I think you gave Rachael the pregbody, but intended to give it to the teacher there (forgot her name). She doesn't get P+ clothing.

Alright, a little contest. For Jade's follower module, I'm trying to get her to say interesting stuff about places in the wastelands. The only problem is: there's way too many to choose from. So here's the contest: everyone who's interested can suggest several locations they feel HAVE to be mentioned by Jade as you pass through that place. There's several categories:

 

 

-Houses (these are places where NPC's live, such as Lucy West's house, Boone's Room or Karen Schenzy's House.)
-Towns (Self explanatory. Settlements with larger populations living in them such as Megaton, Goodsprings or Vault 101)
-Buildings (Places like Moriarty's Saloon, Gomorrah etc.)
-Dungeons (Caves, ruins and other places you explore for loot such as Dunwich Building, the Metro or Mothership Zeta.)
-Landmarks (Iconic places with lots of background to it such as the Washington Monument, Yangtze Memorial or Quarry Junction)
-Vaults (Vaults which are no longer inhabited and serve only as a gruesome reminder of the past.)
-Wasteland (Certain places in the Wasteland which will always catch your attention such as the Car Fort or a ruined town.)

 

 

 

The locations you want can be in the Capital Wasteland, Mojave Wasteland or basically any place featured in Fallout 3, New Vegas and all respective DLC's. To participate, simply type in the comments, as well as the category. You can, of course, suggest multiple locations across multiple categories. (In fact, if you can name one if every category, chances are your suggestion will get included. If you even add what she'll say, those odds are even better, so feel free to get creative ;))

I got some ideas, but I was curious about how much you wanted it to be "legit" comments, such as you'd see in the vanilla game or safe-for-work mods, versus stuff obviously meant to remind the player that this isn't SFW Fallout anymore.

 

Still, I'll type a few down for you, mostly based on the kind of short comments the Fallout 4 companions make.

 

Cities/Towns

 

Fallout 3:

 

Rivet City: "Home sweet rusted temporary home."

 

Megaton: "Nice to see all these folks living and thriving around an intact nuclear weapon. Gives me hope for the future... You know I'm being sarcastic right?"

(I'm going off the assumption that she has no idea the player has the ability to disarm it. Still, even if you choose to render it harmless, they keep it around so the comment is still valid.)

 

Megaton after being destroyed: "I think I remember a town being here. I'm sure of it."

 

Underworld: "Do you smell something? Is it me? Is it him? Or her?"

 

Citadel: "Never thought I'd set foot in a Brotherhood base. Can you talk them into giving me a suit of power armor?"

 

Big Town: "This town isn't big at all! I hate lying place names!"

 

Canterbury Commons: "The Commons: come for the stupid comic book heroes, stay for the boring-ass traders."

 

Grayditch: I ever tell you how much I hate bugs?

 

Republic of Dave: "I should run for mayor of this place. (gasp) I could rename it the Jade Empire!" 

(Bioware references, bitches!)

 

Tenpenny Tower: "Assholes pretending to be rich in the middle of the wasteland. That's kinda new."

 

Little Lamplight: "I swear, the next kid that calls me Mungo is gonna get a boot to the head. I don't care how old they are."

 

Vault 101: "So this is where you're from, huh? I honestly thought it would be bigger. That's what she said."

 

Andale, Arefu, Paradise Falls, and Evergreen Mills could share a generic "I don't like this. We should leave."  Even though player choice and mods could make these places friendly or empty, she still doesn't have to like them herself.

 

 

New Vegas:

 

 

Goodsprings: "I should be disappointed that this town falls under the "saloon" stereotype, but I'm not."

 

Primm: "Bison Steve Hotel? Who the hell is Bison Steve, and why did he build a hotel?"

 

Sloan: "A dirty depressing town full of dirty depressed miners. You take me to the best places."

 

Nipton: "Who the fuck would do this to a whole town?"

 

Novac: "You'd think I'd make a comment about the hypothetical size of that dinosaur's dick, but I won't."

 

188 Trading Post: (Perhaps Jade can point out the Breeder Quest here, since the only other thing of note at 188 is Veronica. Same with the Mojave Outpost.)

