Wanting body mods

Hey everyone. I recently started playing New Vegas and I am enjoying it so far. I would just like to ask about the best/most used body mods with armors to match and what I need to do to put them in the game. I know I'll need the script extender so I got that already but as far as the mods go what will I need to use to install them? Is there an easy to use mod manager like NMM or MO for Skyrim? Also, will I need something like FNIS for animations if I decide I want to use them? Any and all help will be appreciated, and please provide links for ease if possible for myself and others that may have these same questions.

I'm also curious about this as my time with Skyrim starts to wind down (not that I'll ever truly quit). But I've been using the ADEC and ZGGB-R body types mainly and don't even know where to start with body mods that are similar to that one. Do body mods work in a similar style to Skyrim where you choose one and that's what everyone in the game goes with (not that I mind)? What is the most popular body mod that works with armor mods out there? Is replacing armors the same as Skyrim with meshes/texture directories? Or is it a whole different beast?

Most popular body I believe is Type 3. Which would probably be equal to the default UNP.
