***Right now I too sleeply to review this that I'll just let it be as the Google translate***

The CK came out next week *praying hard to the God of games to be true* then I believe its the right time to start this for real.

This is a [W.I.P.] and will take a long time to be turn into a real thing if I were to do everything on my own, so any kind of help is more than welcome :)

So far it has only the story read and will be keep like that untill I have learned how to deal with CK and SKSE.

First of: I not a modder. I do played around whit CS from Oblivion but it was never anything that big. And I'm working adult. I can only play and make mods on weekends.

Secund: I need help. Really. It can be just point me out to mods that could do some of the things on the list - a script, a mesh, an animation file, a texture, a voice file, etc. or make yourself part of that project.

Why is it on the "Adult Molds" thread? Simple, it will make use of any sex system for Skyrim and turn them into a commun part of the married life so that way you can had sex whitout if fell like a porn game.

Here is what I had in planning stage:

Real Life - Enhanced Marriage, Adoption, Maternity / Paternity.

-> Possibility to buy a shop where the spouse can sell the items collected on adventures or forged / created by the player - this option will only be available if the player has the perk "Merchant";

-> Possibility to extend the house with a room for children and / or teens - item that will be required to allow the player to adopt a teenager or have your own babies;

-> Ability to adopt a child in the orphanage Riften - only after you have completed the quest "Lost Innocense" whether you have joined Dark Brotherhood or not (the old lady Grelod not allow children to be adopted);

-> Possibility of having their own biological children (babies) - only available if the player is already married (this option could be custumisable, allowing it to be active or inactive);

-> Ability to interact with biological children (babies) through an animated and a menu-style "craft station" that will allow "Changing diapers / clothes," "food", "bathing", "storytelling" or "play" - always taking into account whether the player has the items issued from inventory, the same way that occurs with any forges;

-> Ability to interact with the adopted children (adolescents) through dialogue options which range from providing "food" to send go "study" or "sleep";

-> Adding items for children in "Leveled List" of the merchants;

-> Implementation of a system that will consider divorce if the couple has children and / or trade in the time to establish "ownership" of items and the children - taking into account that the player is not all the time at home, child custody will be given to the spouse but all forms interaction of the player will remain with their children - they just change to the home of the NPC. The store will also be the only NPC that profit

daily the player will be expanded dramatically - depending on the level and the items that were placed in the store during the marriage, otherwise the store begins to function like any other;

-> Considering the possibility that the player could give the house where he lived with his "family" to the spouse in the case of divorce;

-> New Items: various clothes for teens, clothing for infants, food for babies, books of fairy tales for children, books study, stuffed animals, wooden weapons, wooden horses, children's furniture (cribs, swings, tables and chairs);

-> Increased diversity of hair for teens;

-> Function implementation "sex" (when available) as part of the routine of the couple, providing a bonus to the player having sex with her spouse - the bonus will be higher if the act is consummated in the couple's home;

-> "Marital Status" - buff that gives the player greater "credibility" with the NPCs with high morality;

-> Small quests given by the spouse, "teach Sparks to the teenage daughter", "One-Hand train with his teenage son", "read a story to the baby", " take the dog for a walk", "get an Ingot Iron and two Ore Malachit to fix the window","get 6 Firewood, 4 Leek, 4 Raw Beef, 4 Tomatoes for dinner", "Get 5 Wolf Pelt to do new clothes for the children", etc... all of which are generated through the Radiant Story;

-> Possibility of domestic animals - such as "non-combatant" - to give as gifts to the children;

-> Possibility of practicing "adultery" with married NPCs and have consequences for being "caught in the act" if the NPC's responsibility too is high, it may challenge the player to a duel, if its too low, the NPC may hire mercenaries - or even a Dark Brotherhood when dealing with a nobleman - to "teach" a lesson to the player;

-> Possibility of a player's infidelity bear fruit (a.k.a children or sexual illness);

-> Improved AI to make NPCs to react as expected to a "married person with children";

-> Best interaction with NPCs and the player's chidren;

-> New animations;

If you are a modder and fell like to board, be my guest!

Any suggestions are welcome too!!!

You know, more that Enhanced Marriage, I think I'd like Better Courtship. Currently it works like this:

NPC: You're wearing an Amulet of Mara

PC: I am. Are you interested?

NPC: You bet! I'll meet you in the chapel in Riften tomorrow morning. Don't be late or all my brothers and uncles will come round your house and break your arms and legs for you.

PC: Hey! Whatever happened to "dinner and a movie first?"

