Hi to all Sims game worshippers :)

 

Thanks to some of you (Selina Kayle, Ras, OR2, PA2,  and others whom I can't remember names at the moment) and of course, most wonderful mod Oniki's Kinky World (Love you ONIKI) I became Sims 3 addict. There, I said it ;)

 

First of all: I apologize for my limited English knowledge.

 

Since I love to create a stories in combination with pictures, I came to idea to create "Sextopia world" based on OKW mod. Here is the idea:

 

  • The world is a small island without any infrastructure; no restaurants, no roads, no cars, no companies, no work, no school, no hospitals, no police, no movie theaters and any public facility
  • Also; no burglars, no pranks, no curfews for teens, no anything that modern society has today.
  • On the other hand, Sims will be jealous, envy, angry ; they will argue and fight (it's because they have a human nature after all)
  • Sims will have modern technology gadgets (TV, Stereos, Computers and similar) in their homes but there will be no public facilities with such objects. There are only two public places: City hall for making the game easier to tweak in MC and a large park with a swimming pool in the centre of the island with various objects for having fun when Sims want to socialize (mostly for sex).
  • The island is called Island paradise made by Claeric (thank you very much Claeric):

- The island contains 6 (10x15) houses for 4 persons and one house for my Sims (The Architect and his wife. Both are teens).

 

Who are Sextopians?

 
- Sextopians are Sims created by their authors that live on Sextopia Island. They have the traits and skills set by their makers. They are fully dependable on EA's UI and the mods I have in my game. They are autonomous in all segments of the game except the parts I described bellow.
- Sextopians are very sincere. They speak what's on their mind. They swear, insult each other, make fun of the others, and mock each other. Since they live for sex, romance and flirting, they will try to seduce everyone they can. They will also try to cause romance and marriage breakups of other Sextopians if they have a chance. They will cheat on their partner, they will look for every single possibility to have sex everywhere and with everyone.
- Sextopians are crazy, hedonistic, kinky, perverted, horny, dirty minded, and short temper Sims, but once you get into their lives, you may start to like them. Regardless of their low morals and misbehaving, they are cute, romantic, willing to help and stand up for each other. Friendship is sacred to them and they will do everything possible to protect their friends.

 

  • Sims will not have any needs (sleeping, eating, drinking, bladders), will not have sickness, disasters and children. Pregnancy is not allowed on the island. There's only need would be - sex sex sex!!! 
  • Sims will not grow old, be killed or die. They will remain at the same age as they are posted to me
  • They will organize parties, orgies, public group sex and enjoy in freedom from the boundaries of the modern world. 
  • They can marry and divorce and they can have sex with teens and marry them as well. 
  • They can be straight, gay, lesbian, bisexual, whatever they want. Since I do not have Pets expansion, there will be no bestiality.

 

Now, how the game works:

 

1. Every participant needs to post his/her self Sim to me. You can make your self Sim as a teen too. You can dress him/her anyway you like, and give your Sim any skill and trait you want. (Preferably your true natural character).  I will not change anything. Your Sim will be placed in one of the houses with full autonomy. I will not influence on your Sim's relationships, likes or dislikes, or doings. His/her life will be out of my control.

 

2. My activity in this project has been reduced to a minimum. I will only be playing with my Sim as active to take screenshots. The only occasion where I take control over other Sims is during weddings because EA's AI for inactive Sims doesn't make any record about weddings except the notification. Even, then, my control will be limited until the ring exchange and right after that, I'm switching back to my Sim.

 

3. The idea is to make records of your self Sim's life and doings. When collect enough pictures, I will make a story in pictures out of them. Mostly funny. When finished the story or episode of the day, I will post it here so you can see and comment. In that way, you can see what your Sim is doing while not being under your control. You can learn if your Sim truly represents you or he/she wants to go on his own in relationships, sex preferences and similar.

 

Note: I will keep the freedom to interpret game events, situations, happenings, conversations and Sims's behaving as I like, so my stories mostly will not follow the original game AI and true happenings. If anyone feels offended with my interpretations about his/her Sim after reading the story(es), please PM and I will apologize and promise to not to do it again because i respect your wishes and standpoints. Your Sims are sacred to me as mine is to me too.

Hm..,nice Idea!But I think,this is not to be realised!

Nobody can send you a Sim,that looks to you just like with the Manufacturer!

We all create Sims with CustomContent, Sliders,Masks,Traits,Skins,Clothing,Accessories and so on.

You would have to have everything to indicate this ledge in your Play properly!

Start the Game and goe to the CAS Folder and select available Sims!

PA2 - Do you know how I know that this will work? - because when my father was alive, he created similar thing on TFM's forum called Simtopia. The game lived for 2 years.

I know that we all have different expansions. I don't have no all of them too, but when he was received self Sims, the game changed only certain things he didn't have in game. So he captured a screenshot and asked a person that submitted self Sim what she would like to change. The point is that self Sims looks as much they can to thier creators in physics and mentality.

It's not just expansions, it's custom content.....In just the clothing section of my mods folder I have 858 files, not to mention the hair, makeup, custom-sliders and so on. 

