Does anybody know what could cause to only have dots (...) as answers and all locations/hauses/NPCs have the wrong name?

 

So on the map Jonestead is labeled Skyrim. Walsh is named Sera and the Pinders family home is called Forbidden Hall - as seen in the pics.

I know I have a lot of mods but I used earlier versions of Maids before without this problem - when you also could download the mod as "loose files". Now it's just the BSA and ESP. Switching up the load order does nothing.

 

I don't get CTDs expect rarely  after a SexLab scene I get a Runtime Error from Windows.

Not sure about this, but saving a mod in CK while not all of its resources are available could be the cause. It's solved by re-installing a mod in question (could be Maids, or something else recently saved) from its archive.

I'm not sure why but your answer reminded me of something:

I had a very old Nexus Mod Manager version (I use it only for fmod mods; WyreBash otherwise) and it told me it was so old that it had to delete and reinstall everything. It specifically said that no mods would be removed. What I thought was, nothing would change just overwritten. What it really meant was the mod file archives (7z) would not be deleted but every mod installed through NMM will be removed (took me awhile to reinstall everything).

But apparently it didn't/couldn't delete everything and there were remnants of an old Maids 2 version and since loose files take priority over BSA I have the problem above.

 

EDIT: Everything works now.

Is it this mod which makes the vigilants of stendarr hostile? I have a prolem with Thyranus, the guy who stands outside the abandoned house in Markarth, since he's hostile and essential.

 

This mod does not.

 

Base game interactions cause the Vigilants to become hostile are...

If you are a Deadra worshiper... yada yada... How many deadra artifacts do you currently use?

Vampire? Did side quests to ruin your rep with them?

Are a Criminal in several holds?

Attacked someone not far from them, who then called for help?

Killed any of the Dawnguard guys? *naturally DG is required*

In any "enemy" faction that they would hunt? IE WearWolf? *AKA Companions* - Being a companion, you are automatically counted as a worshiper of Heriseen, however it's spelled. To sum it up, The Deadric Prince of the hunt, and have to complete the quest requirements to be able to remove it.

 

As for Mods that change your faction, there are a LOT of them. Most don't change you to a common enemy of the Vigilants tho.

An example of 1 : Skyrim Unbound, can choose to start in a faction. Stormcloak, Imperial, Bandit, or crazy reachmen (foresworn)... The last 2 are a common enemy of everyone it seems.

Don't think so, i'm playing a quite new game and didn't do much else than playing maids, no vanilla quests at all. I guess i'm in a strange faction because spiders seem to be non-hostile, everything else i've met so far seems fine. Hmmm, i remember a dialogue with Freya from this mod where i said i'm a daedra worshiper although i didn't do any quests related to them. Maybe that's a point? But i think i've met friendly spiders and hostile vigilants before that, not entirely sure anymore. 

 

Shouldn't have a bounty either, if i even stole anything it was by accident. ;)

 

I've used the CCAS test version to be a pregnant mother from sexlab stories, not impossible that this adds me to a strange faction as well because there is a friendly hargraven, but at least it's nothing any other testers reported.

For now i've calmed him, started the quest and killed Thyranus in the abandoned house, that seemed to be the easiest way to remove his essential status without breaking stuff.

Is it this mod which makes the vigilants of stendarr hostile? I have a prolem with Thyranus, the guy who stands outside the abandoned house in Markarth, since he's hostile and essential.

 

This mod does not.

 

Base game interactions cause the Vigilants to become hostile are...

If you are a Deadra worshiper... yada yada... How many deadra artifacts do you currently use?

Vampire? Did side quests to ruin your rep with them?

Are a Criminal in several holds?

Attacked someone not far from them, who then called for help?

Killed any of the Dawnguard guys? *naturally DG is required*

In any "enemy" faction that they would hunt? IE WearWolf? *AKA Companions* - Being a companion, you are automatically counted as a worshiper of Heriseen, however it's spelled. To sum it up, The Deadric Prince of the hunt, and have to complete the quest requirements to be able to remove it.

 

As for Mods that change your faction, there are a LOT of them. Most don't change you to a common enemy of the Vigilants tho.

That works... Also, I have noticed, with the BF mod, when I picked up a baby item from the foresworn and wore it, I was no longer attacked by them, but everyone else did... It was a strange event... And I didn't think BF's baby items changed your factions... LOL

Does this have good adult content?  I'm going to just guess what kind of adult content you're looking for, and go with no.  While it does have adult language and implied sexual content, it is not an overtly adult mod like Amorous Adventures and its ilk.

 

Really, it's one of those Quest/Story mods you should try out if you're interested in quest mods like VIGILANT, Clockwork, Voyage to the Dreamborne Isles, and so on.

 

As far as details...I'm not confident in my ability to do so without spoiling the story. You really should just prepare a pre-install save and try it out for yourself.

What AustephG said. Besides the (not all that frequent) implied sexual content I would also consider it an adult oriented mod because it has a dark and at times heart-breaking story that I'm sure I wouldn't have enjoyed as much as a kid/teenager as I did now as a grown-up (and child only at heart, lol). This mod offers you a story which takes time (a lot of time and many quests) to unfold, with numerous fun and intriguing activities for the player along the way. There's a "pleasure palace" (yes, it is what you think it is) but this really isn't like a Sexlab mod. Everything in here is part of or somehow contributes to the big story, which is really a great piece of art. Among the "side activities", there's the possiblity to romance one of the main protagonists (the outcome of which depends on the player's actions), to get a maid for your player home, to get a lovely companion for your adventures, or to obtain a new and quite unique player home. But in the end it is always that amazing story which dominates all, that story which I must say I found way more intriguing than the main quest in Skyrim (and which might have taken me as long to complete as the main quest).

Hi, amazing story so far. However, I run into a problem. In quest Without boarder, I suppose to kill a bandit leader in tunnel. That leader is no where to be found. I killed all bandits, but none of them is the leader. The quest mark indicated in an empty space. Is anyone having the similar problem? My game is stuck in that point.

Loving the mod, which is definitely one of the most stable I have played in recent months.

 

I'm a bit disappointed that all the uniform/clothing/armor is locked up and unchangeable.  I can equip my followers with skimpy armor/clothing if I desire, but the Serenity girls are covered neck to toe with no (or no easy) way to change.

 

I do appreciate that a lot of time went into the armor/clothing design, don't get me wrong.  I just want the ability to adjust it.

When I saw the update notice, I knew I was gonna be disappointed, but HAD to check. <sigh> You suck. Not really...but you do. So when does the mod where we have to maim and torture Meeko come out? You heartless...AARRGH!!! STILL pisses me off. But that`s probably what you were going for. If so, good job.?

 

When I picture you reading this, I see Cartman when he fed that kid his parents in...chili?...I think. Lapping up his tears and laughing.

Very exciting this game ... but unfortunately stuck. I took the virgins for a training in Markarth and then on the way back to the county for training and after I handed them over to Matari, he got stuck. What to do ... because it's idle now. Everywhere. The Pinder girl can't say anything or anything else.

 

Nagyon izgalmas ez a játék... de sajnos elakadt. Elvittem a szüzeket egy tréningre Markarth-ba. Majd a visszaúton beugrottam néhány barlangba és a Megyébe tréningezni. Miután leadtam őket Matari-nak, elakadt. Mit kell csinálni... mert most üresjárat van. Mindenütt. A Pinder lány se tud semmit mondani és más se... és semmit nem csinál.

 

A tréning... vicces volt.