 

Jacobstown: "An entire town full of supermutants that don't want to kill us. The Mojave is weird."

(I'm sure many people here also us the TTWquestoverhaul mod, so murderous mutants are barely a thing, but it's still best to assume not everyone does. In any case, the word "kill" can easily be changed to "fuck" and I wouldn't lose sleep.)

 

Freeside: "Okay, first we're gonna check out that Atomic Wrangler place, then you can get on with your questing or whatever."

(perhaps randomize this with the different names of the places here, so she hopefully says something different each time you enter the zone.)

 

The Strip: "FYI, hold on to your caps or I might just steal them and run off to Gomorrah. It's a weakness."

(Again, perhaps randomize the casino name for variety. But I personally wouldn't, considering what Gomorrah offers lore-wise.)

 

Westside: "The strip may have all the lights, and Freeside may have all the cheap hookers, but this place is special... it smells like puke."

 

Nellis Air Force Base: "Explosives, heavy ordinance, and a reckless desire to use it on everybody that comes close. Love this place."

 

I'd say she should have generic apprehensive lines around places like Cottonwood Cove, The Fort, NCRCF, Vault 19, etc, considering how women are treated in both vanilla and most mods here. Perhaps in the future you could add some special compatibility with other modders, but keep it simple for now.

 

 

 

 

 

Generic Locations

 

Fallout 3

 

 

Old Olney: "No, sure, let's walk right into the ruins infested with deathclaws. This is gonna turn out GREAT."

 

Minefield: "If you make me walk over a landmine, I'm gonna be so upset with you in the afterlife."

 

Dukov's Place: "I'm going to pretend this old creep isn't staring at my tits, otherwise I might try to shoot him."

 

Scrapyard: (She whistles) What? Thought I might get my own dog while we were here.

 

Dunwich Building: "The oldest and strongest emotion of mankind is fear, and the oldest and strongest kind of fear is fear of the unknown."

(Lovecraft reference inside the Lovecraft reference. Lovecraftception.)

 

GNR Building: Holy SHIT, I didn't expect Three Dog to look so... so... much like Three Dog.

 

White House: It might be funny for Jade to say wildly incorrect things about the real building when you approach. Would give players incentive to go back multiple times. "I heard the president used to live in an office made entirely of ovals." or "The president would stuff all his friends in a cabinet during meetings." or "I heard that this place wasn't really white, they just said it was."

 

 

 

 

New Vegas

 

 

Hoover Dam: "All that water rushing through here really makes the building vibrate. You know what I'm talking about."

 

Cazador Nest: "Hahaha, fuck that."

 

Sunset Sarsaparilla Headquarters: "I'm really sad this isn't a Nuka Cola factory."

(oblique reference to the ShoddyCast youtube channel and their video on the Commonwealth.)

 

 

 

 

 

Vaults

 

Fallout 3

 

 

I'd avoid any comments inside Vault 87 since it's a very plot-heavy location and Fawkes says plenty.

 

Vault 92: "Do you hear that? I swear my ears are fucking ringing."

 

Vault 106: "I'm not crazy. I'm not crazy. I'm just a woman mutated by aliens who is now watching her (family member) dancing across the room. Not crazy at all."

 

Vault 108: "Gary?" (maybe randomized with different punctuation and emphasis.)

 

Vault 112: Either: "This is the most boring vault I've ever seen." or "Think those pods have a beach vacation program? I could use some relaxation about now."

 

 

 

 

New Vegas

 

 

Vault 3: "So now we're going into a vault full of drug-crazy fiends. Wonderful."

 

Vault 11: "See, this is a perfect example of why I hate politics."

 

Vault 19: "Escaped convicts and small confined spaces. I'm keeping the safety off my gun."

 

Vault 21: "Something about this feels really tacky. Like, I can feel the tackiness crawling into my skin."

 

Vault 22: "I remember seeing a movie like this when I was little. There was this giant plant that wanted people to feed it blood. Hated the ending."

(I would be disappointed if people in the Fallout world DIDN'T come up with their own version of Little Shop of Horrors.)

