About This File

Wiki Editors wanted. Here's the wiki. PM me for questions.

For this mod to work smoothly, I highly recommend installing the BLANK AUDIO FILES, this allows you to skip through dialogue and keeps the camera focused on the NPC talking. Alternatively, there are computer-generated voiced lines available as of April '22, many thanks to Lestat_Rhodes for putting in the work.

Alternatively, download this little mod here: F4z Ro D-oh which should do the work automatically.

A sequel to Fertile Breeder.
The cherry on top: this time I've taken male characters in account and male characters have some unique dialogue options where appropriate.

Invictusblade made a handy dandy archive for the loose voice files, which should greatly help reducing load times.

Story:

Over the years, a strange mutation has been spreading throughout the Commonwealth: the Breeder Mutation. Suddenly, women are capable of falling pregnant with the numerous animals roaming the wastes. Watch the effects the mutation has on the numerous affected women, and discover its origins as you lend your hands to the people of the Commonwealth.

Quests:

Work your way through 13 unique story-driven quests, meet a range of new characters (and some old ones you may remember from Fertile Breeder for Fallout: New Vegas) and see how the IHFM impacts the Commonwealth.
You can find the quests at the following locations:

Standard quests:

-BBM01 - The Lost Children: Salem Museum of Witchcraft
-BBM02 - Lurking In The Dark: Sommerville Place
-BBM03A - A Friend In Need...: FOB Sigma, just south of the Poseidon Energy site

-BBM03B - She's A Friend Indeed: Starts after A Friend In Need...

-BBM03C - The Hornets' Nest: Starts after She's A Friend Indeed
-BBM04 - Twisted Minds: Dugout Inn (Diamond City)
-BBM05 - Family Affairs: Sunshine Tidings Co-Op
-BBM06 - Finders Keepers: Kingsport Lighthouse
-BBM07 - When The Cows Come home: Oberland Station
-BBM08 - Caught In The Middle: Jamaica Plain
-BBM09 - Doctor On Call: Dr. Faraday's Lab (Replaces Warehouse in Diamond City)
-BBM10 - Cait's Submission: Available if you have 100 or more affinity points with Cait and having Jade as an available companion
-BBM11 - A Curious Curie: Available once Curie has her synth body and having Jade as an available companion
-BBM12 - The Pied Piper: Once Jade is available as a follower: Recruit Piper, then dismiss her. After a week, any Diamond City guard will kick off the quest.
-BBM13 - Woman's Best Friend: Available once you take Dogmeat to Diamond City
-BBM14 - The Milk of Human Kindness: Available once you have 500 affinity points with Strong

-BBM15 - Sixty Minute Man: Available after completing the vanilla quest "Old Guns" and started by speaking to Preston Garvey.

Follower quests:

BBJ03 - A Trip Down Memory Lane: Starts upon reaching affinity level 3 with Jade
BBJ04 - Ghosts Of The Past: Starts after completing "A Trip Down Memory Lane"
BBJ05 - Double Trouble: Available a week after completing "Ghosts Of The Past".

BBJ06 - Split Personality: Available a week after completing "Double Trouble".

Captive scenarios

BBC01 - Enter The Lair: Started by approaching the Deathclaw south of the Scrap Palace, or by hearing the rumor.

Companions

Jade Greene
She's back, and meaner than ever. That is, if you piss her off, otherwise she's the same angel the Lone Wanderer met. To recruit her, you will have to complete the quest "The Green Devil", which is started automatically after completing the quest "Doctor On Call", which can be started by talking to Dr. Faraday in Diamond City.

April Bourne

They grow up so fast, don't they? Join forces with April to take down a new threat to the Hornets, after which she may follow you around on a more informal basis.

Install instructions:

-Add the Boston Breeder .rar file to your mod manager, install.
-Install the Voice pack as well (Blank audio files. Optional, but not having them WILL be a pain in the ass until something like Fuz Ro D'Oh comes along.)
>To install the Voice Pack, you will first have to unpack the archives into a seperate folder and then repackage them. Sadly, LL doesn't allow for files larger than 100MB to be posted, so for now this is the only option.

Required files:

Full files:
-CBBE
-Advanced Animation Framework [AAF]
-Animation packs to go with AAF

Meshes & Textures
-Danse's Wearable Holotags
-Ponytail Hairstyles
-Elianora's Fallout Junk Yard (Sleeveless Outfits)

Recommended (but not required)

-CROSS_BrotherhoodRecon (For April)

Bugs:

Unaddressed
-Captive actors (tied up position) may float away from position. Moving them using console commands (ex. moveto player) resets their location.
-BBM08 - Katie and Amber do not return to Jamaica Plain after rescuing Amber.
-BBM08 - Eliminate slavers objective does not trigger, no target given.
-BBJ03 - Some actors are not in place when their appropriate scenes start.

 Addressed, awaiting confirmation
-BBM01 - During the scene with Wodan, companions sometimes lose all their gear.
-BBM05 - Quest does not trigger
-BBM07 - Killing the Gunner doesn't advance the quest.
-BBM08 - Katie doesn't appear if you have already secured Jamaica Plain before starting the quest
-BBM08 - Katie or Amber will turn hostile upon friendly fire
-BBM08 - Asking Amber about Breeders does not trigger "Doctor On Call".
-BBM09 - When returning with Dr. Wolfe, Faraday interrupts the scene by starting a conversation with the player.

-BBJ04 - Liam does not move from Natick Banks to Bunker Hill.
-BBJ04 - Scene at Bunker Hill would progress even if Kessler isn't present

How to force advance a quest:
-Find quest code (See quests tab above. Ex. "The Green Devil" has the code "BBJ01".
-Use the command "Getstage <QuestCode>"
-Use command "SetStage <QuestCode> XX", replace "XX" with the current stage+10

 How to report a bug:
1. Discover bug
2. Describe bug
3. Wait until either I or someone else helps you

What's New in Version 1.6.4

Released

Minor bug fixes:

-Fixed April's scene walking out on the player if hostile to the Brotherhood of Steel.

-Fixed the "When the Cows Come Home" dialogue issue where you couldn't address the Hornets Leader

-Made the duffle bag at the end of the Hermes quest appear as a staged event in case the quest bugs out.

-Other incremental fixes over the past months I probably forgot about.
