Any experience with eyeconv.jar?

I found an old resource called eyeconv.jar that allegedly, when coupled with a program called texconv.exe from the DirtecTex tool libraries is supposed to convert non-EE (Elaborate Eyes) .dds files to EE ones. I screwed around with it for a while, and eventually got it to run...but when I selected a .dds file, it took it and read 'Processing' in the command prompt window...and nothing happened. >__> Has anyone used this successfully, ever?

Here's the translated README file, since it's in moon runes.

You may need another instance of this older Java installed in order to get it to work. Same applies to some of the other older tools that make use of Java I still use.

This too may be critical

Yeah I found a plugin to let me open the photoshop template for the eyes floating around Nexus with paint.net. I've got it down to about 2 minutes per file, so it's not too much of a hassle. I keep slightly misaligning the upper eye, but hopefully no one notices. :V
