I think its time to start new "Amazing mods" thread, since some of them you never look for, but then after you found them can't live without!

 

1. Bodytypes of Skyrim

for those who really want to play Legacy of the Dragonborn (Dragonborn Gallery)

i have made 2048 pixel optimized textures with mipmaps and also 1024pixel texture pack. so its much smaller and your graphicscard can handle it probably. You can find them under downloads on nexus mod page (optimized by ENTSLAVER) So give it a try. and if you still have problems i can make 512 textures, just let me know.

- Hearthfire Extended   various improvements to gameplay with hearthfire.... many things i always wanted

 

And probably many people know but still i need to post it ... also use with Wrye Bash to include in leveld lists.

Battlemages Arcane - some useful spells for the pacifist (mass stagger? Yes please), cool shit for the aggressive.

Free Hug - may cause death, hasn't happened for me. Useful if you're playing a compassionate character. There's freaken combat hugging.

High Quality Eyes - super great if paired with Face To Face Conversation.

iActivate - I know E will harvest this goddamn thistle.

Realistic HD Food - I use the Performance version. Looks so good.

Skyrim Graveyards - cool little places to stumble into.

Order My Items - I'm not getting you 30 fungal pods. Can be paired with Honed Metal.

Logical Trap Damage - because vanilla's a joke.

Sometimes Pick Up Books - to take without reading.

Northborn Scars - makes them look a ton better. See actual depth.

Smarter Water AI - so hostiles follow you through shallows.

Better Vanilla Hairs - Mesh Replacement - subtle but seeable.

Primal Fear - because fire's scary to brains.

Toggle Walk-Run Fix - saves me a reload.

Patron Gods of Skyrim - there really is something for everyone.

 

That's most of mine. Tried to focus on the lesser-known mods.

Jaxonz Real Names - http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/61430/?-  give all those random bandits, forsworn.. even random dragons a lore  friendly name. small thing to do, huge impact on immersion.

thank you for this, next time my thief gets herself knocked up she might now get to know who the daddy is.

 

 

sounds like it happens quite often, might want to get the notes mod to keep track of them all.

Honestly i not really understand how it works ... ive read about it but still too complicated for me :(

 

 

 

you pretty much follow the image tutorial in the page and the program will do all the magick alone

>load papyrus section

>remove unattached instances

>terminate active threads

>remove instances (mark unattached only)

and thats it, most of the time problems related to scripts will be gone

the program shows scripts etc and then opens a window where to copy/paste scripts... i dont understand that... not clear for me what i should do to make it right. :(   much more coplicated then save cleaner... the question is why is it better then save cleaner ?

Immersive Citizens - AI Overhual - scriptless plugin which bring life back to Skyrim must have on any load order

Read Books Aloud - must have on any load order

Master of Disguise - disguise as member of any major faction

Open Cities

Anything from Arthmoor

JanusForbeare's Fighting Words Have a brawl with anyone

Better Stealth AI for Followers

Anything from kryptopyr

Lock Overhaul

Modded Loot will let you create levled list from other mods you have in your load order

Advanced Skyrim Overhaul aka Nature of the beast II

Loot and Degradation

Anything from isoku

Stealth Kills for Followers - Standalone

Bloodthirst - Vampire NPCs can feed

Anything from flexcreator

Fire and Ice Overhaul plus other Apollodown mods. Don't use all of his mods on heavy load orders or it will bog down your system and cause scripted lags. 2-3 on heavy load order is fine

Ultimate Combat - Gothic I & Gothic II style fighting system which depends much on blocking

Other combat mods like TK dodge and TK Combat and Ultimate Dragons from tktk1

Lighting during Thunderstorms - get stricken by a lighting and thunder. When thunder strikes the ground it will cause fire which blends nicely with Fire and Ice Overhaul

OBIS - Organized Bandits in Skyrim plus OBIS LOOT - bandit overhaul something like bandits overhaul from FCOM for Oblivion

Scarcity - Less Loot Mod

This topic is great, I discovered many mods :)

 

Less Loot Mod : Lower chances to get rare loot

Reduced Gold Rewards : If you're tired of getting moutains of gold breaking immersion

No Fast Travel : If you're a real man

Sneak Tools : That throat slitting

Forgotten Dungeons : Clearly there aren't enough dungeons in Skyrim

Skyrim Sewers : Perfect when you're researched for crime or banned from cities (like in Skooma Whore)

Bigger Trees : I couldn't play without it anymore

Dynamic Distant Objects LOD - DynDOLOD

 

This mod is by far the best overhaul of skyrim's LOD currently out for skyrim. its not to popular because it "looks" really technical (watch this video for an installation guide). but believe me after installing it correctly you will never play skyrim without it again.

 

 

 

 

These are simple mods by Erkeil add some population to skyrim. They are very lightweight and all but one have no scripts. 

Populated Cities Towns Villages
Populated Dungeons Caves Ruins
Populated Forts Towers Places
Populated Lands Roads Paths
Populated Skyrim Civil War
Populated Skyrim Prisons Cells
