Animations - sometimes work, but not always

I got the mod working and setup.  In order to test it I added SexoutSex mod that makes all NPCs have the option.  However, I noticed that it usually adds 2 choices to the menu.  The one related to 'helping me with something' does not work right.  No matter which choice I choose the character and NPC just stand on eachother (sounds are playing).

 

However, if I chose the other choice (a more direct solicitation) it works fine (if the NPC agrees) and plays the animations.

 

I have checked my load order and dont see an issue there (wrye flash says it is ok).  I also tried disabling all sexout related mods, creating a 'clean save' then enable them again but that didn't help either.

Same problem here. I have some vague ideas what might be wrong, but I'm not sure.

 

Option A: Sexout missing prerequisites.

 

In addition to Sexout Sex's "I want to try something" lines not triggering animations, I'm also seeing some "hard sex" animations not working in Tryout. With Sexout Soliciting, a quest to service two cowboys in Novac fails to play the correct anim or trigger the bathouse employment.

Option B: Outdated Sexout Sex installed. Odessa posted an update in October, but it's on page 14 of the support thread and I think the download file may be outdated. We may need to install the update.

Option C: Sexout Sex not compatible with the latest Sexout? The last post in the Sexout Sex forum claims that.