It'd be nice to have to do some shared activities first. Go see some local sights, pick out a present for your intended, maybe some heavy petting in the halls of the dead after Andurs has turned in for the night, that sort of thing.

It'd be nice to be able to play the field a bit as well; romance more than one potential partner at a time, or even serially.

I really happy to know you guys like the ideia!

@DocClox

I totally agree on that! I was thinking on make the PC/NPC spend some time before the could get married. On the other hand, if the PC keep out home to so long, he/she could get in troubles with his/her lovely family, like the wife had an affair or the husband come after the PC really mad xP

@Quemon

Welcome to board!

@Redimpaler777

Those are good radiants for the married couple and would make then a real family :)

@All

If everything went well with CK, by next weekend I will start to play around and see can be done first! I most sure that the easy part should be fix the possibility to divorce without have to kill/ressurect your lover - and, if we're luck, the way NPC react to the player wear the Amulet of Mara ^.^

The whole thing about "have sex with your lover" will have to wait untill a stable sex system is created - as you guys are really fast, I specting it won't take to long. My hope is that will be as good as LoversPK for Oblivion, that way I will need only integrat my mod to it xP

Something else to think about is a D/s relationship between the PC and the spouse, like a DD relationship. Before marrying any NPC there could be dialog options that hint at each NPC's personality (if they have D/s tendencies, and which way they lean or if they are vanilla). That way the player could "interview" the prospective spouse and tailor the marriage to their tastes.

If the player is the sub they could conceivably get into trouble by spending too much time questing without stopping by the house in between/ adultry/ if the PC joins the thieves guild and the spouse learns of this and has strong views against the thievs guild (assuming that the W/H isn't a member)/ shouts: the W/H knows that the PC is the dragonborn but doesn't like the PC relying too much on what he/she views as "unnatural" and harbors a minor fear (uneasiness really) that if shouts are used too often the dragonborn could be warped by the magic into some horrible monster...unless the player is running an evil character, then it's a moot point and wouldn't really be an issue. The spouse wouldn't even have to be present for this one, since dragons attack towns and word would get back home that the PC shouted a dragon to death.

If the PC is the dom... hmmmmm, maybe the spouse spent too much money/didn't have a meal ready on time/adultry ("that'll teach the dragonborn to leave me for weeks on end")...I know there are a lot of ways the NPC could earn punishments, but it's 4 a.m. and I think my brain melted. Well, that and I am more interested in playing a sub character.

If the animations were possible (I have no idea what can be done) then I think that spanking, whipping, caneing, and paddling would fit the world, since back in the old days it was pretty common to punish your wife. There could be other types of punishment also, I just can't think of any off hand.

All in all I would love to have action/consequence spankings in the game, and it would fit a marriage mod. I just don't know if it is doable.

Sorry for any misspellings and typos if any. Melted brains make spell checking nearly impossible. Night...err, morning everyone! *drags self off to bed*

I must admit alot of these ideas are very good.

I love the idea of your Wife, or Husband to open up a shop to sell all of your loots.

Making babies would be interesting( Adding in the whole popping out a baby might be odd to watch in skyrim :P), however I dislike the chance of getting any type of STD. That would make me want a new character, unless it could be cleansed by the "Genital God" or something.

Pets would be fun as well. Maybe having pets that would fight with you also. Sometimes im not in the mood to haul around another person. A dog, or wolf would be much quieter than Lydia.

New dialogs. also would be nice some of them are a bit... Arrow in the kneeish right now.

New animations. The ones right know are kind of "Arrow in the Face..." they just look off IMO.

All-in-all I like your ideas.

STD's ought to be treated just the same as any other disease. Either you cure 'em with a potion... or you go to one of the shrines. That's assuming that they're in at all. Which I couldn't care less about one way or the other personally.

I think it's a bit of realism. And a pain in the ass.

But it's really a horse-a-piece there.

As for relationships, I think there's room for ALL KINDS of kinks and quirks when it comes to them. Especially with players making custom NPC's.

I can see it now. Bring your Khajiit wife a ball of yarn... she's all over you. Bring your alchemist hubby some rare ingredient and he's so excited he takes you right there on the alchemy table.

There's tons of room to work with the characters, as long as someone is developing characters.

The really important business right now is to create a framework... an improved, overarching system in which 'courtship' and 'marriage' are just the beginning.

I'm actually quite excited to see where you folks go with this.

I'm going to have to keep a close eye on it.

Hi guys,

I just got my hands on CK this morning and now I on hell of fight to make it work smooth on my half-good notebook.

