when i overwrite with the newer version...wrangler pimping and legion rape disappear...??

 

His version or mine? I was looking at the wrangler pimnping. I think the references aren't done right. This is actually why I was unable to continue in the slave quest for the legion which I have figured out how to fix now. I want to test it a bit more and then I'll upload it and we should have the complete Legion enslaving line as imagined by Bromm done.

 


Alright, I'm going to upload this version I played with today.

 

Changes:

 

The player now actually gets a collar when enslaved by the Legion.

They can now beg to be shown their place as intended and the animations/followup dialogues work.

When they've done this 15 times they can be freed if you've done the followup "Thank you" conversations. I know Bromm had 50 but it felt way to grindy. Bromm feel free to change it back if you'd like. :)

I fixed some of the Legion rape dialogue. All I did was some minor grammar/spelling tweaks. I didn't rewrite the dialogue. I'll leave that for Loogie. ;)

 

I also tested to be sure it didn't break any previous Legion sexing and it appears fine once you talk to Siri.

 

I thought I had fixed the collar debug text so it only shows up at the right time but it didn't work. I think it is because of how the variables are done. In my day job I'm a programmer and I noticed the variables are set up as 0 = yes and 1 = no which is the exact opposite of how it is typically done in programming. My theory is that the variables are automatically set to zero when the game starts and so the collar debug shows up if you don't have a collar already. Period. I can confirm that in my playtests if I was in a collar the dialogue option wasn't there so there's that.

Great work, nice to see people working together on this.

 

I wish there were a way to increase the number of Legionnaires in The Fort though, there's so few that it doesn't seem possible to get the amount needed.

 

Also, I still can't figure out why I can't get the Free-Floating Camera, this is what my NVSE settings look like in game

If anyone knows what might cause this I'd appreciate the help. (I'm assuming it's only my own problem since no one else has mentioned it)

The new wsex has the free floating camera and I have the option enabled in my local copy of workgirl using a merged patch but it doesn't actually do anything. I think it is because workgirl is still using some old scripts. That's actually what I'm doing now is looking through the scripts. Right now I'm trying to figure out how to get more than the few animations I have available. I know it's because workgirl doesn't use the new sexual innuendo scripts correctly and I've found the formula that calculates what sex animations are shown but I haven't figured out how to point workgirl to the most recent script correctly.

Alright. I've got great news and a bit of embarassing news.

 

Embarassing news first, my last file I forgot to change a variable so you actually couldn't finish the legion slave stuff. I had set it to 2 for testing and forgot to update it on a conditional so you could do it twice then it would stop before you ever got to 15. Oops. That's fixed now.

 

Now, for what I consider great news.

 

I figured out 2 things, 1, how to get all the new wsex animations in. I also figured out how to get the free floating camera. You can enable it in your wsex settings.

 

So, update list

 

1) More animations. I saw at least 4 new ones in 5 minutes of testing. Note this character has sex levels from 2-5 in the 3 areas so results may vary. ;)

2) The free floating camera is in. It's buggy though. Sometimes my character was transparent or just plain not there. I think from looking on the Nexus that this is a problem the mod author is having himself.

3) You can cycle through animations manually if you want by using the / key.

 

So, here it is.

Hey Loogie. Hmmm...I'm trying to think what the easiest way to do this is. My bug fixes were quite labor intensive as I'm sure your dialogue changes were. I'll give it a shot though.

 

Edit: Alright, I've got an idea and I'll let you know if it works. It'll require alot of copy/paste but it should be worth it. I can probably do it in half an hour or so of work so we'll cross our fingers. :)

Ok. I did most of it. I think I messed up a couple because I didn't realize they came from TrashQ. Anyway, most of its been copied. You might want to look it over to see if I missed anything. I also corrected a few spelling errors I found mostly from text you hadn't touched.

 

Edit, one thing I noticed is there is dialogue for being approached while a legion slave. I made a few changes to conditions in hopes that you'd actually be approached but I haven't tested it yet. I have a sneaky suspicion that slave and legion rapee are mutually exclusive.

I didn't redo it. I figured out a way to copy paste your dialogue. It was still a pain but I did most of it I think. I won't lie, a few of them had tons of possible responses like some of the whore stuff and I went "eff that."

 

Has anyone tried the gomorrah or wrangler prostituting? I have a sneaky suspicion they're broken. It looks like any condition that has a reference to the player isn't working correctly. That's why the Legion slave path wasn't working for example. I think I know how to fix it but I don't have any characters close enough to test it and it might be working anyway. Though I wonder if those are needed with the new dialogue system for whoring anywhere.

I just want to offer some encouragement. This mod has some serious potential. Going by what you all have posted and done so far, you've got the beginnings of a mod with a plot, which is something the Bethesda modding community, especially the adult modding community, is seriously lacking, for the most part.

