[idea] Buildable sexbot

Just with more variants, ranging from full metal robot like the vanilla assaultron, to more sleak and sophisticated designs, including those like on the images i posted in this thread before.

 

So that's assaultrons, but regarding handy robots? i really dont know what to do with them.

I don't really want a "shoe", it is for a robot - a real shoe would look strange, it has to be something that looks like its part of a robot (or that can be made to look like that).

Basically the same thing the vanilla Assaultron had, but smooth, sleek, sexy, strange - a bit hoof-like, or some strange shape unfit for a human but no problem for a robot, and NICE, not ugly like that thing they have :smile:

 

What about the "handy" bots? I might try to do something with them later, but i myself dont know what, so you'll have to voice your suggestion.

 

I am not "still" working on it - i dropped it looong time ago, because i lost the most recent work to a technical malfunction, and i needed a break.

I just found a backup with an old WIP version, but it was too old, so i just started again, from scratch.

 

As far as the handy bots are concerned, I've seen a couple of concept designs with flesh-light attachments and dildos, obviously at least one arm could be offensive, maybe have a laser or plasma gun attachment like the old school Mr. Gutsy units. Or it could just be another slot for a vibrator attachment. There are a lot of different possibilities.

Ah, of course. Well, to add a dildo or fleshlight to the handy bots would be easy (i'd expect there to be such mods already), but to make it actually "usefull"? that is where it gets difficult - someone will have to make the animations, and it surely wont be me, because i am no animator.

I'm sure Leito will get to bots eventually, so no issues there.

If anyone sees any good concept art pictures of Assaultrons, or any other sexy robots, be sure to post them here.

I could really use them for some inspiration.

 

Anyway, all the basic assaultron stuff is ported to human skeleton, now i am going to work on variants having a different look than the basic assaultron.

The other variants will be more sleek, less armored (but with optional wearable armor items), even more humanlike shapes, boobs, buts, fannies, combinations of mechanical and synthetic flesh or plastic, etc.

I do have a pretty god idea how the maid, nurse, and "luxury escort bot" should look like, but i can still use some inspiration (if not for these, then for any other models).

 

I could also use suggestions regarding the functionality of various attachments (i dont think i will be able to make the laser attachment work), or just anything related to how these robots should work.

This is from Rick and Morty, it's not an Assultron, but the design has similar elements to what you're describing. There are also a number of pictures throughout this thread.

Yep, i'll be making something like that too.

 

And i just went through a LOT of robot pictures on DeviantArt.

5 hours of just looking at pictures, one after another. I did found some inspiration and got a few ideas of what to do, or try.

Funny thing - i already had some ideas before and i was pretty happy with myself, thinking they might be pretty original ones... well, not so much - turns out that EVERYTHING one can ever think of is already on Deviantart. There aren't any original ideas or designs to discover :smile:

Have you checked Hentai Foundry? You should be able to find stuff there that would get the artists banned from DA :classic_tongue:

True, but i think that has more to do with what the robots are doing or what is done to them, and probably much less or nothing to do with the design of that robot - therefore i dont think i will find more inspiration for what i need (i'll check it out later though - if i feel the need for another 5 hour marathon of looking at pictures :smile:).

And just when i want to test some stuff, the game wants to update.

 

I hate when that happens, because i have to unmount my current game instance, let the update download all files, compare the new version with the previous one in my repository, delete the unchanged files, setup new repository with the updated version, and move the new CC crap into a separated repo just in case.

Then remove everything Steam downloaded, and mount the previous version of the game so i can still do shit while waiting for F4SE and all dependant mods get updated (i will never ever even start the game without the beautiful, gorgeous, adorable, and absolutely neccessary CCCleaner mod to name just one fine example).

And lets hope i overcome the temtation to look into what was actually changed, because that can take a looong time.

I spent two days by trying to create two robot designs i saw on pictures and eeeew... i should stick to what i know and dont try to become 3D artist.

I managed to almost make just one head and it looks bad.

So, screw that, and back to working on the assaultrons.