OH.... you guys and gals are in for a treat.. a real treat.. ;). Trust me..

 

 

How would you know that? It hasn't been released yet :P

And besides, don't take anything for granted, I might semicolon every line in every script that's supposer to ensure awesomeness :lol: (Nah, I would never do that.)

I've found a few bugs or im misunderstanding whats should happen.

 

Jade dose not use her carbine, she will equip it but dose not shoot  it. But will use other weapons and she dose not sneek and randomly run ways on zeta.

 

Combat armor makes my body invisable regurdles of P stage. I'm guessing im missing a mod for it?

 

Collectable Logs 17 and 18 have no voices on the tapes, I have to use subtitles to listen.

 

Impregnators dont get me pregnant I just get a pregnant equip armor that i can take off. Is this the way it should be or should be be showing up in the medical tool that im pregnant and have xx hours to go?

 

Where is Jade in Rivet City after the zeta dlc? I think I've lost her after finishing the dlc.

4: If everything works as intended, you are given a gestating offspring by the Impregnators. The big belly is just for effect and NPC's, but the Impregnators do get you pregnant.

 

5: She'll get there on February 12th, that's when the Jade plugin is released. Once that seperate plugin is loaded, you'll have to wait 1 in-game day before she moves to Rivet City.

@pepertje - I don't know if you have found the solution to synchronised sneaking yet. But it is possible for me to have the pieces for the synch:

 
Declare bSynchSneak
 
bSynchSneak=0
 

In a dialogue option set up the enabling action:-

 
bSynchSneak=1
 

In a dialogue option set up the disabling action:-

 
bSynchSneak=0
 

In the main function of the companion code:-

The "SetForceSneak" commands can be altered for an AI package which causes sneaking or not in those it is applied to.

For the comments I'm thinking that maybe unlike billbob1 with the "Paradise Falls" location there could be more to this location:-

 

Jade: I don't like this location, we need to leave. Having the mutation is bad enough but being a slave is worse!

 

If we stay too long or get too close we will get caught and I don't want to become a slave. So we need to leave NOW!

As a addition in a future episode or release you could have something going on which the player and/or Jade could end up involved in possibly captured.

 

As part of this there could be patrols of slavers protecting the area around the outside of Paradise Falls. In order to get in for vanilla quests you need to avoid these patrols who will endeavour to capture you.

 

Getting caught by the patrols will trigger the content in Paradise Falls and the wider area (around Paradise Falls).

As for Jade... she's being released in 7 hours, so I doubt I have the time to implement another chapter into it. She does tie in to a lot of scenarios from Fallout 3, its DLC's, as well as New Vegas and its DLC's and to top it off she can interact with the Fertile Breeder and FBCaptured modules. But I'm guessing you can find all that out for yourselves in a bit ;)

I got a problem, i encountert an brainwashed women in the wasteland, the problem is holy her head,hand,feets are visable. the armor she had was combat armor ruined (p7).

 

where can i get the armor and what does (p7) mean?

It should be here, Sexout Clothing System. You only need the meshes and textures. I.o.w., install it using a mod manager, then disable the .esp.

You only need the combat armor. If you are missing this you might be missing other files for SCR. Best to install all those files for future. The other files on that page aren't used by anything that I am aware of.

I'm up to Little Green Devil, and the mod's been working fine for me so far. The only hickup I had was while exploring her dialogue, I checked her maternity clothes options, told her to go with her normal outfit to get out of the menu, a she went naked. Going to her wardrobe got her right again.

Switching maternity clothes should be used when she's actually pregnant. I've made sure she always equips the outfit you've given her through her Wardrobe, except when she's set to "captive" or when she's naked. I'll look into the system a bit more and see if I can find a quick fix.

Was wondering if i could play the Jade plugin if i have completed the mainquest of Fallout 3 and the Broken Steel dlc or would you recommand i start a new game?

 

If you've already completed FO3 and Broken Steel, you'll only miss out on two or three tie-in moments. I believe the game can handle you skipping out on those, but if you want the FULL experience, start a new game and punch through Zeta as soon as possible. The first real interaction is after dear old daddy dies and you reach the Citadel.
