A Crash to Desktop (CTD) occurs the moment Potema's door opens after defeating the assorted Draugr.

Quest: "The Wolf Queen Awakens"

Papyrus log mentions "SexLabAroused" which was not required at the time of mod installation and has never been installed during this playthrough.

i see a damaged sl submit installation there and multiple pregnancy mods all affecting that playthru, but the final killer is DraugrFXScript as you're loading into an area now which has draugur in it, suggest re-instal submit and find what mod has DraugrFXScript in it to fix that or remove it if no fix available

This problem is when you have change body , not vanilia. You must find fix mod on Nexus. I have Naked Potema mod and no CTD.

I'm sorry, but I did not understand what you said. To the best of my knowledge, I have no "Naked Potema mod" downloaded.

 

I did a searc for "Naked Potema mod" to try and elucidate what you were saying, and turned up this page. Unfortunately, everyone who experiences this issue is left in the lurch, because the same person who distributed a fix to repait a CTD issue decided to prevent people from being able to download and use the fix. Thankfully, another Potema CTD fix mod attempts to address the issue. I have not yet tested it, but here's hoping it performs as promised.

So, are you suggesting I reinstall SexLab Submit? I will attempt that, although when I disabled it and attempted defeating Potema, the same crash still occurred.

The multiple pregnancy mods should be modules of a single "Children+SoulGems" mod.

I am unaware what mod uses "DraugrFXScript". I will continue to test my mods, but is there a way of determining this information for certain from the files themselves?

 

Unfortunately, reinstalling SexLab Submit had no effect.

 

UPDATE: This obscure mod, [Potema CTD Fix], has prevented the CTD from occurring. Unfortunately, it does not explain the underlying issue of why the error occurred, even when the mods it purports to remedy are simply disabled. Therefore, this is not technically a solution, but is instead more like a bandage for a problem which still exists.

Well, you're getting a call to sex with draugr. What's up with that? :P DraugrFXScript. Also, you're using a mod that requires Aroused. Been too long since I used Submit to remember if Aroused is a prerequisite for Submit or not. Perhaps uninstall (deactivate?) Submit just to see if you get through fine. If it works each time you try it, then Submit needs a missing file, or it's conflicting with something, or...something like that. Seems unlikely Submit would mess that quest up though, unless you're trying to use it there, and it's damaged or missing files.

 

You're apparently also missing another master file: XFLMain.esm. Not sure what mod has it.

 

Also, I believe what CliftonJD is saying is you is you is a file in Submit is either damaged (unlikely but not impossible) or has been overwritten by another mod (do you use Mod Organizer? ...you should). If you install mods manually or with NMM then reinstalling Submit may cause a different problem and send you on a goose chase to find out which mod was overwriting which file.

 

And yes, DraugrFXScript is the final blow that sends you to desktop.[Active effect 1 on (0009889B)].DraugrFXScript.OnGetUp() - "DraugrFXScript.psc" Line 64 Are you trying to rape a dead draugr or something?? :D A not working sex call to a draugr, and a failed GetUp, after defeating them...

 

Btw, I've had a crash problem in the same place too, so this has me interested. Doesn't always happen, but it has happened. Never really investigated it. Also didn't read the entire log. Not enough time. Shouldn't even be awake still. :P

The Potema CTD Fix Mod does explain the underlying issue of why the error occurred and how it deals with it, both on it's description page and in the included ReadMe

This is a simple fix for those who get the dreaded CTD during the Wolf Queen Quest. It is caused by changes to the Jarl outfit she is wearing by other mods. Instead of removing the offending mod(s) I chose to remove the outfit from Potema instead.

Simply drop this esp into the Skyrim Data Folder, make sure it's activated before your next playtime and poof ... No CTD

This also makes clear why it's called generally called the Naked Potema Fix.

Another mod you have may have simply altered the Vanilla Jarl Outfit say the

SOS - Revealing Armors.esp

All this took me 5 minutes to figure out and I used no other information than what was provided, generally by actually reading the mod info you can understand it's purpose.

It solves the direct issue without affecting the offending mods in any other way, which restoring the Jarl outfit to vanilla would do by restoring every Jarl's outfit in the game, stripping Potema of the Crash causing outfit, affects only Potema alone.

It's an appropriate fix for this specific bug.
