where Dawn is, or if I use moveto to place her next to me. Any help/ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Got it done, turns out I had to re-do some of the textures as they were causing the CK to crash during edit. I'm not sure why, but different textures resolved the CK crashes.
