2pac + BodySlide + Other Things. Something not working here.

*edit* added pics now Ive got my post count up.

Hi!

Never posted here before, but I've been watching in the background, taking it all in and going completely mod stupid with Fallout 4.

Anyway, I've hit little issue that's been bugging the hell out of me. Was hoping some of you here could tell me what it is Im doing wrong.

I've been happily CBBEing, bodysliding and batch building. Everything has for the most part been working smoothly.

But now...

Lately I've been using this fantastic CBBE mesh:

'Athletic Girl - Enhanced Body Outfit Meshes' and 'Oni face and full CBBE nude re-texture'

She looks great... but I improved it by combining it with 2pac's custom CBBE sliders to give more 3D definition to her stomach (plus some tweaks to her breasts and butt).

In Bodyslide I select:

Preset: AthleticBody-4  (the Athletic Girl CBBE mesh)

Outfit/Body: CBBE2pac

I put all 2pacs sliders on 0% except for :

DO NOT TOUCH THIS SLIDER: 200%

DM with Abs and visible ribs: 100%

Then make a few other alterations and build it.

She works as my default skin. Looks awesome!

I save the preset as AthleticBody-3D Abs

Now the problem...

I want to use it to batch build but every time I change the Outfit/Body selection I lose 2pac's CBBE sliders and the body changes.

How can I work around this?

Thanks!

No pants. The mesh works.

Also, notice the mark between her breasts? Thats a result of 2pacs sliders. Mesh collision or something. Its not noticeable when in Bodyslide so I'll have to play around a bit to get rid of it.

Wearing the Spartan harness also works.

But, put pants on... body changes.

Your trying to put on "Spartan Sniper Outfit - CBBE by calyps", the whole set is fine except for the pants. I tried the armor out and everything was fine till I put the pants on.

My character has her body tattooed and when I put the pants on the Tattoos vanish except for the hands and you can see another body type. The pants for some reason replaces your body.

Slider presets only work for sliders present....it is no surprise that 2pac's sliders are not present in calyps outfit. Additionally, 2pac uses a different body mesh than calyps or even Athletic Girl enhanced body. I used the enhanced body and added 2pac's abs and ribs to it for a very nice look, but I only did this for the naked body.

I think you are going to have to use Outfit Studio to achieve what you want. You will have to load 2pacs convertcbbetomelons.osp and load the calyps spartan body nif. Conform that nif to the slider and move the slider to 100%. You should see calyps get big boobs.....so set that as the base shape. Now load the reference CBBE2pac.osp and conform the calyps nif to those sliders. Save the project and now when you batch build with your preset it will have 2pac's abs and ribs sliders and it will work this time....but only for this 1 outfit!

I should add that IF you want to use the Athletic body for this whole process (since Calyps Spartan body is just a retexture naked body) You can just drop the Athletic Girl body in Calyp ShapeData folder and rename it. You will also have to change the material settings inside the nif. DO that before your bodyslide work or every time you generate it the materials will still point to naked skin instead of calyps custom one.

Actually scratch that last part. No need to edit the materials. Calyps did it with FO4Edit wizardry. It should work with default naked skin settings.

Notice the difference between the actual naked skin and the Spartan outfit skin.

calyps didnt make his outfits to use my sliders, but its easy to make them use them:

Convert almost any CBBE based outfit to Double Melons (it must be cbbe curvy, curvy (outfit), slim , or slim(outfit)):

Make sure you have the latest version of my slider addon mod.

First you need to find out what cbbe body variant the author used in the mod, they will usually say in the description. Most common is CBBE curvy, and for the sake of this tutorial im going to assume its CBBE curvy, but that wont always be the case!

For this one the order is extremely important!

1. File -> load reference -> curvyToDM.osp  (because the body the author used is CBBE curvy in this case)------ The reference MUST be loaded first or sometimes it wont work!

2. File -> load outfit -> the nif you want to resize to DM

3. Slider -> conform all

4. Move the slider all the way to 100%

6. Slider -> set base shape

6a: You can stop here and save the file if you only want plain double melons with no other sliders, if this is the case, skip to step 10.

7. File -> load reference -> CBBE2pac.osp

8. slider -> conform all

9. Load your preset that you made with my slider addon mod by using slider -> load slider preset

10. Export the nif and overwrite the original!

Thats it!

Hi!

The new version 0.9.6 (ATLEAST the "no Armorsmith Extended Required") Should solve it...

In this version the .nif has separate textures for lower body and upper body, therefore should not replace your own custom skin.
