.: F.A.Q.
What is Bodyslide?
It's a software by Caliente that conforms armor to CBBE body types. First the armor must be converted to default CBBE body using Bodyslide Outfit Studio.

How do I use LUSH Body or other body replacers?
Download and install via Nexus or unzip contents into your Skryim game directory.

How do I convert vanilla armor to fit LUSH or other body replacers?
Search Nexus for keywords 'Bodyslide' and 'CBBE' (or your preferred body replacer). Download and install. For LUSH Body or other CBBE body replacers, install in the order below. These mods will ensure you get boob and ass bounce. Be sure to run FNIS after installing any animations (See FNIS FAQ).

0) Install latest SKSE (Google Skyrim Script Extender)
1) Realistic Ragdoll and Force by dDefinder1
2) FNIS Behavior by fore, followed by any custom animations
3) Caliente Beautiful Bodies Edition(CBBE) by Caliente
4) XP32 Maximum Skeleton by xp32
5) HDT Physics Extension by HydrogensaysHDT
6) Caliente Bodyslide by Caliente
7) Bodyslide Compatible Outfit Packs such as Remodeled Armor for CBBE by chronotrigger77
8) CBBE LUSH (this) or any CBBE body replacer with Bodyslide.
9) Run FNIS, run LOOT.

Run Bodyslide, then do the following:

1) Open Bodyslide
2) In "Outfit/Body", select CBBE Body HDT.
3) In "Preset", select your preferred body preset (CBBE LUSH, etc...). Play with sliders and save your body.
4) In "Outfit/Body", select your armor then click "Build"
-OR-
5) Click the magnifying glass next to "Group Filter", then click "Choose Groups"
6) Click the groups your armor belong to, click ok.
7) Click "Batch Build". Unselect any bodies that you see (i.e. CBBE Vanilla, CBBE Slim, etc..) then click ok.

.: COMPATIBILITY
Anything for CBBE and Bodyslide. However, as with any outifts that have been converted to CBBE, some clipping issues may occur. Please notify me if you see this.

.: NON-COMPATIBILITY
Some clipping can occur with custom animations during movement. Some of this is due to wrong skeleton installed and some of this is HDT bone weight issues which I may or may not be able to fix.

NOTE: Any clipping with standard animation or when standing still is a bug so please notify me.

I really love the Valkyrie Shard one, but there's a detail that I don't like about it. The boots remove the feet meshes, and since they're translucent, you can see exactly where they "vanish".

I have no problem with the feet being removed as long as the armor looks nice overall, but that kinda bugs me. I'd keep the feet (if they don't clip with those clawlike boots too badly) or add something exactly where the leg-foot union was so it doesn't look so abrupt, or maybe make the texture opaque right there in the boots.

Also, I liked most of your armors a lot, so I merged all the esp files into one. I saw you actually separated some of the outfits into different downloads, but maybe you could add a merged esp to avoid getting like 6 extra files in the load order.

The file was getting too big to add more updates and some people were asking to split it, so I did. Not to mention Nexus admins threatened to ban me (which they did anyways). I'm too lazy to merge (aka don't know how the easy way). Can you PM me the merged ESP and I'll credit you?

Human feet is much larger than ValkyrieShard claw feet. They stick out quite a bit and the way the texture is rigged up I can't tell which part covers the feet so I have no idea which part to mask out transparency. I'll look into it again.

Thanks for downloading.

Yup. Some overly sensitive cunt ran to the admins after I blocked him from my downloads. He questioned the validity of ValkyrieShard. I removed the armor from the pack then blocked his ass. I didn't need some wannabe SJW eyeballing everything I upload so I blocked him. They banned me without even checking if the armor was removed.

I said it in Nexus and I say it again here, nice work!

I was checking there for the piercings pack but your stuff dissappeared from Nexus overnight... I guess the typical story with them? <_<

I sent you the merged file already.

