So to start things off, I'm posting some pictures up to show a player home that I'm making. It is also part of a quest mod (Dark fantasy themed) that I'll be making as well as to get used to the creation kit. Here are some pictures of the outside of the home. I'll be posting more pictures of the player home as I continue to work and finish it. Please tell me what you think and things I could do to make it more appealing and some ideas of features you would like to see in it. I also have made it so you must defeat the militia living in the tower as well as freeing (or abusing) the slaves found in there. Here are some pics of it. Later in further development, ill make a custom armour for the militia since they are a main antagonist for the quest I have planned.

Update: The mod just needs the cluttering done and the last level before completion. Just finishing up the quest portion before finishing the clutter.

Update 2: Added more clutter and pictures of some lore, the quest in action and some slaves. Progress is going good and the mod should be released by this weekend at the earliest or the latest next weekend

Update 3: Clutter is almost finished. Clutter is finished! What's left is the lightning and the outside tower tweaks. Some more screen shots here. Contains spoilers of the quest. The quest still needs to be tweaked. Everything is done in the quest except the endings which won't take too long I hope.

UPDATE 4: Bad news. It seems that my esp file got corrupted for some reason and there is no other back up....this means I will have to restart from scratch the entire mod. Really pissed off about this. On the bright side I will continue this mod to see it finished and since I have the next 4 days off, I'll try to rebuild it as much as possible. This also lets me pick a better location and build a better tower. I also should be able to restore everything a lot faster since I am a beginner at this but since I already know what to do it should be smooth sailings. Still Really upset about this since a lot of effort was made into the first version. I apologies for the massive delay.

Update 5: So I've decided to release 2 versions. The first one will have just the player home, nothing else. The second one will have the finished quests. This way you guys can have the house to play around with/have fun and keep you occupied while I work on the quest. Hope everyone enjoys this direction I'm taking. If you don't just post in the comments you rather wait.

Update 6: New outside exterior is finished. I'll be posting the new screen shots up soon. I like this version better in my opinion. But I'll let you guys decide. Starting the work on the interior. So far I like where this is going a lot better then the first version.

Update 7: The basement main room has been finished with cluttering and I'll be finishing the other 2 rooms. Then I have to finish the other section of the home but so far, I'd say I'm 33% done the cluttering. Again I will be releasing the mod with just the home (maybe some enemies to fight plus a few slaves) then the quest version to take it over.

Update 8: After 12 hours on the creation kit, I manage to finish the clutter of the entire basement level. I'll be working on the lightning and add some npcs and slaves to fight/have fun with. If you guys want, I can throw up the esp file but its only the basement with no lightning. Leave in the comments if you would rather wait of mess around with it a bit right now. It will also give you guys the chance to give me feed back on the mod development and things to change.

Update 9: Good news gents. I fixed and finished the lightning for the basement level of the tower. That means the basement is done (besides the quest) and I'll be doing the real player home portion. I will be putting up the esp for you guys to play with. The map marker will be already discovered so you can fast travel there when ever you feel like it. Their are enemies (the legion) you can fight too just for fun. Again no quest, just a quick walk around the basement.

 

Update 10: Working on quest. Once quest finished, I'll be posting Version 2 with quest. My most recent post said ill be posting the house first, then the quest but decided to get the quest portion done with.

The screen shots look weird in colour because there is no lightning and my character is using the vampire night vision power.

So here's what going to happen. In this mod you have to find the tower and complete the quest that is given to you once inside. You will have 3 options on how to finish the quest. First option is to kill the Warden and tell the slave to leave (Neutral), the second option is to kill the warden and militia and free the slaves (Good), and last option is to kill the warden and militia but lure the slave back to her cell and keep them as your own(Evil). This mod will be based on your good, bad or neutral options through out playing it. Right now its just a house mod but this is the theme that will happen once I begin making it larger.

Now the basement portion where the quest is at is almost completed but the house portion, which is the top floor isn't. But I will release a beta version of the mod where you can complete the quest in the basement with both options available. Should be completed by tonight or tomorrow night. Would have it done sooner but Friday I was at the pub with some buddy's which then lead to risk at his house...so yea fun night

sorry gents, last week I was really busy with work and other stuff so I couldn't work on it. I'll try to work on it this and get it up and running. Just need to finish clutter, lighting and the last bit of the quest. Cheers

Hello all, the basement level is almost complete with only a few more rooms to finish. There is a problem with the quest though and only one path can be completed at this point which is the good path. I'll release the version with the good path completed and update it later when the evil path completed. The mod is almost finish as well and will be released soon. Just tweaking some lighting that seem to glitch a bit

Don't worry gents, it wont die. I'm just really busy with exams but Thursday and Friday I have off so I'll be dedicating those days to fix the annoying lighting that keeps flashing. Also having a little issue with scripting the slave to follow you but I can fix that with time.

 

Also I will be redoing the outside of the tower since I would like it to be taller and not so square like

It looks very intersting.

I tried the beta version, the brawl fight is crazy! :D

 

Glad you enjoyed it! Again, if you see anything that needs fixing, bad lighting, or anything you feel that would help make this a even better mod feel free to speak up! The house portion of the mod will be done soon. Then the quest portion. Hope you guys enjoy the basement level though!

I like the basement as upi created it.

A bit wide, but if you keep as many ennemies as they are for now, it's good, or the fight will not be fun, as the PC could be stuck in an element.

 

Just a question: is it normal that, for now, no quest is available? I saw something in the "old version" pictures, I presume you removed all that stuff to recreate your mod?

yes there was a quest but the first version got corrupted so I had to recreate the tower. I will be adding in the quest after I finish the other portion of the tower. The basement will have the same amount of people that you experienced (possibly even more in the 2 other rooms).
