I'm sorry for what happened... v3a

She says that about the priest but says she's still in pain or something, I forget the exact line, besides, what do priests know? I'm the Archmage, goddammit!

Good point. Of course, you can become Archmage without ever casting more than one or two spells, and rely entirely on your sword to do the job... but still!

The postal deliveries are good things to do for her but she still seems a little sad, somehow.

Could persuade her that you can take her safely to see her parents, you stay there for a day and then take her back?

Ah! An escort quest! It's undoubtedly possible. A bit beyond my skills, but it shouldn't be too hard to learn... something like suspending her normal AI packages and then adding in a new one for a bit.

She makes the point that she's the equal of any of the men in the mine but maybe a little FONVeronica thing, perhaps she wants just not to wear grimy mining clothes all the time? Take her Noble Robes or equivalent class outfit and she'll accompany you to any inn for a drink and to be seen looking smart.

That's a good idea too. I might end up doing multiple things with her... giving her new clothes, or even a better pickaxe... and I was thinking of inventing a new "bonesetter" healing spell just for her. Or maybe a unique potion you can get from Erandur to give to her. Taking her to an inn is about the same as taking her to see her parents. Possible, and something I'll look at in the future, but not right now. The nearest inn is in Riften (unless you count Redwater Den, but that's not the place you take a nice girl on the first date).

Derkeethus has refused to talk to any of my characters, ever. I don't know why. Does he not like women as that's the only commonality, unless he also hates Khajit, Cat Girls, Imperials, Bimbos, Dark Elves, and High Elves?

I believe he might be a little buggy. I've had some problems with him in the past.

Oh, and about the marriage thing, I used a "marry anyone" mod for Haelga as she's never liked any of my PCs. She has really soppy and cute couple dialogue!

All that front and all she wants is to be loved!

Over and over and over again... ;)

Mjoll doesn't actually travel, but her shadow Aerin wanders back and forth between Riften and my house seemingly randomly, and also gets killed.

Any Devious Marriage mods or quests should create a large chest in the basement of any matrimonial home, and an outfit for him, and he should become The Gimp. Unless him constantly following Mjöll and watching the pair of you in bed is your thing.

I support this.

I can see it happening that my PC would one day find Aerin alone in the house while Mjoll is out on an errand... He wouldn't stand a second and would end up in bondage before one puny yelp crossed his lips... A nice wood bit between his lips... a bit of spittle would be his allotment before she'd 'bury her bone' in his virgin backyard.

Mjoll would come home to Aerin with a DCL Huge Plug, a matching set of leather restraints and tied securely to the bed. My PC would hand Mjoll the keys to his harness and tell her that he can live a worry free life in her hands now.

... I have to write this one properly now... damn it.

Oh, Aerin, come here. I've just creamed Mjoll, and she doesn't want to get pregnant. Be a dear and clean her out, will you? Use that tongue, boy.

I do spells, me... Just found LIGHTNING STORM with a random vendor added by mod, none of the vanilla wizards have it despite being a vanilla spell and that I've been Destruction Master since about level 30. It has the long charge-up, unfortunately, but once going is fkng awesome. It's more like a spaceship weapon from a scrolling shooter than a FP game. Or a BFG.

Ah, yes. Hadn't thought about it like that. Escort missions suck balls in any game (the ones in the original release of X-Wing were the very worst I've had to do though). I was more interested in helping her get back to her folks. Maybe not then. I wouldn't object to FT it, the point is she gets home. Maybe the quest could FT you there (fade out at Shor's Stone, fade in at Darkwater) as the escort really isn't the point, or desirable.

Again, destination, not journey, is the point. Choose an inn via dialogue and fade out, fade in(n). Seated bar conversation could be steered towards marriage. And maybe her thoughts on taking her mum as a follower. or house slave. or milk slave. or soulgem farm.

With a horker tusk.

She needs an extra dialogue line for if you show up with a mammoth tusk in your inventory...

I know, right? I think there's actually only one merchant in the world who can sell that spell (faralda at COW...?) and I love it. It uses up mana at a massive rate, but there's no better weapon for bringing dragons down out of the sky. :)

It wouldn't be too hard to make the escort easier, though... just make her essential or protected until she arrives, increase her base speed, that sort of thing.

I hadn't thought about fade in and fade out + teleport. Much easier. :)

Sylgja, have you thought about how nice it would be to have a ready supply of milk and soul gems? And a maid to boot?

Why, no I haven't. How could such a thing be accomplished?

Well, you know your mum? Think seriously about this question... how important is she to you? I mean, really?

Totally!

Is that a mammoth tusk in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me?

Hmm... I thought there were no spears in Skyrim.

Ah, the standard-issue Adventurer's Ten Foot PoleTM. How delightful.

Okay, now I know this will probably be shot down, but perhaps you could make an add-on for Interesting NPCs?

Like, "I'm sorry your sister slapped the pretty out of you. I think I'd still scissor you."

I'll think about it. I haven't really used Interesting NPCs much, but there are a lot of people who really like it. The problem is I don't have very much time for playing, so finding NPCs who fit the bill in a mod that extensive would be a pretty long-term process. :)

Why does the esp include overrides of DialogueSolitude and DialogueWindhelm?

Probably because it links in to those dialogues. It's been a while since I opened it up.

Nilsine in Solitude and Neetrenaza of Windhelm are the only two NPCs that are affected by it, so those are probably the two bits of dialogue changed or added to.

EDIT: And Elisif too.

So they're just ITMs introduced by the CreationKit?

I guess so? At least, I'm pretty sure my edits wouldn't show up as such. This mod alters lots of dialogue, and the others aren't showing up as ITMs.

If it's an ITM, it's probably safe to delete. Strange, I thought I cleaned it before uploading - I always try to. Must have forgot this one.
