For get the Oily Wet Body... :blush:post-204983-0-89954500-1402680675_thumb.jpg post-204983-0-06202300-1402680737_thumb.jpg post-204983-0-83603000-1399773315_thumb.jpg post-204983-0-67342200-1399773553_thumb.jpg post-204983-0-20951000-1399773261_thumb.jpg - -

Require:

NifSkope, found it here http://sourceforge.net/projects/niftools/files/nifskope/1.1.3/nifskope-1.1.3.36ebfdd-windows.exe/download

- The Oily Skin - First method (work on PC/NPC body) use this Tutorial, but for work, edit both Nif files (Nif 0 and Nif 1 of your body mashes) http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/52746/?

----------------

- The Oily Skin - Second method - Require a "recent" ENB with in-game settigns options controll panel

I prefer the First method, because the second alternative method on video puts the Oily effect on the Entire image, while the First method modifies only the body of your PC and NPC, if you want the Oily body on your followers, repeat the first method on body mashes in your followers mashes folder.

Note: Rember.. edit both body mashes files, Nif 0 and Nif 1, the nexus Tutorial does not tell you to do, but it must be done, otherwise you will not see any change.

this mod is a standalone, it is no longer available. but I have in my collection. ;)

edit: this mod does not influence the body texture. if you disappear from the water climb this effect after a few seconds.

if it starts with rain, dripping water from the the body and ends after sunshine.

I prefer the third method.  ;)

Edit the wet textures (head, hand and body ... _s.dds), for example with Gimp.

Increase the brightness and save with mipmaps.

Done.

Who wants can also adjust the contrast so that the wetness is stronger - if it is really wet textures.

Advantage:

Works even if armor equipped.

And you can overwrite the meshes without risk - BodySilde etc.

Glosstech looks like a plastic.

this texture is very outdated!

edit: a few more textures.

What underwear mesh is that and how do I get it? I've been looking all over for a replacer for UNP but they all look either too modern or too ugly. This one looks perfect.

stupid question, what underwear; do you mean?

edit: what you see in the video, is not underwear! this is part of a "armor set" Dandelion Armor Set!

Ah I feel dumb. Do you think there's be any way to replace the default underwear with that?

I do not think so! because bra and panties, consists of two share, but the body of a part. you can not just use the texture! it would only be possible, you will find a modder of this bikini converted.

I totaly agree..! ^_^

The best results on skin naked body, are obtained with the first method, there is the possibility to change the values to the nearest millimeter until you get the desired result, without having to touch anything else, everything else remains intact.

What bugs me, is why would the characters be sweaty all the time?

I petition for a mod that links sweaty skin to stamina loss!

Thing is that you'd have to bake a mod that changes the glossiness of your body nif on the fly, or you'd have to create a script that would load different speculars according to your stamina level ... All in all pretty impossible and really heavy performance wise. (tl;dr I tried, I failed)

Do the two methods only work for the naked body or how do i apply this oily effect to the body with armor on?

if you apply glossiness to your body nif and wear armors that don't come with a body that replaces yours then it would show. But cleavage armors have a cleavage body inside them so then you'd lose your edited effect. In that case you'd have to also edit the body that comes with the armor.

The only sure ways to have it applied regardless of what you're wearing is to either edit the glossiness of the entire scene as with the second ENB method, or as clp does it, by editing the s.dds texture files by upping the values of glossy highlights though I've never tried that. Sometimes I've seen an almost powdery effect (like bird shit) when using a gloss map that's strong but having weak environmental gloss effects in the actual scene and I've had to adjust it in ENB anyway.

I use both in combination,  I've found by upping the glossiness of the body nif  I can be less heavy handed with the ENB environment settings. I seem to get a lot finer control that way,  a more light  sweat appearance when armored, and quite a strong wet look when naked - ideal for bath time shots.

Hey guys,

I really like oily-looking bodies. So far, I've been using GlossTech. It does a fine job, but the result looks more as if the character was made from metal, instead of oiled up (the reflections are just different).

My question is: can I somehow get an effect which is similar to the one in the Youtube video from the start post without fiddling with the settings of my ENB mod? Because I'd rather not do that xD  Is there some sort of texture or tool (aside from GlossTech)?  Editing each *.nif file in nifskope seems like an awful lot of work to do for each armor (and possibly more than once since BodySlide will likely override this)...

Thanks,

Alan

EDIT: aaah I'm such a dummy sometimes. I just read through the tutorial linked on the nexus. Basically, it's enough to set the values for the femalebody_1.nif and you're good to go. Looks freaking AWESOME :D
