Tbh im starting to be kinda of worried that the whole game is going to be about nothing then building stuff and destroying it.

I can already see the amount of griefers forming just so they can fuck up other players buildings.

 

I guess offline play is the answer to that, though i hope there is more to this...hopefully there is going to be also some good old conan headbashing without having to worry every 30min about your town being attacked again.

 

I mean that's basically the state of the entire genre at this point, not really much the devs can do about it without potentially crippling their sales, if this becomes the situation with Conan like it has with Ark (public servers being an unplayable mess) there will always be great communities with private servers that rise up and give those of us who don't like nonstop PvP or getting steamrolled by numbers a place to call home, I haven't played on an official Ark server since the first week I had the game, unofficial servers aren't hard to get into, and before anyone says they don't want easy mode, not all unofficial servers turn up the gather/xp rates.

Havent played Ark but yeah that sounds good and i dont care if it's easy mode or not, as long as there is fun..

They mentioned there is going to be also lots of exploration, looking forward especially to that.

I'm hoping for sexy mods for single player. I think I read single player in there. Or maybe one big Loverslab server full of sexy titans and brothels.

 

I've been playing for a long time MultiPlayer Games and I can safely say, that these games in the singleplayer mode are not so good.

Very many elements are thereby lost, In such games teamwork is always required.

So if I buy this game, then I only play it in multiplayer mode.  ;)

 

Edit: and regarding nude mods, simply Ashal submit the proposal.  :)

 

Oh yes, I forgot to mention, It is still not safe at all, that FunCom construction sets published.

and without this happens, that what with all the other games happened, namely nothing, for example (DAI, TW3 and many more).

This game is not from Bethesda.  :lol:  :lol:  :lol:

A new article in the news section on Steam says there will be official tools at launch. Also system requirements have changed.

 

I believe it only when it has appeared. ;)

The same had already promised CD PROJECT RED for The Witcher 3, but what was then?

It appeared only a stripped down version of the Construction sets, so the modders could not do anything.

justification of CD PROJECT RED, The Witcher 3 should not be a skyrim become.  ;)

 

And I also do not think FunCom pornographic material will allow.  :P

Why not? theyre not legally responsible for modders, theyll probably ignore adult mods existence.

If done right this may become the ultimate game for LL untill full immersion VR is invented.

 

Can you imagine the lot of us running around enslaving each other according to the game's mechanics, and then doing the LL perv stuff on top of that? Yikes. Fun times.

I would completely disagree, other than the ai needing a little work this game is already in a better state than Ark is, and it's been in Early Access for almost two years. Funcom is also competent, unlike the Ark devs who would rather release new content and add more bugs than fix what's already wrong with the game.

The combat is utter garbage tho, and I don't really care about Ark, Rust or other games and how they compare to Exiles. It's a melee focused game with much worse combat than Skyrim, which already has a very shallow LMB-clickspam type of combat. I really don't know why didn't take inspiration from games like Chivalry or Mount&Blade. Hell, even Dark Souls has better combat with the fixed combos and stuff.

Well they said something about wanting the combat to be realistic/tactical? if i remember correctly, but i do agree with you, from what i seen so far it looks like its not even up to par with skyrim.

Also the animations look terrible, hopefully this is going to change with time as they work on it.

Well, from what I've seen of my friend play, its better than Ark was at release.

 

I'm not getting it for a while though. Dunno what people expect from an alpha/early access game. There is even a huge warning steam provides, yet people always complain its not release quality...when its alpha/early access. Steam reviewers are dumb :P That is why I (rarely) get into early access games, unless they've been out a while and people have had actual time to play. If I do on occasion get a newly released early access game, I don't go around expecting a perfect game lol. 

 

With that said, a lot of companies abuse the early access thing and in it for a quick buck.

Yeah, combat was mentioned in a recent live stream, many things are getting overhauled. Many things are just placeholders. Still tons of animation work to do as well. And, it's all moddable -- not sure how that works yet. 

 

I get the feeling that modders will be very important for official development of game. Funcom intends designing "with" the community, where modders have the advantage of "show" rather than tell. And, UnrealEd, it is the best development platform I've used. Makes creation engine look very 90s.

They deserve credit for their balls with the nudity and they seem to have nailed the Hyboria Vibe like they did in AoC, but the reviews on steam aren't exactly favourable.

I think I'll get back to this towards the end of this year.

 

Would definitely be sweet if this would get a sizeable modding community.

The combat is not that bad, but some weapons and shields need improvements on damage/animation

Still, It is a survival/crafting game before it's an action game

but the reviews on steam aren't exactly favourable.

 

Most "survival" games get that... anything that goes wrong and they stamp a bad review... really toxic.
