Just tried this, love it very much. Pity there's no armor value though, "Tentacle Armor(Legendary)" sounds great.

Like many others, would also love to have the ability for the armor to fuck you randomly, and/or serving as a vibrator/plug to randomly raise arousal.

It actually has! Find my post in page 10, I made a light and heavy armor version, with crafting recipes included!

I think making an bodyslide version would remove you a lot of work.
