CTD when using RaceMenu Morphs

I join the party. I was looking since yesterday why the papyrus function NiOverride.UpdateModelWeight was crashing Skyrim.

I did have OSallocator all set up but not the heap one.
Now the issue has been resolved now.

Despite this ridiculous size I manage to run Skyrim somewhat fine (even if it tends to crush randomly for no obvious reasons).

It crashes when I try to change a particular body part size in a morph section. Like trying to change breasts size. Playing as a breton, but it happens with every vanilla race.

Okay. Have you double-checked you have Crash Fixes configured correctly?

 

Maybe I missed it but I can't see  RaceMenuMorphsCBBE.esp in there.

 

That load order is mess. How many active esps do you have? The simplest way to get meaningful LO is with LOOT. The three vertical dots give you a drop down.

I am ordering it with LOOT, RaceMenuMorphsCBBE.esp is active. It used to be a part of a merge but I have rebuilt it and sinse then it stopped working. It is enabled as a seperate .esp now.

Sorry, I meant that to get a LO list is simple with LOOT.

 

Personally I wouldn't even attempt to run Skyrim with that many merges. Bad modding practice to me. Anyway the first thing I would do is take all the merges out of the equation.

Hey, so this was ages ago, but I did figure out a way to stop the crashes.  I was using Crash Fixes option to use regular C malloc instead of the memory blocks. Per Crash Fixes common issues section:

 

UseOSAllocators=1 and crashing when touching sliders in character creation or otherwise.
Set AlignHeapAllocate=1 in CrashFixPlugin.ini, downside is increased load time and increased memory usage.

 

Just figured I'd drop the solution here if anyone else had this problem.

This DOES work, however, remember, after changing this value, you MUST export your body with morphs from Caliente's bodyslide tool again, if not, the slider will move, but the body wont actually change.
