Nightasy Mods - My Fallout 4 Collection

Recommended Posts

Greetings all,

This thread will serve as a hub for all Fallout 4 mods that I develop much like my Skyrim Thread did. Most of these links will direct you to my own personal site where I host my mods. If you feel the need to you can also find the mods on the Nexus. I typically will be developing my mods for the Jane Bod. It's a customizable body replacer with 376 morphs that is BodySlide compatible. It is not CBBE and no, I won't be making my models CBBE compatible. You're welcome to do so, please read below for the rules of conversion.

The Jane Bod now has 376 sliders total making it the most customizable body for Fallout 4.

Conversion Rules: Any modder is permitted to convert these armor/clothing models to work with any body type they see fit. In fact, I encourage and appreciate it if you do convert my mods to work with other body types. You are allowed to upload the conversion to any site you want to provided you link back to the original mod page. You cannot however reupload the original unmodified mod to another site under any circumstances. The original mod page is the page the mod is hosted on at nightasymodding.weebly.com Furthermore, you must credit me as the original author for any armor/clothing that I am the original author of. Provided you follow those rules, you'll never hear any complaints from me.

Any mods that I add to the site will be listed here.

Hope you all have been enjoying them!

Best Regards,

The Jane Body is really well done, great work! The only thing letting it down at this point are the skin textures. Hopefully some talented texture artists make their textures for JB.

Glad to see you have opened a thread over here on LL....great outfit's and great body and morphs.

I hope you don't mind the CBBE (RIP) set that I have up (it's a rip of your JB muscle sliders for the cbbe body).

Any chance you'll build a full body swap tool from a skyrim pose to FO4 pose (single mesh with all parts welded together for gloves, hats, hairs, boots, etc).

Have you gotten past video 22 on the FO4 Maya Tutorial set yet (I haven't checked in a week or so).... By the way great video tutorials.

I actually now find it easier to use Maya then Max (never really could get my head around max).

On the subject of the tutorials, any chance you'll do a list on what needs to be done to convert textures in Gimp (I don't have Photoshop and Paint.net doesn't currently support the ATI/AMD compression for DDS files).

I'ld rather have one of your informative tutorials explain each step vs what is currently available on that subject.

Oh Oh Oh....Are you going to convert any of your Skyrim items over to FO4?

its easy enough to change it to CBBE with Outfit Studio, the latest Outfit Studio even has a conversion reference.

It is also easy to convert CBBE outfits over to Jane Body... I wonder who did that

Side note for anyone wanting to convert one over to the other.

You'll need to:

Add the vanilla scaling bones to JB outfits when converting over to CBBE (along with deleting the body mesh and replacing).

Remove the vanilla scaling bones from CBBE outfits when converting over to JB (along with deleting the body mesh and replacing).

Also you'll probably want to use Maya and abWeightLifter to do the bone weighting (weight painting) as it has a better transfer -vs- Outfit Studio.

Great to see you are working on your outfits here! I really loved your outfits for skyrim and your petite body and I really hope you are doing a petite body for fallout! The UNPetite body was exactly what i liked!

When i first stumbled across your mods, it was the hmm what to wear-mod i found first, I knew I needed that body and immediately changed my UNP body to UNPetite ;).

Anyway what i wanted to say is great to see you here and that you are still active! Keep up the good work!

Hi. I like your outfits very much, but i'll stick to CBBE because of the lots of other good outfits allready available.

I tried to convert an outfit, but i'm just to stupid to do it  even with tutorials.

So i will follow your thread and hope some good guy will do this job for me.

I'll agree with you here since converting outfits can be somewhat finicky. My biggest issue is remodeling the outfits. I can move them from CBBE to JaneBod, but I tend to use a more... robust figure and the sliders have a difficult time scaling properly. Winds up making outfits which look like my character is bursting out of. A nice effect sometimes, to be sure, but not precisely canon.

When it comes to using the brushes and such, it really takes an eye for detail, and lots of patience. I attempted to remodel the Slooty Vault Suit and it somewhat worked, but it really is amateurish as Hell. I figure when the GECK finally releases we'll see much easier implementation methods and whatnot.

On a side note, anyone here at LL who is a fan of bigger and fitter ladies and knows how to work this witchcraft, let me know as I would love to learn/assist/mooch. :B

One of the things i learned to the tutorials nightasy made was to use the sliders+set body shape to keep the shape while covering the body and then going back with the shrink tool

the other way was to cheat by using the masking tool and deleting pieces of the body that are sticking out

Also if the area that you were toying with starts to look blocky you can go over it with the "smooth mesh" tool (shortcut "5")

That bit right there was my biggest issue. "Old School" Laura Croft boobies are so not in style right now.

I will make a useful post then.