As I still try make it not burn up my notebook, I woun't be working on the mod untill next weekend. Sorry guy.

The STD isn't a commum disease and will need a special cure disease potion that will be sold by all alchemist merchant - only a little more expenssive.

All the animation will be done last 'cause I hope to use the same ones used on the sex system - if everything work well, I planning to add a "dating progression quest" that player would need to complete before he/she can get married.

Ps.: I'm a teacher. I work like mad on all week - sometimes even on weekend. So that mod will go REALLY slow. If someone is willing to help, be my guest. If another modder alread did some of the things that are featured on this mod, please tell me so that I can ask him/her if I can use it.

I like the ideas of this mod. I would like to offer some advice.

Assume that there'll be a central sex resource packet in the future to handle the sex, STD, D/s and such. Assume that and focus on the marriage / courtship mechanics.

This way the mod will feel less huge.

This is official: this project will be put on hold from some time.

First of, this doesn't seem to be liked by you guys - most because its may be too early for this kind of mod.

Second of, I'm get a lot of work to be done on RL so I little short of time to deal with this.

Once a stable sex system is released, I will take this project back on track.

Sorry and thanks for your time.

I don't think there was any dislike for this idea just maybe lack of interest. Personally I like the idea if you ever made it I would use and I think you would get more interest here and at nexus if done well.

I agree. I think that the biggest setback your mod faces right now is the lack of a functional sex system around which to work. Without knowing how things are going to be done, it's difficult to really judge how your own mod will work once things get on track.

But that by no means translates to dislike!

I for one am still very much looking forward to seeing what you come up with, once things are back on track.

Don't get discouraged. We're all a little annoyed with the time it's taking to get properly situated with the new game... but the kinks will get sorted out before you know it.

I think we can well do without babies and such...and any weirdness around diseases. that is just weird. There are plenty of ways to expand the courtship and marriage and sharing, basically the wife should become a follower and companion with all those functions automatically. Fight together as well as play together.

I would also like to hop on the encouragement bandwagon. I really like the ideas that are floating around here (and on other threads). I may not post often, but I do wander in on a regular basis, and since I have no clue as to how to mod I don't mind being patiant. Take your time and have fun with it, if you do it could turn out better then you may expect.

And, perhaps even more important than my encouragement, I'm going to keep talking in this topic and make sure that it stays visible-ish and current!

So, for today's comment, I'm going to start by arguing that I -like- the idea of eventually being able to have kids. And a small, unobtrusive possibility of disease. Particularly because I'm a roleplayer, and I play all of my characters as close to being realistic as the game and universe will allow.

Sure, he may cleave open skulls and call down dragons to feast upon his foes, but at the end of the day 'Hjorgmund Snow-Beard' still wants to go home, tuck his kids in, and go to bed with his wife.

That being said, it's not something I would expect to arise FIRST from this mod.

Those things are bonuses, to be dangled out there for folks to enjoy once the system itself is designed. Getting rid of the 'insta-marriage' method already in place and entertaining some manner of courtship and engagement would be far more important in the grand scheme.

And I think lots of folks can relate with that.

Skyrim's marriage system, as it exists, is laughably terrible and hollow. The prospect of fixing it will appeal to everybody who ever wanted to be able to get married in an Elder Scrolls game in the first place.

So don't despair.

People wanted it badly enough that Bethesda, notorious for shrugging off things like fan demands (oh, I don't know, crossbows and spears anyone) like they were nothing, actually bothered to HALF-ASSEDLY do this.

When I say the audience is built in, we're talking a much wider audience for sure than just the folks who want to be able to screw their wives.

This is the mod that anyone who wanted marriage in Skyrim to be possible in the first place is waiting for!

Link to comment

The Developers make what they make. I bet the audience bugged them so far enough as to actually not do it or not care. I wouldn't be surprised.

Bethesda still makes good enough games, and I like the Marriage system to a degree. But if your a developer and you get a lot of people complaining right near your ear as loud as they can be, I wouldn't want to appease them.

Hi,

I little short of time now, but I found this

I need someone to test it and see if its good enough to be used.

If its ok, then I will talk to the modder and ask if we can use it later.

@All the people that show me any encouragement:

Many thank to you guys! Its not like I did think no one like my ideia, it just that I believe its to early to take such step as it will be more easy to be done AFTER a sex system come out. Untill that, I will keep looking for mod that could be used and any other thing that would go well with a project like this one.

Thank for all your encouragement!!!
