Mjana's Labyrinth: dead version (no longer supported)

how are you, or where are you, finding all the

dungeon/adult type objects in the CK ?

The filter box is your friend :)

 

Just type shackle into the filter box (be sure "ALL" is selected at the bottom of the item list), and anything containing the word shackle will show up for you to choose from :)

I would like to help. The only problem is i am fairly new to this. i made some pretty wc3 maps back in the day, but this is the first time i attempt something in a 3D editor (well not entirely, i work with catia for technical drawings but i guess that does not count).

 

So i have a few quick questions before i begin:

 

1. Am i correct that can use both: dangerous dungeon maps and leisure rooms?

 

2. How many exits/links to other stuff should basic a dungeon have? 2? In and out. or maybe 3? In, out(to the worldmap) and further into the dungeon?

 

3. (this one is a little tricky to explain) In the editor i have problems to find an option to be farther away from the plane i am working on. So when i put in a wall for example, zoom out (with the mousewheel) to see more then just this wall and then place another wall, the 2nd one is some distance above the other one and right in my face again. Is there any way to change this?

To answer your questions:

 

1. I prefer that only creation kit objects be used, so external mods will be kept to a minimum when the adult stuff starts to materialize. For map mods, my only requirement is that there be only one entrance/exit into the Menagerie adventure hub in the NW corner of the zone (it's every available opening in the NW wing). A door will be linked to your cell once I review/playtest your file. So be sure to build with a copy of the Mjanas_Labyrinth .esp set as your active file (don't use your original to save yourself some potential headaches). So build what you wish, as dangerous or "adult" as you wish :cool:

 

2. See #1 ;)

 

3. For parts placement, simply double-click the piece and use the XYZ adjustments to fine-tune your assembly.

 

In other news, keep an eye on my original post. It was a good morning of construction, so I have a little surprise for you :D

Hi, had a look around Falls View and The Menagerie and found a few potential issues.

 

The guards outside Falls View seem a bit cowardly, "I'm getting out of here" followed by fleeing was what happened when I turned up and a Troll spawned behind the house!

 

In the Menagerie Guard Hilda has a male voice despite being obviously female in any language, especially Braille. :D

 

The large cart down the stairs to the right of the Menagerie entrance has what looks like an Argonian constantly falling through the seat in a loop.

 

Haven't found any other issues as yet, looks like it's going to be a fun place to visit!

Thanks for the report Tom. I think Hilda's problem is she is confused about her sexuality :P

 

Seriously though, I made a booboo when adding her AI, and duplicated her. And I think I may have deleted the wrong one LOL.... when you add an npc, they come pre-loaded with a male voice regardless of their sex. I think the argonian was another oops. I may have forgotten to move him when I turned the cart. The guards outside FallsView will be dealt with as well. I may have to increase their level. Trolls are definitely higher than level 1 LOL. Or it could be an AI mismatch. From your list, it sounds like just a few tweaks are all that's necessary. I'll be sure they're addressed in the next update. Thanks again for the report.

you'll be pleased to hear that I just watched Guard Ronin decimate a vampire, her thrall, and two wolves after I shouted down the path toward Fort Amol LOL

 

The pesky argonian is also moved away from the cart area :)

 

I did a quick run back to the Inn door, to learn that Guard T'Vala is also confused about her sexuality :P

 

This and more will be included in the next update, probably in a day or two ;)

Damn! Talk about a kick in the teeth....

 

Got stopped dead in my tracks after about 16 hours of work, putting in a "specialty version" of The Blue Palace, when I playtested the finished cell, only to find this had happened to about half of the zone:

This cell soooo sucks ass to work with. There must be 50 windows, all with external lighting source references inside and out, which all have to be manually removed, npcs that have to be removed, and npc reference markers all over the damn place. So it's back to the drawing board.

 

For the rest of tonight I'm gonna get piss drunk and have a look at what new armor mods have been released in the past few days :P

 

But rest assured, I'll be back at it tomorrow :D

since you copied the palace cell you sure you don't have a portal issue? Looks like it to me.

 

You're probably right' date=' but I decided to go with another cell for the Inn. Blue Palace also has a gazillion reference markers, that have to be deleted, or you get mega errors that cause the CK to lag horrendously.

 

I may try to use it again in the future (once I learn all the shortcuts for removing things en masse).

I use my personal ISP webspace (which isn't much) for pictures related to my mod, and I don't have any dump accounts to upload the file to. However, I'm sure if you asked nicely for a Mediafire re-upload in the What mod is this thread, someone would up it for you pretty quickly. Sorry I couldn't help.

OK, I admit, up front that I am an idiot.

 

However, were is "falls view" on the map? I have both esp's installed, but in my current game, I have so many map markers already uncovered I cannot seem to see it marked anywhere - of it is marked.

 

And if not, then any way someone could clue me in as to where to look?

You only need one installed. If you install both the doors get kinda messed up.

Errr dang it how do you do the spoiler thing again? Think northeast on your trip around the big mountain from Whiterun. (ya'll don't shoot me for that ok) you should see it "around" there.

You only need one installed. If you install both the doors get kinda messed up.

Type "coc fallsview" in the console for a port inside, then walk out and look at your map :)

I added the labyrinth esp yesterday to my mods but it was like when I start the game it goes like between 2 to 3 minutes and my game ends up crashing. Can't seem to figure out why it would do that. I added it in right and everything

 

You "added" it?

 

As in you have the FallsView .esp installed as well?

 

Tom, I've gotten very few reports of that issue, but I'll have another look. I'm going to be updating again soon, so hopefully if I find nothing wrong with the markers, the update will resolve the issue for you.

 

Luther, short answer? No.

 

Long answer? I don't want to spend more time running around the web looking for issue reports, and providing support than I do actually evolving the mod. This mod is going to be massive. With many levels and sub-levels for just about anything you can think of, in both the adult and adventure departments. Given the scope, I'd prefer it stay exclusive to Lovers Lab. If Nexus wasn't so anal about posting links to this forum, I'd post it there for download straight away.

I'd love it' date=' but I have a feeling the level 50+ guards would kill it as soon as they saw it :P

 

I have something special in mind already, [b']IF[/b] what I want to try works. It will require a small external mod, but if it works, it will be well worth the download ;)

 

About to test the next update.... if all goes well, I'll post the new file a bit later. Theres still some minor stuff to do, but I'm anxious to see the reaction to Redlight Palace :D

Finally got fed up, typed "coc..." and had a look around.