Well, too bad for them. Honestly, this site is half-made of people who got kicked out of Nexus for stupid reasons, and it's really popular, so it's not like they did anything that would keep your files out of reach. It sucks nevertheless, when you gotta deal with idiots.

On the Valkyrieshard boots, isn't there some way to... apply some transparency gradient mask to the feet, or something like that? The only thing that I don't like is the fact that the feet look so abruptly cut. If the boots made the legs turn transparent as they get close to the feet, that would look much better. The simplest solution (other than ignoring the issue, lol) seems to me to add some non-translucent patch to the texture right where the feet dissapear, so that you can't see the "cut".

Another thing that I noticed when adapting some weights is that many of your files have a "baseshape" included, in boots, gauntlets and so on. I didn't notice any issue in the game, but I'm a bit curious as to what happens with this. I assumed that if you equip two items that include a body mesh, you'd get "both" worn at the same time and that this could cause some issues, for example you'd have them clipping if the bodies had a different shape (I got two presets, one has flat nipples to avoid weird shapes in some outfits). Am I mistaken? since I'm adapting the weights for the outfits I like, I can erase these meshes without problems, but I don't want to break things.

Finally, the weight issues that I was talking about, I though they had something to do with my main body and HDT settings, but after checking the nif files I've noticed that there are some discrepancies between the weighting on the base body and some of the meshes. For example, the Corrupter Armor has the proper belly weighting only on the body shape, but not on the piercing straps that are attached over the stomach.

I hope you don't think I'm annoying with my posts, sigh.

Yeah I do gradients on some of my armors. But those you can tell which portions are feet, body, etc. VShard texture is one big wallpaper with some scriggles. I can't tell what part belongs to the feet. I've had success before mapping a color number grid and seeing in game what numbers pop up on which body part. I've just been too lazy to go through that again. I may eventually get to it. If it really bugs you, open the boots in nifskope and delete alpha node. That will remove the transperancy.

Not annoying at all. It's good to share info since most of everything is trial and error.

In earlier SetA pack I forgot to save the Bodyslide file without reference shape. This was fixed in v1.4 and later versions. As far as I know, baseshape is only applied by the game when the armor is desgnated as body slot. Anything else, baseshape is deactivated. I played two months before I realized my error in Bodyslide and I had no problems that I could tell.

As for bone weight, I may have forgot to copy bone weights on some armors. Or if I didn't see any problems in game then I may have not bothered to. Since I've never used pregnancy body, many of the armors probably has belly weight missing. I just started modding a month ago so I'm still new to all this. If people don't bring up problems, then I'm usually not aware of having done something wrong.

To be honest I don't even know the difference between TBBP and HDT. I just read somewhere people prefer HDT so I used CBBE HDT as reference shape and advertise as such. Gah I'm such a noob.

In case you didn't know, you can export a texture template of a mesh if you go to Nifskope, right-click on the NiTriShape and go to the "Texture" section. I find it useful to locate the parts to recolor for messy textures.

As a fun fact, precisely yesterday I used this to recolor a weapon I found and I just had to add to my game... a dildo sword. Called "Meatstick". It's somewhere in these forums, but not part of a download. Unfortunately, it wasn't hilarious enough so I switched the texture to glowing pink, lol.

Nobody is a noob here. You did a very good job, and it's understandable to forget things when you convert so freaking many armors. So that's what we're here for, to use your stuff and tell you what we find. And enjoy the booty, of course. :P

I didn't know that about the body, but it does make sense. It's actually a very useful piece of information because sometimes it's hard to tell in BodySlide how well a non-body piece fits since most of them don't include a body mesh. I'll experiment a bit with that.

The difference between TBBP and HDT, mesh-wise, is nothing special. Both things are simply bone weights that are applied to a mesh. The real difference is the way they're used. TBBP is used through animations, while HDT is used through game physics. Basically, the first one gets the boob jiggle "premade", you gotta install animation packs that have it, otherwise you won't get any effect. HDT uses the game's own physics emulation to get stuff "subjected" to gravity, so as long as the mesh/skeleton supports it and you installed the scripts, you will get jiggles regardless of the animations.

