Bodyslide crashes everytime I try to load armor

Using New Project, I am trying to take a cbbe armor and add switch it to cbbe hdt but after entering all the info in the window I hit finish making Bodyslide begin to load the armor to about 80% and then I get a message saying Bodyslide has quit working and must shut down. I have installed it and am running it through Mod Organizer, it starts fine and creates the bodies as it should, the problem seems outfit studio related (more like operator error probably)

I tried loading the armor by itself and that worked, after deleting the body I then tried loading a reference body and got the same stopped working crash. Is there a problem using the cbbe hdt body as reference? I am actually using the body in game.
