FNIS loading problems (NMM)

So LL, first time posting, but I read a bunch of what is needed, so I'll provide what information I can.

 

I'm having a rough time modding skyrim, not my first time doing it, but I think last time I simply couldn't figure out where to turn to fix these problems.

 

Edit 21-July: I'm using Nexus Mod Manager to handle this vast amount of mods, as most of my mods come from the nexus.

 

I run FNIS before launching, I use NMM, SKSE, all the things I can figure that I need from reading reliances.

I've run TES5 Edit, BOSS, LOOT, and the patcher for Automatic Variants, and Dual Sheath Redux.

I've deleted all my saves, so there is no bloating from bad saves with unused mods.

 

I'm currently running 177 176 Active mods,

but as of late, Immersive Armours V7 and T3nd0's Skyrim Redone have been the major culprits, but there are additional issues that I'm aware of, but unable to test because of this.

 

Problem narrowed down to FNIS not registering my mods past a certain point, and I don't know how to fix that.

 

 

The current problem is that I get T-posing NPCs at new-game start, causing the gates to never open.

My character is sitting where the driver is supposed to be, but he's half way down into the seat.

Previously with IAv7, I would get crazy cart syndrome.

 

 

I'm using Alternate Start again, and I'm able to get into the game, but T-posing is still happening. (Tails seem to be trying to animate though)

1) use LOOT not BOSS. BOSS is no longer supported

2) to fix the T-Pose run FNIS
3) If you're using HDT-PE, grab Alternate Start - Live Another Life, and skip the vanilla beginning. The carts won't work properly with HDT-PE for some reason.

If you're looking for a guide to help out, my guide in my sig is quite informative, and gives a very good mod setup that is quite immersive. 

It also includes step by step directions, and tips to help keep your game stable.

I'll re-install Alternate Start, and I'll see if that fixes anything.

As I mentioned in the OP, I run FNIS every time I change anything with my mods before I open Skyrim.

 

I will also run LOOT and confirm the re-organization of my mod load order.

Ok, Alternate start is working so far as loading in and letting me save my new character, but T-posing is still happening.

Yes I have run FNIS.

Yes I have confirmed via LOOT my load order.

I have also just cleaned up some of the larger files that had conflicts, to trim anything that may be interfering.

 

I'm unsure of what could be causing the T-posing except for something related to Skyrim Redone, and I'm wondering if anyone can suggest anything, just short of removing Skyrim Redone, and remodifying all other files to not use Skyrim Redone. (Which would be a long and painful process)

SkyRe won't cause a T-Pose. T-Pose is related to the skeleton not having animations. 

This is definitely an FNIS issue. 

Are you running as Administrator? Was it installed properly? Do you have animations installed in the proper places?

Remove skyre it will help. On my system it destroyed saves after 15 to 25 hour without any reason. And the latest update was in 2013.

SkyRe isn't the problem. It is still a viable mod. 

 

Just because a mod hasn't been updated in 2 years, doesn't mean that it doesn't work as intended. 

 

His complaint is about T-Poses, at this point. 

 

T-Poses are not caused by SkyRe in any way, shape, or form, as SkyRe does not alter the skeleton. 

 

This is a skeleton/FNIS issue. Either he hasn't installed FNIS properly, or the skeleton hasn't been installed properly. 

 

Pretty simple, really.

Nothing overwriting the skeleton files from XP32 Maximum Skeleton Extended.

FNIS run, as administrator.

LOOT run, and confirmed.

 

Test: Failure.

I'm not exactly sure how even after re-installing the mods, the system still refuses to work.

I'm afraid I don't understand what I need to do, or more specifically where to do it so FNIS will read all animations that have been added.

I'd also like to add, that after looking through the forums and google, I'm still confused as to what I need to do to fix FNIS.

It seems like there is not a consensus regarding how to force FNIS to register that there are more than just 8 animation mods installed.

 

Oh damn, I just noticed I didn't mention that I'm using Nexus Mod Manager to handle these mods.

Being tired does not make for good reading comprehension, even of my own posts.

 

I'd also like to make sure it's clear that this T-posing has only recently come up, so I've obviously been managing with FNIS until now.

 

It seems like the big problem is that it simply refuses to recognize around half of my mods that contain animations.

So which animation mods can't be registered? Provided that they actually are FNIS dependent mods. An FNIS replacer is NOT an FNIS dependent mod, and will not appear in the FNIS list.

 

And what are your problems??? DETAILS, please. Simply saying "T posing is still happening" is no exploitable information.

I did not say that FNIS can not, I said it is not.

As in, for me, it seems to be failing to load all of my animation mods.

 

I am able to load into Alternate Start, however, once I load in, during the Character creation screen, I see the characters in T-pose immediately. On Argonians and Khajiit the tails still have some movement to them, but it is clearly being heavily restricted.

You're proposing a totally ineffective procedure. Why should someone go through a list of almost 200 mods just to find out IF one could be missed by FNIS? I don't know most of them. But I know that FNIS will properly include all applicable mods when they are properly installed. That's a fact. It looks like most confusion you create is because you think that all mods with animations have to appear in the FNIS window. WRONG.

 

So if you have a problem: describe it. Which character or creature? Under which conditions? Which animations do you expect? What's the most likely mod which is involved?

 

Don't you notice that I'm now the 5th one trying to help you, but no one could give you specific advice so far? Because you don't provide relevant input.

 

Edit: I see a probable issue. You installed PCEA, but you didn't tick the PCEA patch.

I did shorten the list to only my mods that may have animations associated, being approximately 20.

 

The problem appears to be effecting all playable models so far as I can tell, as Alternate start puts you in a cell, so no other NPCs are nearby.

 

I'm well aware that multiple people have tried helping me. I didn't know what to do so I asked for help, and people suggested things I had either already done, or were not clear. I'm being polite, and trying to cooperate, but if I don't know what information is relevant to animations besides FNIS log and my modlist, how am I supposed to know without being told which logs to grab?

 

As for the PCEA tick in FNIS, that seems to have fixed it from what I could immediately tell when I opened the game after ticking it and running FNIS.

 

If I encounter any other animation related issues, would you recommend that I update this thread with the relevant issues to keep forum clutter to a minimum?

THe clutter is not so much in your posts (although it's awfully hard to read). The clutter is in the amount of mods you installed. I don't know about your other mods, but it sounds like you have no clue about animation mods. You installed, installed, and didn't really read the necessary installation instructions. And most of all, you did it BEFORE your character creation. This doesn't make sense. If you are a newcomer, you shouldn't pile up all those mods, and then be surprised that nothing works. 

 

Start with FNIS, SL, and one other. And if you see they work, THEN add things like PCEA and more SL/FNIS dependent mods. You will only be able to provide useful information when you have some reference experience. Presenting huge load lists to start with is always a clear indication that a user has no clue what he's doing.