 

I added few polygons to the torso and legs, especially where these two parts connect, so i could create a 100% perfect fit (my eyes still hurt from seeing the butchered vanilla topology).

The breast/chest area and front armor plate has been carefully scaled and resculpted to fit the base CBBE shape without any strange deformations.

 

Now i am going to make the armor plate fit much more neatly alongside those shiny chest things (vanilla looks like it has been slapped together by a blind monkey, and i dont like it).

This will require significant edits to the topology of those chest things, using the actual texture as a guide to see where things should end, how are they supposed to be curved, and shaping those parts accordingly.

So, i am downloading the highres texture pack, hoping it will have better resolution assaultron textures that i can use to guide my edits in max.

I hope it wont end up to be similar waste of time like trying to make those robot heads :smile:

Have you tried getting in touch with Urbanshiv92? He (or she) was the one responsible for making the meshes seen in some of the other screen shots on this thread.

Nope, i did not try. good idea, but i'll make the basic release first, dont want to bother other ppl until thats done.

Good news, the boob job went well, the front armor plate now fits like if it was made to fit by a skilled craftsman, instead of slapped together by a raider on jet.

 

Started working on the hands - want to make three basic variants:

  1. Power armor hand
    Wrist area needs reshaping to get it closer to human/assaultron hand proportions, but thats almost done (some polishin may be needed later).
    Fingers needs to be rescaled, because they are way too thick in every direction, and the finger sections have wrong lengths - tried to "fix" it just by moving/scaling bones, but that results in too much disproportional deformation in some areas, so i am doing this proper in Max now.
     
  2. Cybernetic hand actuator with assaultron fingers
    Same as above, except using rescaled and reshaped "cybernetic hand actuator" (one of those things that you find on Kelloggs body) with 5 original assaultron fingers reshaped in similar fashion like those PA fingers.
     
  3. Something less robotic and more android-ish
    This would be meant for the variant with human-like arms, so the hands should fit that design, but i still want them to look a bit robotic, therefore dont want to use the human hands (dont wanna go the cheap way of "oh, look! its an android's hand! it has a special plastic texture with a neon overlay, see?").
    Not sure what i am going to use for this yet, so suggestions are welcome.

 

Anyway, just wanted to let you guys know its going relatively well.

It's finally starting to come together.

Only the basic standard assaultron though, so nothing to get too excited about, but it was a lot of work.

 

Those hands (made from the vanilla power armor hands) took so much time so i often thought its not worth it.

And i was probably right, but whats done is done :smile:

Now i am going to work on the fun parts (pun intended), finally making that softbody-assaultron hybrid variant.

 

Here is a small teaser showing the polygonaly enhanced, reshaped, resculpted, and CBBE conformed assaultron to keep the "hype" going ;-)

At some point I brought up in a forum that I'd try to make the normal assaultron bits work in bodyslide, but since then my computer died, and I'm starting from scratch. If this helps the author, or anyone is too impatient to wait for their sexbots mod, open outfit studio, new project, whatever bodybase, and start selecting robot-parts, I suggest the head first, it's... wonky. then bring in your bodybase as reference, and line the models up as best you can. from there, it's very similar to how you'd apply physics to clothing. Just make sure you set the texture reference back to the original parts, or you'll have invisible bits. Oh, also, move the bodybase, not the robot part, or their limbs will be upwards of ten feet apart in game. And yes, this means you can give your robot jiggle-physics.

Soft body torso variant.

The standard assaultron material on legs and other parts dont fit the torso style, but there will be plenty of other options later, this is just a preview.

The boobs still need some work on the "naked" version - the outer skin got a little scrambled at the edges where it was supposed to connect to the boobs.

Hands look rather big, but i think thats just the perspective in OS, it wont be that awkward in game.

This looks actually quite nice i like it a lot.

Well i would want to make a little suggestion if i may? Personally i would prefer for the belly and the back to be more mechanized, more cable and metal. A little bit more like the Midwife Cyborg of System Shock 2. Other then that the soft body torso variant looks really good already.

 

I hope you keep up the good work and that at least i can give a little inspiration to your work.