 

Adult mods are a dime a dozen, but ones that fit into the story, ones that have a coherent plot of their own? Ridiculously rare. I don't have any particular words of advice, having no talent in the writing department personally, but I like what I see so far and am definitely looking forward to what you all can put together in the future.

 

One thing I can think of for the long term, is once you've got the basics down, maybe add some one off encounters. Scripted sorts of events that happen in various places when various things happen. In the casinos, or wherever. The sorts of things a player might stumble across, or might not, depending on how they play through things. Those are the sorts of things that add depth to a game and make stories memorable.

 

Anyway, love what I'm seeing so far. Keep up the good work guys. I appreciate it a lot.

I know Gamorrah prostitution is working as intended - I rolled in there with Cass and Veronica - and Legion regular sex is working fine. I haven't tested out the Wrangler.

I've played every Fallout games except the tactics brand since I want an RPG. I enjoyed Fallout 3 and was honestly very nervous about Fallout New Vegas because Oblivion has a tendency to start awesome and end with a whimper. Still, they did a great job with New Vegas and I really hope we see another Fallout, preferably from them, after Skyrim hits.

 

 

Glad to hear Gomorrah is working. I already knew the Legion regular sex was working as well as the slave path. I'm unsure, however, if Legion regular sex continues after the slave path or not. I didn't play much past verifying that my revised tweaks did, in fact, allow the slave path to end after 15 tries. As I said before I think that the regular Legion sex gets switched off when the slave sex starts and I'm not sure how to turn that switch back yet.

 

I'm still basking in the glow of getting the animations/tfc done which turned out to be suprisingly easy with FNVedit once I knew what I was looking for.


As an fyi, at this point I'll probably step back for awhile on this mod. I'm really excited to see some of the stuff Bromm has planned and I really got the goals I set out for taken care of so now I'm going to let him retake the reins. In particular I am looking forward to more of the consequences he mentioned.

Thought I'd let you know that Fallout 3 and New Vegas have different developers. And neither have any connection to the original Fallout titles. Bethesda is supposedly going to develop Fallout 4, but they've been quite busy on Skyrim for a while, and haven't worked on anything else.

 

As to not clutter up this thread with off-topic info, there appears to be a problem with the latest esp. The script apparently misses a stripping function, so the animation plays while the actors are clothed.

Actually alot of the Oblivion guys came from Black Isle which made the first 2 Fallouts. Several NPCs and plots points in FallOut New Vegas came from Van Buren which was the code name for the version of Fallout 3 they were working on.

 

Now, the only stuff I changed were some variables relating to the Legion sex slave chain to get it working and the fix for animations. In my tests people always stripped but my tests centered mostly around the Legion. What were you doing and did you have the settings for stripping enabled in wsex settings?

 

I am thinking of one last change before turning it over to Bromm, namely setting the Legion sex to be on from the start like it is with the other factions. I'm thinking it might make encountering wandering Legion patrols potentially more interesting!

Thank you for fixing things loogie and riggswolfe. The first thing i will do once i get back on å computer is split the dialog quest up so it will be easier for others to help make changes. Really good that you got the anims working, that is something i did not know how to do. And i am looking forward to the new dialogs. Taking things to å dark place sounds good!

I definitely changed how things worked in the Legion slave quest. Sorry. It never worked right for me until I made the change.

 

BTW, I've made the change to my local copy where the Legion sex quest runs from the start before talking to Siri. So, theoretically you could get raped as early as ummm...oh that town they burn on the way to Novac. I'll upload it if there is interest. I just tested it with a save right after I very first arrived at the Fort and my greeting was...well....definitely of the "bend over" variety. Lol.

Alright, I think I should update this. And then I'll finally put it away for awhile.

 

Changes:

 

1)I've enabled the Legion from the start of the game, just like is done with the gangs. Talking to Siri is no longer needed and I'm half tempted to add a player response of "No shit they want to try me out!"

 

2) I think I may have solved an issue that Loogie talked about in the original workgirl. The issue was that Legion outside the Fort came after you less often than those in the Fort. I haven't done extensive playtesting of this but it "feels" right.

 

3)Finally, this is a change from how you had it Bromm. Previously when enslaved the Legion would come up and use you without any dialogue and leave. However, Loogie added some awesome slave dialogue and I changed it so they now will actually talk to you with his dialogue. Needless to say it is all rapes, no choices for slave girls! I've noticed that a couple of them have the same player response but I don't know if that's from Loogie or if I messed up when I copy/pasted that dialogue.

Edit: If you like these changes Bromm perhaps you can put this file on the first post with a compiled list of updates?

Sadly I struggled with it for most of the day since I took a day off work. The maker of Wsex had posted that the scripts were new and so workgirl didn't do the new animations right and I spent a couple of hours tracing variables through the scripts and going "It looks fine!"

