Sorry I don't remember where you can fix it

Hiyoko setting or Mad Comoanionship Spell. There you can set that children or companion is in player faction.

 

If you want to fix your mountain lion you can use the console.

click on your lion

SetFactionRank 00000013 -1

That will remove the creatures faction.

 

Then you can set the lion in player faction

SetfactionRank  0001DBCD 0

Yes 0 ! 0 is the lowest rank ( and the player faction has only rank 0 )