Making them not for CBBE is, IMO, not intelligent. All the mass-clothes/armor sets are created to fit CBBE. Are you going to do all that for the Jane Bod? If not, bad choice of body.

A fair question, but really I am here for the Fitness, Fitness Details, Tone, Muscle Definition, and Tigersan Body Builder sliders. CBBE is all about T&A and while that is all fine and good, it doesn't really jive with my concept of a hardened survivor of the Wasteland. My character uses power and melee weapons to punch out Deathclaws. I want her to LOOK like she can legitimately punch out Deathclaws. BringtheNoise's transfer of the sliders in CBBE (RIP) is a handy sort of work around, but as of now, Tigersan has been releasing body maps exclusively for Jane Bod, so that is where I'll stick with for now.

I have a 4 point response.

1. You must not know who I am....

2. Same thing could have been said about UNP for Skyrim, that is until I made the "Ultra Skimpy Armors for UNP", followed by "UNP Hmm What to Wear" mods and UNP took off like a rocket. It only takes one big skimpy conversion mod for any body model to take off. History of modding Beth games has proven such. Only one mod, every time.

3. I work in the gaming industry as a prop/environment modeler. I have a degree in Game Design but my education did not stop at me finishing college. Modding is how I explore new techniques and fields that interest me. Such as character artistry, morph systems, anatomy and organic modeling in general.

4. You silly goose, I don't mod for you, I mod for me. I share my mods because I'm a nice guy. If you don't want my mods than move it along Chuckles.

(Frankly, if everyone had your point of view nothing would ever get made. I mean, why use CBBE when there's the Vanilla Body? Hmm, smart stuff? Logic.)

also one could add, that not everyone likes those big breasts and asses. I am very happy to not have to look at the unnatural big/bloaty ass from cbbe. The proportions of the whole body dont seem right, at least to me. And because i cant creaty armors/bodys on my own i am happy people like nightasy exist and happen to have a similar liking like me.

Thought I'd offer some critique/whatever. I'm holding off on JB for now but it looks great.

I'm using CBBE with some extra fitness-like sliders from CBBE RIP and it looks as unlike CBBE as I could make it, but having seen the JB mesh and editing it, the slider options themselves blow CBBE away. No breast slope options in CBBE and JB also offers some great sliders for ass shaping, if you will.

However, skipping the weight triangle is kind of off-putting as with CBBE although the bodies are pretty similar across the NPC's, there is some variation. And them textures, but I guess that'll get updated by someone or converted from say Nuclear.

Weight triangle had to go. It just did an awful job of shaping the body and typically deforms it in an unsightly way. Not to mention that rigging to scaling bones often leads to clipping for anyone that uses the triangle. I plan to add back variation through a leveled list swapping system. I'll just quote my post explaining my plan:

"While it does seem like an awkward thing for me to do, disabling it was a good thing. The weight triangle morphs the body weirdly. I mean, it just looks terrible even with the vanilla body. Disabling it allows the user to control how the body is shaped through morphs which are far more accurate and look a million times better. While I do salute Bethesda for the attempt at implementing scaling bones they just did a God awful job of it.

Once the Creation Kit gets released I'll be exploring a means of which to bring back variation in body sizes. One route that I already know is possible that I plan to take is to setup a leveled list structure that allows multiple variations of the same outfit morphed differently. So each outfit will have around 10 variation of body types assigned to it. When you encounter NPC's and raiders, etc, the leveled list will randomly pick one of those variations of the outfit and equip it on the NPC. Using a script, when the player picks up the outfit it will get swapped to the body type the player is using.

So, to the player, it will appear that the game has variation in body sizes. However the player will be able to develop those 10 different body types themselves and batch build them into their game. This will give everyone more control over body variation and an overall better visual experience.

(Getting rid of the weight triangle is a well thought out plan. It's just yet to have been fully implemented. You'll see.)"

The body textures were updated recently however the mod screenshots don't show them. I need to update the screenshots for the mod. I'll probably update them sometime soon. Sure, the body textures may not be the greatest thing since sliced bread but they were slightly improved to give a bit more of an oily/shiney appearance closer to what CBBE currently has. Regardless, I would also love it if one of the skin texture artists came along and made their skin texture compatible.

Version 1.7 is live!

ADDS 310 NEW SLIDERS!

This is a pretty big update. In secret I've been developing around 10 to 15 new morphs every day for the past month. I've successfully mimicked three entirely unique morphing systems. The Jane Bod now has 376 sliders total making it the most customizable body for Fallout 4. I'm currently updating the vanilla conversions file so that it works with the new sliders. Stay tuned, I'll get it updated in portions and upload the updated vanilla conversions file in chunks.

(Note: I removed the Body Physics version until more can be done with the bsClothExtradata.)