 

If I happen to use an item that you don't have, your game will replace it entirely at random, I'm not sure you would even be able to load a sim created using sliders that you don't have.

 

Many of us use the NRaas Mods to change which clothes are available in which categories, how many accessories a sim can wear (my game seems to crash if I go over twenty), whether hair colour is locked or linked to the outfit and countless other variables.....If your game does not have (at the time you import the sim) exactly the same settings, bad things will happen, to the sim at best, to your savegame at worst.

 

If you set rules, such as no CC (unless the files can be found here), it might work, but otherwise it would be chaos. 

 

Happy to send you one of my more complex sims to try out.....I'd be amused to see what it turns out like!  (actually this might make an amusing game in itself)  :D

 

PS - If you are using KW then I am out.....My sim, like me, goes everywhere with his dogs and there ain't no way anybody gonna be fucking them!  If you can get the Weapon System Mod to work autonomously so my sim could defend them, then I might just consider it.  :-/

I'm aware of all of this, but there is always a way to make compromise. The emphasis is not so much on outward appearance as on the self Sim's character.

Yes, I'm using OKW but I have no Pets expansion. So, there is no need to be feared for your dogs ;) I also do not have Weapon system mod. And if I would have it, I wouldn't activate it since this world knows no violence. Only Looooooooove :)

Not something that Sims 3 is very good at without some fine tuning, which can only be done in game......For instance, all sims are innately bisexual until you adjust their relationship scoring either manually or through play.  AFAIK all of this tuning is lost when a sim is uploaded from the save game to the saved sims folder, so when you add the sims to your world they will be a blank slate (modified by their traits).

 

Personally I'm not keen on self-simming, or indeed simming any real individual, with the exception of some rather vicious parodies of certain 'celebreties'.....Happy to send you some sims to mess around with, but I doubt your versions will look or act very much like mine.  ;)

There is solution to it. Once I download you Sim I will post a picture of him and the descriptions of his traits. Then you say what changes needs to be done, and your Sim will be as you wanted him to be.

nice. I`ve never exported a sim before so I have no idea how to do that. But I`ll see If I manage during the holiday.

    Hello my fellow sim fanatics. I saw this topic this morning and was thinking about it all day.  In the end it sounds like a wonderful idea but a logistical nightmare. So I was thinking of ideas to make this easer on the long run. This will take a bit of work in the beginning but it would make everything go smother.

 

1. Post a list of the expansion packs your planning to use so that we can avoid clothes and traits that won’t be available. A list of the total traits would help us cause there not labeled to each expansion like the clothe are.

 

2. Here’s the interesting one. Make your very own mod folder with everything u want and feel will help the experience, and after your done post it on the forum. Afterwards we’ll download it and temporarily replace our own mod folders and use your mod choices to build ourselves as sims.  This way you can chose the accessories that would complement your theme and you can regulate the variety in your world vs how much clutter there’ll be in it so it doesn’t impact your performance. Here you can use the sliders u want, hair, skin, body, ect.

 

3. Point out particulars (if any) that are not governed by the mod folder.

 

4. If after you have posted the mods and find things you want to add than make a separated download with the content and if we had submitted a sim already and want to include the new content we’ll make an updated sim with the SAME NAME so all you have to do is overrate the old sim.

 

5. A link to a tutorial on how to post an item (sim) on the forum would help speed things up.

 

 

Now, I’m curious as to how do we name our sims. To we put traces of our names or part of our user names…or a mix of both. Plus I thought it would be funny to include a few celebrities or recognizable sims build under our perception of their personalities to see with who they end up.

 

In the end this is just an Idea. What do you guys think?

Hi Tiki: Thanks for Ideas and suggestions although I think, no offence, you complicated a bit in some points or at least I understood it that way ;) :

 

1. added to the first post.

2. It is a long time work and I'm inexperienced in this area. I don't mind what accessories and clothes participators will use for their Sims. I want to make it simple as it can be. I saw my father created Simtopia worlds for young adults and teens and all worked fine in according to description from the main post.

3. I explained that my the game is mostly depending on Oniki's Kinky world. (if that is what you mean)

4. I have already created a folder for self Sims and there is no need to upload it here for update. If anyone wants to update his/her self Sim all he needs is to post his Sim.

5. Excellent idea - will do it right away :)  -done!!!

 

You can call your self Sim anything you want. But I prefer everybody use his avatars name for easer identification.

 

 

Plus I thought it would be funny to include a few celebrities or recognizable sims build under our perception of their personalities to see with who they end up.

- Sorry, I don't think I understand this... can you explain/simplify for me.... :) thanks

OK then, sorry if I got a bit carried away but I'm glad some of it was useful :D. As for the celebrity thing, I though to ad a few self sims of famous or fictional peoples to see who hooks up with them.

 

No need to apologize my friend. You shared what you thought it should be done and I respect that. :)

 

About Self Sims. The minimum number of self Sims to start the game is 10. Maximum is 30. Because I don't want to overload the island and it will be very hard to follow Sims and create a good picture story. (will post the picture of the island later)

So, slef Sims with "original" avatar's name have advantage. :)
