I like Siegward better. Assuming you complete his questline, he saves another NPC and helps you take out a miniboss and a major boss

Siegmeyer just dies to few Chaos Eaters (tried to make sure he survives accross few playtroughs, always failed).

 

On topic, that's a tough one. I did always like Jill Valentine in Resident Evil, though as i've grown i've noticed there are some "damsel in distress" elements in her campaign ?

 

And also i like the asian badassess, Ada Wong in RE and Jennifer Mui in ye oldé, now dead, Mercenaries games. So much so that one of my own characters was based in them, though has since evolved into something different.

 

Additionally, i actually quite like the Just Cause 3 version of Rico, though i didn't much care for him in JC2.
