This is a continuation of the combined works of mainfct and korialstraszbob on the Radiant Prostitution project.

 

Radiant Prostitution 3 is based on RP Tweaked 1.08b, and includes a number of fixes, tweaks and additions I've built into the mod as needed. I don't claim any ownership over the mod or the changes I've made to it. Should anyone wish to resume work on the mod, you're welcome to take my latest version and build on top of it.

Radiant Prostitution allows you to, well, become a prostitute! You register with an innkeeper at an inn, and take on clients around the town/city in exchange for gold. As you get more proficient at your job, innkeepers will offer more complex and higher-paying jobs, such as offering home service, providing entertainment for a military camp, and more. The mod is made to work with either gender, though some quests will make more sense for a female player character.

To begin, talk to any innkeeper and ask about jobs. Initially you'll have access to two types, (simple prostitution, or serving tables) which are covered in detail below. Note that you can only be registered to one innkeeper at a time, and if you stray too far from the general location, the innkeeper will assume you ditched the job and not be happy when you come back.

 

Serving tables: Go around the inn asking patrons if they want food or drinks. Once you get an order, get the items the customer ordered from the innkeeper, then take them back to receive payment. You get to keep the customer's tip, and the innkeeper will take the rest. If you got the order wrong, the customer may refuse to pay, and the innkeeper will give you an earful. While on the job, there will always be at least one patron in the inn that wants to order food, but it may take some time to find them if there's a large amount of people. Also, some customers may not be looking for food, but for something more salacious, and if you take them up on their offer, you'll stop serving tables and switch to prostitution.

 

Simple prostitution: Proposition clients in the town/city around the inn, or wait for them to come to you (configurable in MCM). Different clients will have different tastes, and payment will vary according to which act they want you to perform. You can try and convince them to do something else, but they won't always accept, and some may even rape you instead. Once you've had enough clients, meet the innkeeper back at the inn to end your session. The innkeeper will take a MCM-configurable share of the profits. If you leave the location without reporting to the innkeeper first, they'll put a bounty on you for not giving them a share of the profits.

 

Home deliveries (unlocked at rank 2): Go to the client's home and satisfy their wishes. This job is only available once in a while.

 

Camp job (unlocked at rank 3): Go to the military camp and boost the morale of the troops. This job pays considerably higher than simple prostitution, but has a longer cooldown period than home deliveries. Camp jobs are no longer available when you pick a side in the civil war.

 

Random quest (unlocked at rank 4): A collection of more complex prostitution quests. Most of these feature bestiality in some form, so if you're not into that, you'll want to stick to the other forms of prostitution.

Competition:
Certain types of NPCs will also be involved in prostitution. By default, only NPCs wearing the tavern wench outfit will do it, but the player can get a special amulet of Dibella from an innkeeper to tag other NPCs as prostitutes. These NPCs will then occasionally offer their services to other NPCs, and may also be solicited by the player.

Updating

Generally, updating this mod can be done without any special care, just replace the old version files with the new ones. If there's any exception for a new version, it will be mentioned in the patch notes.

 

With that in mind, there are multiple changes in RP 3.0.0 and higher that make it incompatible with previous versions of the mod, like RP Tweaked 1.08b. If you're running one of those old versions in your save and wish to update to 3.0.0+, you'll need to do the following:

  • Be 100% sure that the save you want to update on does NOT have any RP quests currently running, especially the Getting Stuff Back quest.
  • Uninstall Radiant Prostitution entirely and launch the game.
  • Load the save you plan to continue playing from. (Say 'Yes' when you get a warning message about missing content.)
  • Wait approximately one minute after the game loads, then save and quit.
  • (Optional, but highly recommended to avoid issues) Use a save script cleaner to open the save you've just made, and remove the orphaned script references.
  • Install the latest version of Radiant Prostitution, load the latest save you've made, and wait for SkyUI to register its MCM, and for RP to display a notification about adding 9 quests. Once both of those are done, you should be good to go.

Compatibility

Radiant Prostitution should work nicely with pretty much anything, even other SexLab prostitution mods, but there are some things that may break it, namely mods that automatically start SexLab animations based on proximity to the player. Known incompatible mods:

  • SexLab Dangerously Nude - Will cause simple prostitution jobs to break if walking around naked.
  • SexLab Aroused Creatures - Prevents Random Job quests involving bestiality from working properly. May be temporarily disabled in its MCM settings while performing these quests.

3.2.2
- Passive solicitation should no longer randomly stop working, especially when moving from the inn to an exterior cell.
- Gender and race modifiers now correctly affect approach chance in passive solicitation.
- Lead-in animations no longer play before the main animation in non-consensual scenes.
- An infinite loop bug that could occur in rare situations in the Home Visit quest has been corrected.
- Home Visit quest no longer randomly selects a deactivated NPC as the client, which would lead to an impossible-to-complete quest. This should also alleviate the client-behind-locked-doors issue.

- The mechanism that controls passive solicitation has been overhauled. It should now work more reliably, and follow the MCM scan interval setting closely.
- Home and Camp Jobs now properly clean-up if the player fails or cancels the quest.
- Couriers no longer approach the player during prostitution, nor can they be tagged as the customer while serving tables.
- NPC prostitutes now receive gold whenever they perform.
- Minor dialogue tweaks.