They use different bone weights so they don't interfere with each other (and if you got HDT AND TBBP enabled animations, your boobs don't bounce like baskeballs, lol). As you probably understand already, people tend to prefer HDT simply because it's easier to use, generally more realistic, and you aren't limited to certain animation packs.

Keep the good work!

Cool! Thanks for the info. I'll check out nifskope.

edit: that nifskope texture thing sure is handy!! Now if there was a way to Bodyslide copy bone weights without corrupting the nif file!!!

Bodyslide corrupting weights?

Now that you mention it, I got a couple error messages when I tried to open one of your meshes in Nifskope, after I had copied the bone weights. That doesn't usually happen, though. The problem must be on the mesh itself, or maybe Outfit Studio is messing with something in those meshes in particular, but it's not something entirely related to BodySlide, or else it would happen all the time. I've opened plenty of meshes in Nifskope after tinkering with their weights on OS, and never got errors. Maybe you should ask in the BodySlide conversion thread, I bet that this is not the first time it happens.

Yeah it's something to do with Outfit Studio and PC systems. I read in one of the threads here it corrupts the nif when copying bone weights. The plus side is it still seems to work in game. I don't have a work around since I can't afford a Mac.

Link to comment

Well, I use a PC and I can tell you that Outfit Studio isn't corrupting most of the armors I tweak, and I've tweaked some. I don't think the issue is entirely related to Outfit Studio, but that doesn't mean that the mesh has an issue, either. It could also be that there's something in the mesh that isn't entirely compatible with Outfit Studio, something that isn't a bug.

A starting point to find out what's wrong could be to check the corrupted file in NifSkope and compare it to one that isn't corrupted, also take a look at any error message there. If the file had stuff like NiTriStrips, for example (not saying it has), that would cause issues in Outfit Studio, but in theory it would still work in the game.

I've noticed the latest version of Bodyslide corrupts some but not everything I've worked on. The earlier SetA versions I was using a older Bodyslide which caused a lot of corruption when I copied bone weights. I have no idea if it was the software or the nif I was working with. Unfortunately I didn't notice the corruption and didn't back up before copying weights. It's too much work to re-convert and since it still works in game, I'm not going to redo it anytime soon.

ValkyrieShard patch is up. Thanks much to your info.

Lots of great conversions, interesting zap sliders too :)

post-134589-0-46453300-1418596518_thumb.jpg

I'm gonna start with some bug reports:

  • Firebutterfly: Belt Zap - attached spikes persist
  • LoveMoon Negligee: Skirt Zap - flowers on the side persist
  • CombatPrincess: Zapping the Belt + Skirt shows clipping on the remaining panty
Link to comment

Thanks. I'll look into them. Breaker Set has one of my favorite gauntlets and boots. Doom Breaker (black) also looks nice with Magicmoon Corset Black (zapped) + Firebutterfly panty

edit: All bugs squashed and patches up. For LoveMoon, I did a dirty remove of hip flowers (move inside body). I wanted to leave the chest flower because I noticed the bra cups were missing the center string to hold them together. Best to leave that flower in place to hide the gap.

May i ask where these are from? Because i don't want to get banned on Nexus Imageshare again for showcasing ported content.

Love the screens! Breaker Set is banned from Nexus. You may be able to post screens but don't reference it to LL. I'm not sure.

Thanks for the bug report.

Works good so far. The Firebutterfly has problems with HDT butt jiggle on the leather pants.

And a couple of outfits (probably from lingerie pack) with several layers of transparency are problematic, because the layers randomly disappear depending on camera angle.

Thanks for the bug report.

Regarding transperancy, I've read this is a game engine limitation. It's not designed to stack multiple transperancies which some of my stuff has (panties + dress). I could be wrong, but I don't know how to fix this.
