A LoversLab Exclusive Adult Textures Replacer, DO NOT Upload Anywhere Else!

 

 

 

Description
This project is as simple as it gets, it aims to replace the wasteland's arsenal of printed and advertising materials with explicit content (because, where's the fun in roaming the wasteland without a boner, right? :P ) while trying to maintain the original look and feel of the textures it being replaced.

 

Most of the original text and punchlines are in fact intact and I spent hours upon hours scavenging the web trying to find images I could use that at least reflect (to an extent) the vanilla messages while most of the Logos Layouts have been reworked or recreated in order to stay true to the original content.

 

With that being said, do not go nuclear about this not being Lore Friendly, coz unless the commonwealth was originally run by perverted pricks, this definitely is NOT :P

Installation

 

FOR TEXTURES
Mod Manager:
Install through Nexus Mod Manager or Mod Organizer

 

Manual (Not Recommended):
Copy the (data) folder within the downloaded archive to your Fallout 4's installation folder, overwrite if prompted.

Idea...

 

Make Kinky Comic's with new perks and add them to the game (standalone) instead of a replacer...

 

Better Idea...

 

Make a Quest mod that takes you around the wasteland in search of Kinky Comic's and what not, then have it end up at a basement printing press run by something perverted (ghoul, sexbot, or something along that line).

 

Yep, track down the Kinky Publisher (either to get them to stop or to get on the cover of the next mag....).

 

....

 

So yeah... nice magazine covers.

I love the Grognak comics, but the use of photos in the other magazines is the kind of thing that breaks immersion for me. Is there any chance you could split the download between drawn and photographic content?

 

You can easily do that yourself. Check out which set you don't want to see in game (or with IrfanView with it's plugins installed) then go to textures\props\ComicsAndMagazines and remove the right folder(s), it's very easy to tell what each folder contains. Then go to textures\props\ComicsAndMagazinesHighRes and do the same.

I was thinking of something similar down the line, but I opted for the simpler choice of retexturing without the coding headache, but maybe once the CK is out of beta I'll get around to adding a standalone quest-driven mod.

 

Actually what you proposed reminded me of a mod I was using for New Vegas, I forgot what it's called but it involved running a pornography magazine publication, running around the wasteland and asking female inhabitants to pose, you take a picture and then print them, really fun mod.

 

I love the Grognak comics, but the use of photos in the other magazines is the kind of thing that breaks immersion for me. Is there any chance you could split the download between drawn and photographic content?

 

I hear you, I'm working on an installer to let people choose what to install instead of the current archive. hopefully within the next week or so. If once I completed the current retexture project, I might get around to do completely different sets of photo or drawn retextures.

That's what I did, i went through and cherry-picked which ones i prefer over the other magazine retexture mod here on LoversLab.

I just had one question though - can you please tell me what picture you used for the Grognak issue Lost in a storm of lust? I have been searching for the picture ever since someone used it for a loading screen mod for world of warcraft, 2 years ago. I have never been able to find it. Thank you so much!

I get that I could do that, or I could just provide feedback on a desired convenience feature because I'm lazy and prefer to spend my time playing rather than modding the game... It's just not my kick anymore, over the years I'm getting more plug-and-play about my mods, not less.

If I remember correctly, it's by Calm from CalmDraws, look it up on Google Images or Tumblr, you'll get something for sure, his(her?) arts are just divine!

Hi, glad you like it :)

And sure, the current version has an installer of which will be expanded as newer textures are added, however I won't be including the Videos with the textures in order to keep the size down.

 

Hey Nismo a little FYI:  you can use spaces in the help command but you need quotation marks:

help "dirty video" 4

 

Makes it easier to find them :)