 

3.2.0
- (Note: Don't update to this version while there are any RP quests running, finish them first!)
- Multiple NPCs may now become potential customers for the food job, instead of the quest selecting just one hungry NPC in the entire inn. This should make finding a customers easier in a highly populated inn.
- Rewrote the function that validates a client during passive solicitation, to more accurately represent the MCM gender and race settings.
- The Jarl scene at the end of the Stable Job should no longer get stuck.
- Max Repetitions MCM slider expanded from 2-10 to 0-10, allowing repeat scenes to be disabled entirely.
- Rough sex and lesbian scenes now take the Max Repetitions setting into account.
- SexLab no longer displays the "Use Bed?" pop-up if 'Use Beds' is disabled in MCM.
- The journal entry "I learned about prostitution jobs available" now clears itself when the player finishes a simple prostitution job.
- Removed a dialogue that the player isn't supposed to access at the end of Home Visit, and also disabled an unnecessary force-greet.
- Dialogue fixes to the Stable Job so the player doesn't mention the bucket before the stable master does.
- Improved customer selection conditions for the food job.
- Fixed the stuck Automatic Free Camera bug (again).
- Oral scenes involving 2 females should now correctly pick cunnilingus animations instead of blowjobs with strap-ons. Hopefully.

- An issue that prevented the automatic free camera from working has been resolved.
- Fixed faction issues in two of the Home job variants.
- The innkeeper no longer mentions an interesting request repeatedly if you don't meet the requirements for the Camp Job due to having joined one of the sides in the civil war. This change allows the innkeeper to offer you the Random Quest even if you've never completed the Camp Job.
- The horse in the Stable Quest now only hits the player once to start the sex animation, instead of doing it repeatedly until health drops below 80%, as this could potentially take a long time if the player is high level. (You still need to be naked for the horse to stop attacking, though!)
- The innkeeper is no longer a potential client for simple prostitution jobs when using active solicitation.
- Fixed multiple issues involving rape scenes not starting an animation.
- Passive soliciting has been reworked to be a bit more reliable.
- Oral scenes involving 2 females should now pick a larger selection of animations that are appropriate for the context, instead of just 'Arrok Lesbian' or 'Zyn Licking'.
- Consensual scenes have a much lower chance of selecting animations with the 'Aggressive' tag.

 

3.0.0
- SexLab Framework 1.59c compatibility support.
- JContainers 3.2.4 compatibility support.
- Added 2 new Home job variants. (one was already in the mod but bugged and disabled, the other is entirely new)
- Rewrote and corrected the dialogue of most quests.
- Added new NPC dialogue for simple jobs, including lesbian-specific dialogue paths and new options for existing ones.
- Lesbian scenes are now correctly recognized for payment purposes, instead of defaulting to a x1.0 multiplier. (payment will match the multiplier of a vaginal scene)
- 69 animations are no longer considered valid when starting a blowjob prostitution scene.
- Rejected clients no longer try to approach the player again immediately after ending the dialogue.
- Clients will remain satisfied for considerably longer after a sex scene. This is to avoid having a small number of NPCs repeatedly approach the player alternatively since their satisfaction effect had already worn off by the time you were done with a second client.
- Allowed inventory access during sex scenes, to give players control over items they're wearing.
- Passive mode in simple jobs no longer breaks if a player rejects a client and is raped as a result.
- Removed a condition check that was causing random quests to fail to start occasionally.
- The new food job in 1.08 has been replaced with the older, more reliable version. Apologies to everyone that preferred the new version, but it was so buggy I couldn't even make heads or tails of it.
- The method to randomly select a home/random quest has been simplified, as the previous system resulted in a predictable rotation for quest selection. Now it only ensures that you won't get the same quest twice in a row, but other than that, there are no restrictions.
- The rape scenario in the Camp job now randomly selects from either vaginal or anal animations, instead of always picking anal.
- The Fan job now fails gracefully if the fan is killed before the player reaches him, allowing the innkeeper to reset properly.
- The Fan job will now automatically end shortly after the rape scene finishes, without having to return to the innkeeper. This allows the player to start other jobs for gold so they can pay for travel or for their gear back, without having to return to the inn that started the job.
- The method used to strip and steal items from the player during the Fan job has been changed so it no longer potentially removes quest items from the player, which could result in gamebreaking issues.
- The Companion Rape job now has a reduced chance of being selected if the player is not somewhere in the Whiterun hold. This should help avoid having to move halfway across the map all the time.
- The farmhand in the Giant Sacrifice job will now stand down and yield as intended if defeated by the player.
- Similarly, the farmhand will stop attacking if he successfully takes the player below the health threshold. Additionally, the quest now correctly updates to register the player's defeat.
- The health threshold to defeat the player in the Giant Sacrifice job has been raised from 30% to 50%, as it was too low and often resulted in death instead of surrender at higher difficulties.
- The payment functions in the Giant Sacrifice job now award the player the correct amount of gold regardless of the dialogue path taken.
- Finishing the giant scene in the Giant Sacrifice job no longer updates the quest to describe that the player had defeated the farmhand.
- The tiered rewards of the Stable job were adjusted for consistency, as they were incredibly high compared to other random quests.
- Other fixes I may have forgotten about. Maybe.
- Probably broke a bunch of stuff that was working just fine before I got my hands on it. :)
