**PLEASE HELP ME OUT**

Good Day!  :shy:

I really am having issues with this WhickedWhims mod,

HERE ARE MY PROBLEMS/ CONCERNS:

  • First, Whenever i Search for the mods and animations in the "MODS MENU" in- game, WhickedWhims doesn't show up in Script Mods. (IT DOESN'T SHOW UP)

**HERE IS THE PIC**

  • Second, is that my Sims are even updated (latest patch of toddlers and vampires).
  • I do not use Origin.
  • The Mod and Script Mods are already enabled in the Settings.
  • I already Installed the updated WhickedWhims, Animations, and Optional Downloads.
  • At first, Only the penis worked during the game. I tried uninstalling and re- installing the WhickedWhims. It doesn't work anymore. I INSTALLED IT 4 TIMES
  • Also I did not save it in a deep folder, I saved all of it on  "\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Mods\"

**HERE IS THE PIC**

  • And Lastly Yes, I have a " Resource.cfg " file

Can you guys tell me what am i doing wrong with the mod?

**Also my Game is updated and i enabled the mods & script mods**

**WhickedWhims is updated (May 20th 2017)**

It would really help me and the others with the same problems (TYSM)

**I Re- installed it for the 7th time it still doesnt show up**

Here is my procedure I applied (mainly for making it working and also for better organization in case of updating/removing/modifiying):

My setup is like that:

MY SETUP ADVICES:

1) Download the archive of WickedWhims.

2) Create in your Mods folders a new folder and call it: from LoversLab.com (Only Adult Mods)

3) Enter the from LoversLab.com (Only Adult Mods) folder and create a new folder in it, name it as: WithScript - Gameplay

4) Enter the WithScript - Gameplay folder and create a new folder in it, name it as: WickedWhims

5) Enter the WickedWhims folder and create a new folder in it, name it as: ScriptsList - CreateASims Parts

6) You normally have now this structure:

Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Mods\from LoversLab.com (Only Adult Mods)\WithScript - Gameplay\WickedWhims\ScriptsList - CreateASims Parts

7) Open archive of WickedWhims

8) Now, extract all files in thoses corrects folders:
--{a} .package
in: Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Mods\from LoversLab.com (Only Adult Mods)\WithScript - Gameplay\WickedWhims
--{b} .ts4script
in: Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Mods\from LoversLab.com (Only Adult Mods)\WithScript - Gameplay\WickedWhims\ScriptsList - CreateASims Parts
--{c} .json
in: Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Mods\from LoversLab.com (Only Adult Mods)\WithScript - Gameplay\WickedWhims\ScriptsList - CreateASims Parts

8) Now,
In Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Mods\ folder I created a new last folder, named as: ScriptedMods - de LoversLab.com (Only Adult Mods)

9) Remember the Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Mods\from LoversLab.com (Only Adult Mods)\WithScript - Gameplay\WickedWhims\ScriptsList - CreateASims Parts folder ?
Yeah, sure, go in, and move ALL files that inside into
must move all .ts4script and .json files folder in
Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Mods\ScriptedMods - from LoversLab.com (Only Adult Mods)

10) Now last parts (for Organisation I said),
is to create a shortcut for each FILES you just put in Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Mods\ScriptedMods - from LoversLab.com (Only Adult Mods)

11) Move now theses new shortcuts to the folder: Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Mods\from LoversLab.com (Only Adult Mods)\WithScript - Gameplay\WickedWhims\ScriptsList - CreateASims Parts

/!\ Why creating shortcuts?
Simply for organization, I mean, when you want know WHICH scripts is tied to/is a part of WickedWhims, you just now can quickly follow your shortcut target :)

Install of WickedWhims is done, and you're normally ok !

Start your game and enjoy WickedWhims loading ! (And showing as a Notification).

For use, just click on your Sims (or any other sims) and choose "WickedWhims" you will see "Settings" and other features :)

Have fun!

I'm French, I hope I was clear in English !

You can also follow advices from kevboothenglish or mine, two methods works like a charm :) (mine target also Organization of files of the Mod).

Q: Would that be an error if you put too much folders though (or the sims 4 can't find the files of whickedwhims?

I just have 2 folders, 1 for Wicked Whims and 1 for the animations, stick em in the Mods folder and just update by overwriting as necessary. You do know there's a new update out today for yesterday's patch don't you?? It works perfectly for me.

Yes~

I do have the May 21st update.  :D

Okay so I found out a way to fix the problem.

RFirst, Divide the files you downloaded to these ff:

  • WickedWhims folder
  • Animations Folder
  • Body Mod Folder

Open The WickedWhims folder and you will see a file called

"TURBODRIVER_WickedWhims_Scripts.ts4script"

RightClick it then click "Open With"

Then Find the "The Sims 4" application, click it

It will soon start and check if the mods are already in there

This fixed my problem, i hope i helped you guys :)

Also Thanks to:

Kevbootenglish, Atanacius for giving me tips <3

Q: Would that be an error if you put too much folders though (or the sims 4 can't find the files of whickedwhims?

@manduxxi, as far I know, only one floor is authorized for ScriptMods (.ts4script files).

Packages (.package files) are not concerned by this limitation.

It's the way the game was developped, I think we can't do more for workarounding that :/

So.. I mean:

"Mods\Folder1\Folder2\Folder3\" any .ts4script will NOT WORK (it will load, but not as a script mod in the game !)

"Mods\Folder1\Folder2\" any .ts4script will NOT WORK (it will load, but not as a script mod in the game !)

"Mods\Folder1\" any .ts4script will WORK (it will load, and as a script mod in the game !)

I hope I was clear!

I'm glad my post has helped you !

Have a fun with WickedWhims mod
