Dark spots on mesh

Not connected to the texture/ normal map and resistant to 'update tangent space'

any clue on fixing it? preferably without modeling software( all i have is wings3d, steam version of blender that is without import export nif, and a portable version I can't seem to get to run properly)

Not sure on the spots but the wings look like they are missing some bone nodes as the tips of the wings are stretching.

The wings are double sided and the verts were connected at those two points (also seemed to be missing weights at the very ends).

 

Attached is a fixed version.
