Changing Username/Login

Hi folks!

 

I was wondering if there's a way to change your username? ... Somewhere I read that you need at least 50 post before you can change your username (I have 50 now) but cannot find the option...

Go to your profile > Big blue button in top right that says 'Edit my Profile' > Display Name

Keep in mind that you'll have to use the old name when logging in which is why I just remade an account instead (deleted old one)

is that a problem if the old account stay unused ? it will auto deleted by mod/admin after a period ?

Not sure tbh, but I don't think it's a problem

 

Just a common sense I'd say for me

No accounts are deleted.....ever.  You MUST request an account be deleted.

Hmm, i may be blind, but i do not see any "Display Name" option when i go to my profile? I'd like to make a little cosmetic change to how i spell my name here...

Click your user name at the top then mouse over to my settings click it and display name is 4th one in the left hand list.

So either i am really not looking in the right place, or something is wrong here.

It could be a post count thing much like the not being able to post links or pictures till after they had 2 posts. So it could be that you need a certain amount of posts before that option unlocks can't remember the amount needed though.

That will work for the ones that don't have 10 posts but minaemm the one that is having the problem already has 79 posts.

Ok, two minutes to get to 100 posts.  

 

 

Holler if it doesn't show back up at 100.  Also, try clearing your cache on your browser.

Yeah, thanks will do It's not that important really, just stuck me as odd. Well 20 more to go now...
