Oblivion Combat Extender (OBCE) Beta v1.0

aka LoversDeathDenied

Description:
This mod is a optimized plugin that aims to provide additional gameplay elements in Oblivion combat situation. But first of all let me tell you that the Oblivion Combat Engine does not want to be messed around with, like with this mod. This is why it is a Beta for now. Though this mod is stable and will rarely or ever crash your game certain randomness might happen, so preferable don't use it on your main characters. I however managed multiple character play-throughs with rarely any weird situations.

Features:
- Death Replacer
- Defeat Scenarios
- Guard Scenario
- Duels and Brawl
- Future Quest Extensions
- Hit NPCs unconscious instead of killing (Sorry not working)
- Settings Spell (Sorry not working)

Death Replacer:
Whenever the player health hits zero (or a value defined in the ini), the player gets unconscious and hits the ground and stays there for a time defined in the ini. Theoretically multiple scenarios could then happen. If the so called easyMode is active nothing much will happen and when the player gets up combat continues.
However if that is not the case then after the player is able to get up a villain from all surrounding hostile NPCs is chosen. Usually that is the last attacking NPC (can be defined in the ini). This NPC can then choose to ignore the player and go about his day, but if the NPC is evil then he might want to use the now weakened player. He might ask for money or decide to rape the player.
For creatures there is no dialogue and immediate rape.
After any scene there is a peace time where the NPCs surrounding the player stay peaceful for some time (see the ini), before giving off a warning and then attacking again (Theoretically for as long as you want, enables more roleplay).
Followers depending on the settings in the ini will continue to fight or fall with the player.
The rape part can be disabled in the ini.

All in all this creates interesting scenarios and a narrative for role-playing in combat.
I however suggest you to lower your LoversRapers rape chances otherwise there is way too much rape going on but yeah.
The player can still drown in water/lava or fall to his death, also creatures or NPC that will always want to kill the player can be defined in the ini with their names.

Compatible with Unnecessary Violence III (afaik, please give feedback), Deadly Reflex 5+6 (DR6 confirmed by me), Duke Patricks Melee Combat (via a patch, confirmed by me).

Guard Scenario:
When resisting an arrest guards will not kill you anymore instead they will beat you into submission and then decide whether your crimes have been punished enough or not and send you to jail. Either way this provides more room for roleplay. Rape content can be found here as well.

Duels and Brawls:
Any NPC can now be approached via Dialog and challenged to a duel or a brawl.
A duel is a fight with weapons whereas a Brawl is without weapons. The duration can be defined in the ini. When the player looses or wins the NPC can loose or win disposition towards the player. So it is possible to make NPCs hate you by winning or love you by loosing against them. H2H damage can be increased in the ini.

Future Quest Extensions:
Other modders (not me though, I'm burned out  ) can now develop quests, where f.ex. the player has to be defeated for certain things to happen or something like that.

Settings Spell:
The spell is not fully working but as far as I remember you should be able to turn off the mod via the spell ingame, should you encounter any situations (aka quests) where the mod makes no sense.

Hit NPCs unconscious instead of killing:
Not fully working. Off by default. Turn on if you want some variety but it makes the game glitchy as NPCs won't die on a percentage chance.

Conflicts:
Other Death Replacers, you can run them with this but which Replacer gets executed can then be random.

Known Issues:
-The ini file contains some settings that are still in development, if there is no coherent commentary on a setting, expect it to not be functional and don't change it
-Magic Effects or Spells on the player that modify the player health can result in the actual player death
-Quest scripted deaths or quests where the player should be killed by NPCs might be broken (you will have to add the NPCs name into the ini)
-Do not initiate Duels or Brawls when Guards are around! They will attack you and/or the duelist and perform good old fashioned Oblivion massacre on citizens.
-Dialog and the whole mod in general has been written with a female player in mind

Requirements:
OBSE v0021
Lovers with PK if you want rape etc to happen

Installation:
Manual: Move into your data folder and activate it in the Modmanager. No worries nothing is overwritten.
Mod Organizer: Install and activate
Load order does not matter, but being latter is preferred
Modify the ini to your preferences

Version History:
1.0 - Beta Release

Credits:
Sleepypanda for the initial idea of a combat defeat mod
Myst42 for the alpha testing and valuable input
Bethesda for making their TES games moddable and thus immortal
You for still playing my favorite game

Licensing/Legal:
You can do whatever you want with this mod but all I ask in return is that you give me and all the other authors above credit if you distribute any part of this file.

Mods works fine but it doesnt sense male or female of npc and female npcs can get dick and fuck a male player -.- if you continue this project you should fix it :D and about there is another mod like that?

?

