I remember the quest. You investigated a building called "golden globes" in new Reno. The director would collar you as soon as you walked in, and offer you a screen test.

 

If you picked the trait 'attractive' at the beginning of the game (more dialog options with npcs. Members of the opposite sex might like you more, while members of the same sex might instinctively hate you. More predominantly with a female character) and you earned the perk 'karma sutra master' (have sex more then approximately 5 times) then he would be so blown away by your "performance" then he'd offer you a monthly contract.

 

If your charisma is high enough, you can get him to increase your wage, so that once a month, you can go film and get paid a hefty 600 caps per movie.