Then I opened the mods in FNV edit which has a conflict detector. I noticed a conflict between wsex scripts and workgirl. I discovered I could actually open the scripts in FNV edit and so I opened 2 copies and looked at them side by side and the differences leapt out at me. For instance, how animations are chosen is a new formula in the current wsex scripts. So, being lazy I opened all the conflicting scripts and just copy/pasted the new ones from wsex into the ones that were old in workgirl, like, for example, wsexquestscript.

 

Honestly, since wsex is a master to workgirl I am quite tempted to go into fnvedit again and use a function called "remove identical to Master." This would actually remove those scripts from workgirl altogether which is fine because it would still get them from wsex. That should mean that when wsex is updated workgirl will just keep right on working with the changes unless he does something kooky like changes variable names or something.

I also found a weird issue with wsex settings, probably one that has been mentioned before; when I open the settings, and go to camera options, the "back" button doesn't actually go back, but toggles camera to "mode 2". So I can't close that dialog and thus can't change the camera mode.

 

Edit: is there perhaps a console command to force the wsex settings that anyone knows of?

 

Edit 2: I just now read the op post thoroughly, kinda makes me feel dumb, eh? Although, if the bugfix works for the camera menu, shouldn't it be used for the updates you people are making?

Not sure how easy that would be, but it would be kind of nice if they worked together. I really like the story parts and dialogue of Workgirl but the combat and stalkers of Sexout are great as well. I've been playing Workgirl while testing the changes to the Legion stuff, but then when I want to just play normally I've been using Sexout since it applies in more situations than Workgirl does.

Hm i have a little problem i did cheak and my char and cass are whoring fine but when it comes to veronica well every guy thats doing her has no body only hands and head.No idea why but its only related to veronica any idea how to fix this?

If workgirl_tryout is disabled, changing the camera settings works, and the setting sticks after re-enabling the mod. It's not recommended to use the menu with the mod enabled, though.

 

Now, as far as the wsex itself goes, the STDs are irritating.. I happened to kill doc Mitchell with the char I was playing with, and turns out there are very few docs who can actually fix STDs. Or sell the items that are supposed to help.

Okey, the menu should be easy to fix, but I can't do it until monday. Then I am with my own computer again. Just have to add another line in the menu item.

 

I am downloading RiggsWolfe's fixed esp now and will add it to the main post with an explanation, will take some time on this connection tho...

 

STDs are irritating. I have been thinking about how to add condoms, and get less people infected... 2-3 % or so. Want it much like sexout does it with condoms and sllresdy hsve lots of ideas around this. Less pay if you are whoring, people not wanting to use it and so on.

 

I don't mind The fort being activated from the start, and was going to have it like that later. But wanted a menu option to turn it off first since not everyone is interested in that part and it's much more extreme than the gangs.

 

But yes I have lots of plans for it and I get a lot of good ideas from this forum, wich will make it a great mod in the end! Would be really good if we set up at team with people working on it. Me an RiggsWolfe with the setup and scripting, Loogie with the dialog. (if they are interested). Then we would be able to redo the whole mod from the bottom up wich I suspect we will have to do if we want it to be great.

First, on the camera menu thing, I have the full menu with the back button in my latest esp. Actually, as of the one where I said the tfc camera is now in. My guess is if you have an oddity like this its some kind of load order thing. When I open the wsex menu I see the nvse options, 3 camera modes and back.

 

I also have workgirl and sexout running together and it works just fine other than the fact that sometimes it feels like my poor girl spends more time on her back than anywhere else. She had a line of legionaires in the fort waiting to rape her once.

I believe your calling the developers "Obsidian" Oblivion. That kinda threw me at first. Obsidian developed New Vegas. And a few BlackIsle/Interplay developers did join Bethesda. But they didn't work on New Vegas.

 

I was at the fort. The animation was forced, no dialogue options. Also, when I was approached once, when I begged for it, and when I asked for training, it didn't strip. Could it be an old save problem; some of the variables are off, or something? Though I don't see what that would do to the strip script. I was also already naked every time.

BlackIsle and Interplay were great when they worked with the Infinity engine, but personally, they didn't do that great a job on the Gamebryo engine that Vegas and FO3 run on. However, talking Super Mutants were a good take, I missed that. Now all they need is a talking Deathclaw, like in Fallout 2.

 

I figured it had something to do with save games. By the way, Looie, I don't know if all your dialogue changes were added to the new esp s, but if you upload the esp with your changes I could apply them pretty quickly.

I got probably 3/4ths of his dialogue into my latest version of the esp. I was tired though and didn't finish. I got most of the Legion and rape dialogue if not all and most of his changes to the various "after" dialogues.

 

And yes, I meant Obsidian. It was late when I posted and Obsidian, as noted by Loogie has a ton of the old Fallout guys in it which is a big reason alot of people feel New Vegas is more like a "real" Fallout game than Fallout 3.
