I figured since there is a thread for identifying existing mods, there might as well be a thread for people wondering if a certain type of mod even exists.

So, I'll go first,

1: Is there a mod out there that simply adds more items to the vanilla stores so that they are actually relevant past lvl 2? Not an economic overhaul or one giant store in some random location with 500,000 items though.

2: Is there a mod that expands on the types of weapons and armor (mainly armor) that the standard enemies might have equipped? (Preferably without removing the vanilla equipment.)

You may want to look at Armamentarium. It's mostly just recolors, but does add to the variety.

Oblivion War Cry' date=' http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=34673 does both.

Of course it adds a lot of other things too. Being an overhaul makes it incompatible with OOO, FCOM and such though.

Until you install FCOM Convergence. :D

As far as I know that's out of date for OWC and won't work well.

Oblivion Warcry is INCLUDED with FCOM Convergence... trust me it's installed on my game right now and its very compatible.

It's a bitch to install but once it is you won't go back.

I've got one worth bringing up.

Is there a mod, that replaces the more "humanoid" of monsters with npc's in unequippable "monster suits". The purpose of which would be to allow them to wear armor/weapons, and use animations created for npcs.

I understand this is quite difficult for skeletons as each armor piece that shows skin would have to be made specifically for a skeleton version, so I keep my question to the more fleshy humanoid monsters.

I know there is a npc replacement of xivalai, I am wondering if there are any others?

Is there a mod that

That allows me to wear something that hides my identity?

I know the the gray fox cowl does

but i don't feel like doing those quests all over again (new game)

Not wear, specifically, but with LTD vampire overhaul, you can switch to "Monstrous form" which is very similar in effect to the gray cowl. You'd have to become a vampire though.

That's an older version. The author of the current version (OWC - New Dimension) insists that it is not compatible.

I haven't tried but he has no reason to lie.

Oh ok, oh well. I'm sure someone will make it compatible eventually.

Is there a mod that adds some form of realistic injuries/physical traumas?

Something along the lines of this mod' date=' but then only injuries: http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=7627

Also, slightly off-topic, there was already a thread like this (WCIF-thread in non-adult mods), but that one bled to death.

I had thought I had seen one a while back, but looked through the threads a bit and couldn't find one. Ah well.

ps. Nonsense667 is that you??

Maybe...

This interests me as well. In many games they fail to make the woods actually feel like the woods. They're more like spacious meadows with a few trees here and there in video games.

The guards would warn you of forests being a dangerous place ( by the nine stay on the roads!) I only saw them as a shortcut >8(

In short, the forests need to be more...Claustrophobic and maze like. If i had the skill i would add and rearrange all the trees to form many narrow passages and deer trails, as well as steep hills, trenches, rootstocks etc.

Yes, they help quite a bit. To further improve the final result, I'd also suggest using the Improved Trees and Flora mods (part I and II):

Is there any way to change the pose your character is in when you have your journal/menu open? I get so tired of see all my characters going "We shall partake in fisticuffs!"

I am quite sure you can do that by changing the idle files in _male. Although I have no idea which one should be changed. I was playing around with different BBB animation sets around, somehow I managed to change the idle animation in menu but not the idle animation in game.

Idle.kf is for when you're unarmed. Each weapontype has an idle, and there's torchidle when holding a torch. Replacing those affects stance ingame as well as in inventory.

I downloaded DMC-stylish, never installed it. Only got it for the 2H idle. The rest I use are from here:

http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=16500

Downside with changing them is they apply to everyone, including males, so they can end up standing a bit girly.
