I'm curious.  I just started using a crossbow, but the bolts are way far off the body.  Does that have to do with the crossbow bolt settings, the CotS settings or the clothes I'm wearing?

Bolts don't penetrate as deep as arrows and is worse on custom bodies.  This is very noticeable on unp. I use this mod to adjust the bolt depth.

You might've misunderstood me though, as I was talking about the way the quiver of bolts rests on your body.  Sometimes I see it floating like 10 inches off of me, and I dont know if that has to do with the bolts themselves, the clothers and or armor I'm wearing or the CotS body type.

It's a shame that this mod can't be applied to CoTS bodies it would make quivers fit better if it did.

Oh ok, yes that seems to be depend on a combination of the skeleton and the mesh. Larger armor meshes won't show the distance as much because they take up the existing space, smaller tighter armors show the disparity between where the armor ends and the skeleton defines bolt placement. 

 

 

 There isn't a 'quick' way to fix that as far a I know. You need to edit the skeleton to change how far away it places the bolts. Moving it closer may cause clipping on bulkier armors and clothing. I've never done this myself as I don't play in third person very often and almost all of my followers use the bow, I only have my heavy armor wearers use crossbows as it seems more realistic to me.

@Krissy bolts tend to do that I think it has something to do with skeleton they would have to be modified to fit the body better or modify the skeleton. Because arrows and bolts are made to fit a regular body/skeleton not a smaller/children's body.

 

The what mod is this thread is now at mach 3.

As been said It needs a skeleton adjustment. Swords, crossbows, bolts, arrows each has a bone. They would need to be moved closer . There could be other ways to do it as well. What do I know.

Just bought Deponia and Chaos on Deponia both look pretty fun they kind of remind me of the treepwood monkey island series. They seem a bit greedy on steam though they want you to buy the bundle pack of 5 games all from the same developers for $79.99 only a blind person would buy the bundle pack when you can buy them all separate for $44.95.

I have no Idea what happened to the link for the patch, but I have replaced it.   The others are working. I have heard quite a few people have random issues with Mega, Try a different browser. I would put copies up on MF but they are still at it.

You should not of.  You are the first one. Have your run a large armor before? The chain one is quire large due to all of the parts at over 7k KB instead of the usual 1k KB.  Your V card may of said "OH hell no"

I Made a small change to the Field Mage Outfit including removing the glossiness from the boots. I had Ancient Draugr laying around so I added that. Then I found an Assassin I was working on quite some time ago, but could not figure out where I wanted to go with it so I add that as a thief. ( creativity is not my strong suit) I threw in Imperial armors as well.

 

This will over-write the existing Field Mage, if you have it, but all id's are the same so you will not loose the one you have.

Thanks! That's the first time I used Crome to search for or download anything. I'll have to consider using that for future download issues, and anthing uploaded to Mega for downloading.
