Conventional HIYOKO was defined in HiyokoGenerator.

Just to say that I consider PEM_ChangeMod to be essential in my games, seething with Hiyokos as they are. No longer do I have to reload games because an anxiously-awaited Hiyoko child has hair that doesn't fit properly. Also, I have learned a fair amount about Oblivion scripting by examining PerfectionCat's mods; his code is very clear and comprehensible.

Just to say that I consider PEM_ChangeMod to be essential in my games, seething with Hiyokos as they are. No longer do I have to reload games because an anxiously-awaited Hiyoko child has hair that doesn't fit properly. Also, I have learned a fair amount about Oblivion scripting by examining PerfectionCat's mods; his code is very clear and comprehensible.

 

It's unfortunate that the machine translation he has to rely on is not as clear and comprehensible, which is why I've never got far into LoversChildDatabase and its derivatives, but I'm slowly updating the documentation for my own use ...

 

As you update that documentation for your own use keep us in mind. I'm not at your level of code reading and understanding, yet but I'm struggling and fighting to get there.

There is two kinds of load order in Oblivion.

One is load order to be used when I play.

Remaining one is load order stored for save data.

Even if Oblivion has a difference in load order and current load order recorded for save data, Oblivion does not revise it.

MOD to refer to when there is a difference will not be found.

When this problem occurs in NPC, you cannot see the figure of NPC.

When a PC approaches the place that there was of NPC, CTD may occur when it is the worst.

In the case of NPC as defined in MOD, such a phenomenon is not caused.

I add LoversCustomLoopVer0.92(Eng).
I only transferred Japanese notation to English.

No offense to perfectioncat whatsoever but could someone explain to me what this mod does? I can see it ties into the pregnancy mod (Which I havn't used yet but I am interested) but I can't quite tell what it is.

 

Is this an npc overhaul for the children? I apologize deeply as I have trouble reading the OP and mean no offense.

Which mod do you mean? There are 8 or 9 here depending on how you count them, The big one is LoversChildDatabase - several others hang off/exploit it.

 

PerfectionCat is trying to get around the big problem with the Hiyoko children; there is no system for them maturing to adults. It's a tricky issue - I've had a go at it and was not pleased with what I could come up with. His solution  is much more elegant, but relies on all the children being of his LoversChild race, spawned with his hiyokogenerator, not the mashup that the usual generators produce. Once you have that in place, the children mature to adults who resemble their child form, become classes other than Commoner, and can be recruited to do something useful rather than just follow the player.

 

There's a lot of other stuff to enhance the above. PerfectionCat will probably be horrified by the lack of understanding I've just displayed, but it was my best attempt to give a 1-paragraph summary.

 

Edit : I have been tinkering with his system when I wanted a change from my usual Hiyokoswarm, and intend to do a detailed writeup at some point. Just not soon. PEM_ChangeMod and LoversHUDInformation are permanent residents in my load order, though, and have no requirement for LoversChildDatabase.

I checked on the question you had asked on why the script had been changed with Rev96 versions on Lovers Lab versus the original Japanese version.  It was necessary to enable creatures to correctly be able to swap animations via Lovers Creatures 2.0

 

Here is what WappyOne wrote:

The original Japanese version of LPK does not have this commented out because the Japanese version of Lovers Creatures does not allow switching animations via the grab key like you can with human animations.

Greg, I know it.
It is specified in comment.
What I wrote in a thread of the PK wrote that that method contradicted comment.
If he comments out that script, it may act so that he expects it.
However, that method excludes the case that he does not expect.
You should handle it at another appropriate point if you want to intend for only creature.
In addition, comment is wrong if he revised it that he is located with all cases and changes it.