I don't use this mod ...But with Lovers females can fuck males and they have a dick ( Futa, shemales) That's a Lovers funtion you have even without this Mod.

Does this require or prefer a specific load order placement?

There's also an interesting looking ini setting I'm wondering about which has no description at the moment:

>set xLDDenied.takeEquipment to 0

Is this something that works at the moment and is it about having your items stolen?

Edit: Played with the mod a bit. Without having changed any setting related to it, it's still possible to "accidentally" get killed I suppose? Because I do end up having to reload a lot of the time.

Works great so far, see this becoming one of those required lovers mods, heh (only 8hrs into this game tho).

Still need to see what Molag Bal and other scripted death quests do vs this. Also noticed if you die to a trap (like those pesky dart ones) there's a chance of getting into a 'fall and strengthen' loop that's a pita to get out of unless you have health potions.

Would add the suggestion of position reversal for attacking females.

Thanks!

Loadorder is not important!

>set xLDDenied.takeEquipment to 0 has no effect, I had some features in mind and this was one of them.

The death handler does not work when spell effects come into play, other than spells it should work.

I still don't get what the problem with attacking females is?

When you get defeated by them, you should get raped by them and not you raping them right?

I think what he's asking for are cowgirl/blowjob animations when his male character is beaten by a woman, rather than them sprouting a footlong and jamming it up his backside. WappyOne's mod has a setting like that, and so works well with the Monster Girl mod, as well as situations with female characters who shouldn't be able to cast "Summon penis". :D

Then again, I haven't tried this with a male character, so I'm not 100% sure that's what he's talking about.

That's what I'm referring to here when I mean reversals, probably that other user too.

To add for ideas, maybe just have an option if the user has loversrapers loaded to hand over the rapes themselves to that mod for processing.

Woohoo! Good to see people still working on quality mods. :)

Gonna provide later feedback on how OBCE plays well with A Champions Death mod.

OBCE is in conflict with Bullet Camera by vipcxj. Bullet Camera mod puts player in god mode temporarily but it ends the moment camera stops following the arrow. You get annoying pop ups about godmode being turned on and off.

This mod is great, and works mostly fine for me, but I have some issues. Mainly, the death replacer usually kicks in when my character is already dead as registered by the game, so I get the "Player dead" music and the death camera, and then I see the popup from this mod (which is useless because the game has already "ended" since the Player is dead). Whenever the death replacer does work as intended, everything is smooth, though.

I have a relatively script-heavy setup, so I'm not sure if the bugs with the death replacer are caused by script overload that stop the mod from actually preventing the player's death in time, or if it is due to mod conflicts or somthing else. Any help with this?

Seconding this. One thing you could try is raising the hp% at which the mod kicks in, but even then for me it often still fails and I have to reload.

Where spells (anything really that modifies player health) involved in combat or only normal damage?

Also I must apologize but mod support will be rare, I'm not a kid anymore and have to move on with my life, which means moving away from gaming/porn. Let's hope I get one update going that fixes most problems.

Nope, just normal damage caused by regular melee combat, both with creatures and NPCs. I've noticed the chances of the death prevention failing are higher the more damage each hit does, though there is always a chance of it failing. For example, when I'm facing one of the werewolves from Werewolf: Legends of the North (their min level is 15), they always 1-hit kill me with no chance of the death beeing prevented at all. Regular/level appropiate enemies also can make the mod fail, though the chances of it actually working are higher.

Also it seems that the fails mostly happen the first time you are defeated; if I make my char essential, the mod fails, and get "knocked out" and continue playing afterwards (using EngineBugFixes to prevent the "death camera" bug with essential player knockdowns), the next time I'm defeated, the death prevention will usually fire off as intented, so there may be something there.

This all just seems like things that are already handled better, and in a more stable manner by Lovers. Actually, just about every part of this mod is handled by RaperS except for the bit about the guards, which is handled by a couple other lovers mods, and all are compatible with deadly reflex at least.

How do I get it to Work?

?????

You download the original Mod https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/19172/?

The  D cup or H cup. ( You don't need the file " Corrected esp"  it is old )

Unpack it in a folder

Download https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/34041/?

and unpack it copy the meshes folder in the original Mod data folder. Let it overwrite the original meshes.

Install the Mod (OblivionModmanager or manually)

In the IC Arena district you find the chest with the armor ( see screenshot original Mods)

And you need HGEC body ( I'm sure you have it installed) and a BB skeleton ( but not the one mentioned in the mod ) use  https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/37596/?

Growlf's Universal skeleton ( the controllable version, not the total controllable version )

If you don't have HGEC body, Mod manager ,...  then read my yellow Link below.
